Stumbled across a high school friends blog and Twitter recently and she looks like she's doing well for herself and man it made me weirdly... nostalgic, but not for high school. Rather i felt this weird nostalgia for that feeling i had in high school of wanted to get to know her and a couple other people better. And like, i wish back then I'd taken more social risks and spent time with those folks in high school i thought were so cool and wanted to get to know better, but i cant make that bond now. We've both moved on, neither of us are those high schoolers who were friends but wanted to get to know each other better. Idk, it's a weird feeling i don't know how to elaborate on. But anyway I'm glad she's doing well (at least as far as an online presence can show how well someone is doing, obvs people do usually try and put their best foot forward on social media)
#i also definitely had a crush on her in high school#but so the big moment i remember#and we were friends through all high school so there's plenty of other little memories in my head too#but the one big one I'll never forget is i opened up to her about me feeling like i was strange for a way my brain worked#and she told me that everyone did that to some degree she thinks. and i... simultaneously felt a relief in that#and also felt even more embarrassed about just the mere prospect of opening up to anyone ever#we were just walking through the hall having run an errand after school for some project we were both working on#i think it was the prom outfits showcase fundraiser? doesn't matter what it was#and just that one hallway#and that one bit of our conversation#have been stuck in my memory for like 11 years now#also i have a photo of us at graduation which is a real nice photo#and we used to hang out with a little friend group in the graphics room before school started and that was fun#she and hannah would talk homestuck a lot during those days#and after high school i finally sat down and read a bunch of homestuck#and messaged her on Facebook when some kind of big hs news dropped saying id caught up and asking her opinion on the latest trailer or we#and she expressed she wasn't really into homestuck anymore and hadnt read it for awhile#and i had basically just read it to have an excuse to talk to her lmao#also her twitter bio said she was using she/her and he/him pronouns lately and like i stuck with just she here for simplicity but like#hell yeah dude. trans solidarity. i am glad he also found ways to be more comfortable in his body and presentation since high school#speaking of presentation from what Twitter scrolling i did her fashion game is on point. like real bowling alley in the 90s or clown vibes#love it#anyway i said my piece. im off to sleep way too late. hope y'all are sleeping well#eri blogs life

Tali, 30s, Canada. (she/her)
Name: Tali Nickname: T/Tee Country: Canada Birth year: 1991 Gender/Pronouns: Female (she/her) Multi?: Totally! I'd likely be more sane (and less broke) if I liked just one group, but I'd also be missing out on so much amazing music. So yeah, proud multi right there. Can I message you?: Of course! Whole reason I started this was to help fans connect with other fans. :) I'm always up for making new friends. Socials?: I used to have a Twitter once upon a time, but I never used it. For now, I'm pretty much just active here (on Tumblr), but if I get to talking with some of you and we hit it off, perhaps we can switch over to email or Kakao. (Not comfortable with just putting that information out for the masses, though. Safety first, guys. :D) Blog URL: kpopulr.tumblr.com
— Fan since: I don't know exactly how long it's been, but I was around the age of 14 when I first got into Korean music, and everything else just snowballed from there. xD First concert: BTS (2018) — Yes, been a fan of the music for nearly 2 decades, but I was late to the game with attending concerts. I just had no one to go with, and only one other fan who liked KPop so I never even considered bringing up going to one to my parents. I wish I had though, because there are a lot of groups that I probably/definitely won't get to see now. (With that said, groups barely come to Canada *now* so I highly doubt I would've had much luck with groups I liked coming back in the early 2000s.) First bias: I'm not 100% sure —because again, it was so long ago— but my guess is either BoA or GD (from Big Bang). If not either of those two, Miyavi. (He's a guitarist from Japan.) Song that got you hooked: Again, been so long, so... I don't know if this is for sure the song that got me, but I do remember watching it A TON when it first came out. I had been listening to Kpop before this point, but I feel like this was what really got me into looking into what other groups might be out there (and I wouldn't be surprised if this was around the time I got into liking 2NE1, too.) Specifically at the 24s point I remember watching over and over and over. (Big crush on BoA back in the day, I gotta say. xD)
youtube
Favourite music genre: I listen to literally everything, with the exception of country and classical. I just never really got into it (with the exception of Shania Twain when I was younger, because that was literally the only other type of music in the house apart from gospel, so it was kind of a 'which do I not like the least of these two' situation. haha. Because I'm so all over the map with my music tastes, it was very easy to get into liking music in other languages as well. I'm grateful to Youtube coming along and bringing it all to my attention. (Yes, I'm older than Youtube. What an old fart, eh? xD)
Latest concert attended: Eric Nam, about a week(ish) ago. It was my second time seeing him. Prior to that I attended a concert from Kingdom, and next up I'm going to be seeing D&E. (Majorly Donghae biased gal right there. I'm so excited, even though I don't have great seats.)
