#oh wow this is so different #you can really tell that this is a different writer #that Rick and Linda have a romantic relationship while Rick pines after the Black Cat is completely new #in the past he’s been portrayed as infatuated with the Black Cat and barely knowing who Linda is but having a negative opinion of her #also that Linda’s cat has its own costume and fights crime alongside her is completely new #previously her cat has mostly just been who she talks to at the end of the story which provides a neat conclusion #also even though Rick and the Black Cat’s relationship seems similar #in that he’s very dedicated to her while she can be affectionate towards him but also does stuff like leave him behind #it definitely feels different #I think because the moment where she leaves him behind because #‘I can’t stay here and hold hands with you all day’ #is something that’s very fitting to their relationship #it’s regaled to the end #and there aren’t really any snarky moments between them throughout the story #also that bit where Rick accidentally punches the Black Cat stands out #because he normally acts like she’s superhuman #and she frankly is normally written in a way that aligns with that #harvey comics #linda turner #my posts #comic panels
