Okay. I have slept after the lore. I have woken up, and watched all the other POVs. Now I think i can calmly say

so- I found this song and decided that I was gonna cave and do a breakdown of the lyrics and why it's c!Icarus coded.

The song chosen is "This Is Love" by Air Traffic Controller.

This during the season 2 prison duo incident, with Icarus keeping Centross in the prison. Centross saying that Icarus isn’t a good person and so is he, and that Centross should be killed by them based on everything that’s happened.

“I'm an idiot for thinking

This was anything but blood”

Centross again, and still in that prison incident from season 2, where it’s Centross realising the reasons why Icarus was doing what they’re doing. Can also be taken as season 3 current brothers, where Rae is realising what Icarus is doing with Fable.

“You must like being the victim

You've done nothing to get out

Of this pattern of pain”

Icarus still being stuck in the cycle of pain, and sometimes not bothering to get out of it and just moping around.

“You'll forgive me if I promise

And do nothing but the same”

Icarus saying that they won’t do those things again, and yet still doing them again and again, breaking everyone’s trust.

Centross saying during the drunk stream that he won’t be around much longer, this turning out to be true from the Cathedral stream.

Each reset, and when a new villain arc happens for Icarus, everyone else has to scatter and try to figure new things out because it didn’t work like the first time.

Season 3 Icarus saying they know what the wrongs and rights are of what’s happening, but they prefer the fight as a main solution (which the arguably never succeed in)

- Can also be taken for season 1 corrupt!Icarus, how they always fought with everyone except a few (Easton, occasionally Athena, Momboo, etc.)

“If there's any sleep at night”

Season 3 Icarus, and how the nights seemed to be sleepless once Centross died.

Again, can be taken as season 1 corrupt!Icarus, and the fact they never really slept during Ominous bane, or throughout the time of corruption in general until they were broken out of it.

“I got my knife, got my gun”

Corrupt!Icarus talking to Athena (or Ominous Bane) before the Three Strikes stream, and the “knife” being their sword, with their “gun” being their bow (which I believed was named “Gun” in season 1? I may be thinking of another time thought)

“Let’s see how fast you run”

Three Strikes stream, Icarus chasing after Athena and threatening to shoot their arrow at him. (I think that speaks for itself, yeah?)

“You might think that you can hurt me

But the damage has been done”

Icarus talking to Rae or anyone trying to “hurt” them during corruption, saying they can’t be hurt more as whatever damage spoken had already been dealt.

“If I was sorry for my actions

Would I ever stoop so low?”

Icarus saying that if they were sorry they wouldn’t be stooping down as far as some of the things they’ve done. Probably current Icarus/season 3 Icarus.

“I was good but then I quit

Everyone that tried to fix me

Knows that I can't change a bit

I've got no shame, got no pride

Only skeletons to hide”

Icarus saying that they tried to be good, they tried so hard but it ended up in them still being a villain, no matter what everyone did to try “fix” them. Everyone (Icarus and the things + maybe fable and/or coworkers) knows that they don’t change no matter what, and the “skeletons” being those they’ve killed. Momboo, Haley, all the gods, and technically Centross though that was more Fable’s doing.

Basically, I read I know that I lost you [one or two forevers ago] by liminalAugustus and saw a quote and really thought about it.

“I have a brother again. His name is Rae.”

What if Icarus wrote a letter to themself to remember after he found out Rae was his brother?

They stared at the cover of their notebook as if it had wronged them. They glared at the intricate purple and yellow design, at the pair of golden wings depicted in the center.

They opened it up again to reread over the letter they had written, starting to pace once again.

[The letter looked like it was written hastily. There are also some spots of blood staining the pages, as well as some dried evidence of tears. The first time they said their name is what looks to be “glitched” with many different colors obscuring the ink only in that spot.]

To whoever find this,

Caspian and Aax are your friends.

Seven is your friend.

Ven is… complicated, but he doesn’t deserve to be alone. Make sure he is okay.

I don’t know if Will will be there, and even if he is, he will go his own direction. Don’t forget him.

Remember Haley. You killed her, she didn’t deserve that. Don’t disrespect her death by letting her go forgotten.

Remember Chaos. You didn’t know them that well, and they didn’t trust you, but she does not deserve to be forgotten.

