Ok so I already sent an ask for the writing meme but after reading your last update it was too good and I love houseplants even more, so Willow for the meme thing✨🦔
oh my god pearl i’m so glad you liked it!! i’ve already done willow so like maybe you can save some time for a similar character in terms of role played? aka lilee from helium throat?? hope that's okay lol.
1. turbulent. lilee feels things very strongly, but her most profound emotion is anger. she’s angry at the world for dealing her such an awful hand, and despite trying to come to terms with it multiple times, she’s still full of fury. while she tries her best not to direct said anger onto her family, sometimes it slips out and the result is scary.
2. genuinely caring. lilee wanted nothing but the best for emily, but she couldn’t provide because of various reasons, the topmost being that she, too, was just a really tired, sad child who had been saddled with too much responsibility from a very young age. emily doesn’t fully know or understand her side of the story. neither of them had a good childhood.
3. comforting. despite what she’s going through, lilee wants to be the rock for her family, the one who provides love and support. young emily viewed her as her true mother [her birth mother doesn’t live with them] and this came from a place of intense care and love.
ask game: pick a character i’ve written and i’ll post the top three to five ideas/concepts i keep in mind while writing that character that i believe are essential to accurately depicting them!!
