The disrespect not only fandom but IDW continually puts on my boy’s name 😭 I hate Jet’s treatment I really do

#i don’t have many complaints abt IDW or the writing but I think for the most part it’s so good #but this right here I could write an essay on #if y’all thought shadow has been written badly y’all don’t even know the pain and suffering Jet stans go thru #they really straight up refuse to acknowledge any development or story from the riders games #like how the hell do you make Jet a descendant of aliens and just never bring that up again #they literally only use the rogues to clown on them as petty stupid thieves #also the fact that Jet was so blasè about saving sonic and the world during the metal virus arc literally does not add up #he’s already helped sonic save the world TWICE #and the entire ending of zero gravity was Jet seeing sonic as his equal and setting aside petty bs to forge a friendly rivalry #like I literally do not understand why he’s written the way he is in the comics
