Things I really want Before the Storm to address in episodes 2 and/or 3:

Why are all of Rachel’s flannels ripped at the right shoulder’s seam? What is she doing that only THAT shoulder rips???

Speaking of Rachel’s earring, what’s the story there? Why is it her Iconic Accessory®

Is Chloe responsible for for any of the Rachel-related graffiti we see in LiS? Did she carve “Rachel Amber -♥- 4 Ever” into that desk?

Also have some headcanons because AmberPrice has ruined my goddamn life (please someone write about/draw some of these):

Rachel, having Broadway ambitions and being part of the drama program, has a soft spot for showtunes. Chloe acts like she’s horrified by this, but secretly she loves how nerdy it is. Rachel knows this because Chloe is a little too enthusiastic to sing along to the Grease soundtrack with her.

They both broke their wrists as kids. Because of this, they both know when a particularly nasty rain storm is coming through during fall and winter because their wrists will ache. They both have a habit of doing a quick, flicking rotation of their wrists to make them pop when they feel stiff. Sometimes they get into little wrist-cracking battles to see who can make it crack the loudest.

Rachel is ambidextrous because she broke the wrist on her dominant hand and she had to learn to use the other one while it healed. The muscle memory just stuck and she kept developing it.

Rachel and Chloe steal David’s muscle car one night and the Dixie Chicks’ Fly album is in the stereo. Chloe threatens to barf on Rachel if she plays it, but the next thing she knows, Rachel has it turned all the way up and they’re both screaming along to “Goodbye Earl” and imagining the song is about David. Chloe thinks she can make an exception to her hatred for country music if it means Rachel singing in a comically exaggerated southern drawl about dumping David’s body in a lake and them riding off into the sunset together.

Rachel sleeps over and somehow Chloe wakes up stupidly early in morning and before Rachel. Chloe gets the overwhelming urge to surprise her with blueberry pancakes in bed and tries to play it off like it’s totally not a big deal and she was just hungry and made extra because she didn’t want to be rude, okay, and no, she absolutely did not sneak over and pick fresh blueberries from the neighbor’s front yard and it’s whatever, Rachel, why are you looking at her like that?!

Sometimes Chloe helps Rachel practice her lines for drama class, reading for whoever is opposite Rachel in the scene. Rachel let’s her play with the props and costumes to hilarious results. Once, Chloe gave a straight-faced reading of Hamlet to Rachel’s Ophelia while wearing a fake mustache, shutter shades, and a backwards snapback, all while wielding a large candy cane as a staff. The memory of it almost makes Rachel bust out laughing in the middle of the scene on opening night.

Chloe is the only person who is allowed to touch Rachel’s earring.