Girl groups or guy groups?: Well, I like both, but I certainly stan more of the guy groups. (If I had any friends interested in seeing the girl groups I like —*ahem* Mamamoo... *cough* Hwasa *ahem*— and if any of them would come to my country then I would be SO THERE, but I fear even if they did come I would have to go alone, and being the anxious, socially dysfunctional person that I am... I would not enjoy that experience (no matter how incredible the concert was.)
That's all I can think of at the moment, but as the database gets built up and other people start putting up their profiles, perhaps I can get more ideas of what questions to answer and I'll update my 'bio' more.

Good golly this ended up being longer than I expected. I started writing it to attach to a silly little mock-up I made of Lake’s Twitter account and it became a thing. Enjoy! :D
-
Lake sat in front of the Cosay family computer with the Twitter sign-up screen open. Jesse was behind them watching, at their request.
“So the e-mail address is easy, whatever, but what do I put for my username?” Lake pondered out loud.
“Oh I know!” Jesse said enthusiastically, then as he spoke he moved his hand through the air with a dramatic flair. “Your username should be Chrome Compatriot.”
Lake snorted and started typing again. “That’s terrible.”
“Well you don’t have to use it.”
“Nah, it’s too terrible not to use.”
Lake typed in their username and continued the rest of the signup process. Then they waited slightly impatiently for the confirmation e-mail.
“So do you know Tulip’s name on here?” Jesse asked.
“Of course, I was there when it was made.”
Jesse drummed his fingers on the back of Lake’s chair. “Are you nervous at all about contacting her?”
“That’s what you’re here for,” Lake said with a small smile. “Moral support. I’m more nervous about Tulip not believing me than anything.”
“You’ll just have to make it super obvious who you are then,” Jesse hummed in thought. “Like, make your icon a picture of yourself, and put in your description ‘hashtag no filter, hashtag, actually chrome’ just to make it extra clear.”
The confirmation e-mail arrived, Lake clicked on the provided link.
“I’m not putting hashtags in my profile. Tulip’s not stupid, just the picture will be enough.”
Lake started to edit their profile and hit another snag with their description.
“Jesse’s not wrong about making it obvious in my description,” Lake thought.
They tapped on a random key in thought. Pronouns, sure, that’s a given. Name, why not? Then it hit them.
“Lake, formerly MT,” Jesse read out what Lake quickly typed.
“I’ll remove the formerly part after I contact Tulip,” Lake said, then added more to their profile, nonbinary, she/they, and the most important part, “Free from The Train.”
“Ah smart,” Jesse chuckled. “‘The Train’ sounds so ominous though.”
“It kinda is if you think about it. This strange train that goes on forever, kidnapping people with personal problems.” Lake then scrolled though multiple pictures of themself to use as an icon. “Wow I look uncomfortable in all of these. I want Tulip to know I’m happy.”
“You’ll get better at having your picture taken,” Jesse watched the pictures fly by. “See, you’re actually smiling in this one you took by the lake.”
Lake took a closer look at the photo, seeing that they did look genuinely happy. It was taken right after Jesse’s dad gave them a cool old jacket of his. It was way too big on them of course.
Feeling satisfied with their new profile Lake saved all the changes and then started following a few accounts. Starting with Jesse. That way they seem more like a real person when they do contact Tulip.
“Thanks for helping me out with all this,” Lake said. “I think I’ll DM Tulip after I give my account a little life.”
“It’s no problem, good luck with the Tulip thing,” Jesse rubbed the back of his neck. “And if you want me to give you more moral support when you reach out. Just ask.”
Lake smiled as Jesse walked out of the room. They continued to do things on Twitter, and eventually made a change to their profile.
Blame @Jesse_Dracula for the username.
“I wonder how long it’ll take for him to see that,” they thought with a laugh.
Lake tweeted out a couple things, which they found pretty awkward. There wasn’t much to say. Freedom was great and all, but life in Jesse’s town hasn’t been extremely interesting for the average person. A reinforced bed frame was cool for Lake, but was it for anybody else? No.
Tweeting was definitely the biggest hurdle aside from contacting Tulip. Especially once Lake realized that her DMs were turned off for random people.
“Of course,” Lake said with a groan. “It’s like that by default.”
They agonized over what to tweet out to Tulip. A DM was private, a Tweet was not. “Hey, this is your former reflection. I got off the train.” Wouldn’t really work in a public setting.
“Recognize this face?” Would be kinda creepy.
