nah it tracks, we all thirst over people we've literally never once seen and could not recognize in a line up (cough jake hurwitz cough), so the carlos luna stuff makes sense. it's just so funny to me that if kinda happened so quickly, like dude has been on d20 twice and no one says anything but he voices an npc with a sexy voice once and everyone loses their marbles. if that's not talent then idk what is
