okay SO it’s a karlnapity idea that i’ve had for ages and ages, basically karl is a medium, he talks to ghosts to learn about their life and how they died and hopefully help lay them to rest that way (he can also “time travel” by having extremely vivid visions of the past, but they always end with him dying the same way the ghost did— it terrifies him, but he believes he was given this gift for a reason). quackity’s a skeptic but contacts them through his coworker/best friend george because he thinks he’s being haunted by his ex husband, who he says died in an accident.* and the plot was going to be quackity getting closer with the cute guy who talks to ghosts and his hot boyfriend (and dream and george) and letting himself trust people again, while karl simultaneously learns about glatt’s life and what kind of a person he really was. and the two converge in the reveal that schlatt didn’t die accidentally, quackity pushed him down the stairs after a drunken fight where schlatt broke a bottle over his head and threatened to kill him. and idk how it ends i didn’t figure that out but i figured the epilogue would be several years later as dtk watch him graduate from law school ^__^

* as a side note, the backstory with schlackity is that they met when q was 19 and schlatt was late 20s/early 30s ish? they married eight months later and were married for just over a year, schlatt was a business owner and q was struggling to pay for law school so schlatt convinced him to drop out and help run the business under the promise that once it got going, he would help q get back in. which of course never happened— schlatt was a shitty business owner and q was the only one who kept it running, it had been about to go under when he died and q liquidated it to help pay off debts. schlatt’s been dead for six months at the time the story starts so q is now 22 and very embarrassed at being a 22 year old widowed dropout working at a coffee shop (or wherever he works idk it wasn’t set in stone)

anyway this is my little pet au i love it a lot and i’ve had it on the backburner (very far back) but realistically i will never write it for several reasons so it’ll just live in my head forever. also i was watching a lot of sam and colby when i came up with this idk if you can tell
