Amazon Adds 15 More Planes To Expand Its Cargo Fleet

Amazon on Tuesday said an extra fifteen Boeing 737-800 cargo aircraft from associate GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). These will combine the five Boeing 737-800's already rented from GECAS, helping the e-commerce giant continue growing its air fleet so it can accelerate Prime deliveries. Amazon says it will open more air facilities in 2019, including at Fort Worth Alliance Airport, Wilmington Air Park, and Chicago Rockford International Airport.
