I wonder what it must’ve been like as Rauru seeing Sonia for the very first time. Never seeing anyone like her, but the more he got to know her, the more he was fascinated by her. Rauru was practical, a man who thought well and hard before he acted.  Sonia, though, was moved by heart. She felt with abundance, and many matters, as Rauru would come to find, were often swayed by the heart. Even his own.
