Hunter’s design is so perfect, because he is not perfect.

He is the “cartoon crush” character. He is the one these kids are going to grow up and say “Oh yeah, I was in LOVE with Hunter from The Owl House.” He’s the Danny Phantom, the Shego, the Zuko.

And what makes me find his design so AMAZING with this in mind, is that he has so many “ugly” physical features. He has a cut in his ear, a scar on his cheek, a tooth gap, eye bags, bushy eyebrows, and a crooked nose. The fact that the “attractive character” has so MANY of these “unattractive” qualities... It’s such a breath of fresh air to see.
