Finished Desolation Island this morning and I’m so pleasantly surprised and delighted by how nice the ending was. At least, within the context of the series and it’s characters

#hey wow this is a lot more like master and commander’s ending in terms of tone #the comparative lack of stephen suffering this book was lovely #I sincerely loved the little friendship between stephen and mrs wogan #loved that dynamic so much #in terms of how horrible I was expecting things to be this book I expected too high lol #it was just a lovely ending! #the next book is gonna completely 180 on me here though #anyways #aubreyad #it took me so long to finish.. I’ve been so. so. busy… #trying to budget around union fees is also… aaaaaahhh #but I’m so glad I had so much fun with this book #only note: Tom Pullings wasn’t in all of it #I know why from a narrative perspective (it would have been a much shorter book lol) #but also hey! that’s my boy! #ALSO FINALLY!