Remember what you have done before, you do not deserve the forgiveness that these people have given you. Don’t forget them. You love them, and I think they love you too.

Icarus rips the pages out of the book and folds them up, sealing it with golden wax and a blue orchid. With shaking hands they pull out their flint and steel, and head outside their house. They look up to the sky and breathe for a moment.

They just let themselves feel. They feel the wind tousle their hair, the sun against their face. This may be the last time they feel this until the next reset. They turn back towards their house and look at it with a small smile.

They set a piece of the ground alight, just looking at the burning flame for a moment before throwing their letter in. They watch it burn and disappear, and put out the flame.

Hopefully it wouldn’t be needed, but even then…

It would be nice to remember they aren’t alone.

Fable smp theories bc I'm totally and completely normal about it-

Spoiler warning for anything that happened in lore before/during the company outing streams! That's the point I'm caught up to lol

Let's talk about Wolfs mask first. I am almost certain that fixing the mask would make him human again. I assume that it wasn't originally supposed to be a curse, i could imagine that it was a gift either from Delta to Wolf or a gift from Vikesh to Wolf (but made by Delta at Vikeshs request). It might have been a thing that was supposed to help Wolf meet up with Vikesh by letting Wolf transform into a literal wolf to help him sneak away from the people around him unnoticed. I'm confused as to how the mask got into his and Centross bedroom considering the fact that he transformed down in the cave, but perhaps Centross brought it up after the fact in the hopes of somebody finding it? It was placed where the compass called "home" was placed originally. Anyway, the fact that the mask is now in Fables hands is terrifying and I'm scared of what he'll do with it.

Now, let's talk about Rae. Poor, poor Rae. He was so close to getting his hands on the broken mask but he couldn't bring himself to enter Wolfs and Centross room, not even to feed Hope. I'm sure he would've put two and two together pretty quickly. Now here's how I think the mask thing is gonna go. I think Fable and his squad will roll up to Raes house to demand that he willingly give up the soul shards. Ofc he's not gonna want to do that, which might result in a bit of fighting. And then Fable is gonna propose a trade. "If you cooperate and let me take the shards, I'll give you what you need to turn Wolf back to his human form." And I feel like Rae will be tempted at the very least. We've seen how desperate he is to get Wolf back. I'm not sure if he'd go through with it, but he'd definitely be very tempted. I'm also wondering how the shards being gone would affect his mind reading abilities? Bc I'm not sure if those are there bc he's Enderians child or bc he's her vessel or if its bc of the shard. Ig we shall see.

Also, regarding Centross, of course we don't know what he's the God of yet. I assume he's on the end court (would it still be called that if the court technically doesn't exist anymore?) because of the fact that Eperos was the one that helped him to ascent. He is almost certainly still able to manipulate objects in the overworld bc he was able to replace the book that was meant for Wolf with one that was meant for Icarus. That's why I assume that he also moved the mask (aka replaced the compass). I wonder to what extent he can manipulate things in the overworld.

Also, Len. Ven doesn't see him as a threat but if he learns about what Fable is doing I'm pretty certain that he's gonna side with Athena. That's a pretty significant threat in my opinion.

Now, the one and only Fable. I don't trust that guy. I never have and I never will. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt back when hed just gottten out of purgatory, but he proved to be just as bad as we thought it'd be. Although his intentions might be... I don't wanna say good but ig reasonable? I feel like he can't really be redeemed, not after everything he's done. Like he didn't even explain to Aurelius what his plans are or anything, he literally just killed her for no reason. Well technically there's probably a reason, I'm getting to that lol. I think Fable will kill every single god after he takes their immortality. After all, they might try to stop him from completing his plans. They are a threat to said plans. I believe that Aurelius will not be the only God that Fable kills through the remainder of the season. He might spare Rae, but only if he doesn't see him as a threat when he comes to take his shards. Same goes for Jamie and anyone else who has some sort of shard/godly power, so maybe also Easton, Momboo and Ocie? Which is quite concerning.

Finally, Arissanna. I feel like she's a wild card in all of this. If Rae and his group can figure out a way to reverse the vexing problem I feel like she'd absolutely side with them. If that doesn't happen I don't think she's gonna be loyal to anyone but herself. She might side with whichever side she thinks is stronger and change her alliance on a whim depending on what the others offer her. We shall see how her arc develops.