Lake wondered if they sent Jesse out of the room too soon.
They bit the bullet and Tweeted to Tulip, “This is pretty weird, but not as weird as The Train. We know each other.”
Before Lake could even think too hard about what they typed they sent the Tweet.
“Too late to back out now.”
-
After coming home from a study session with Mikayla Tulip scrolled through her Twitter and saw two notifications. Which was a bit unusual, she didn’t have very many followers. One new notification was a strange Tweet from somebody who looked like they were made out of metal, the other was of them following her.
The Tweet mentioned “The Train” which really stood out to Tulip so she checked out the person’s profile.
Tumblr media
[image is of Lake’s Twitter profile]
A couple things interested Tulip, mainly this person having “formerly M.T.” in their bio, but also another mention of The Train.
Tulip laughed when she saw Lake’s most recent retweet, it was from the “Jesse_Dracula” mentioned in their bio.
“Hey! @ChromeCompatriot sounds cool you know, like a superhero”
Obviously those two were friends.
Tulip clicked on Lake’s profile picture to expand it and took a good look at their face. It became completely obvious that this was indeed her former reflection. Wow, what a change. They look happy.
So Tulip followed Lake back.
The DM was pretty much instant. Tulip had wanted to quickly grab a snack but clearly Lake was excited to talk.
Lake: I don’t know where to start! I guess, how are you?
Tulip: I’m good. Definitely didn’t expect to hear from you today.
Lake: Yea. Just figured we could catch up. Oh right. I can remove formerly M.T. from my profile now. I only had it so you knew who I am.
Tulip: Do you have a Discord too? We could voice chat and catch up that way.
Lake: I don’t have Discord. I could sign up later. Dinner’s soon so I can’t right now.
Tulip looked at her clock, it was already past 7PM.
Tulip: Where are you?
Lake: Arizona
Lake: I wasn’t really thinking when I messaged you. I can quickly type out what happened tho.
Tulip: Sure. And then I can update you.
It took a while for Lake to go over all the details, and Tulip wished that she was voice chatting with them because it sounded like an interesting story. Meeting Jesse, a deer with magic powers! Running from the flecs, a cult, One-One’s role as conductor.
Lake: And Jesse was so upset that he left the train without me that it picked him up again. One-One couldn’t figure out how to solve his problem since I couldn’t leave the train without a number.
Tulip: Really? So how’d you get off?
Lake: Simple. I reflected Jesse’s number on my hand.
Tulip: Good thinking
Lake: It’s so good to be free! Kind of boring tho. But whatever I need a little boring right now.
Lake: So what have you been up to?
“What have I been up to?” Tulip thought. “Oh wait, Lake didn’t see how I got off the train.”
Tulip: After I helped you out of The Chrome Car I went to a car that was a kids’ playground like they have at
“Hold on,” Tulip searched her memory. “Do those places even have mirrors?”
Tulip: Well it was a kids playground. You’ve never seen one. There was a stuffed rabbit named Khaki Bottoms and I had a break for a bit.
Tulip: Then “the conductor” showed up and tore the place apart.
Typing the part that came next proved hard for Tulip. It all worked out in the end, Atticus was turned back to normal. But...
So she decided to leave it out as she continued to go over what all Lake missed on the train.
Lake: Wow.
Lake: So an old lady kicked One-One out of the engine room.
Tulip: I wonder what she’s doing?
Lake: Don’t know. I just know about the Apex gang. I hope they run into her so they can smarten up.
Tulip: Right them.
The next reply took a while to show up. Tulip figured Lake was eating dinner.
Lake: A lot of them are little kids.
Lake: I hate them.
Lake: Anyway how’s life off the train going?
Tulip: My parents were really worried about me since I was gone for so long.
Tulip: They wouldn’t let me go anywhere alone.
Lake: Fair.
Tulip: Eventually I got to go to game design camp. It was great!
Lake: Cool
Tulip recalled how sick of programming Lake sounded so she decided to not go too into detail and bore them.
Tulip: School’s been school. It was nice being around people again.
Tulip: But I got sick of it really fast.
Lake: I’m going to school too.
Lake: It’s not terrible.
Tulip: You’re going to school??
The rest of the night was spend chatting about school and just general life stuff.
It was nice catching up.

&&introducing your character
[ marlon langeland. seventeen. he/him. ] EDWARD TONKS  has stepped through the barrier to platform 9 ¾. the SEVENTH  year HUFFLEPUFF  student is most looking forward to FEELING AT HOME AGAIN.. their peers describe HIM as ELEEMOSYNARY & FACETIOUS, and has dubbed HIM as the SOILED DOVE. TED  feels FORLORN  about the war raging outside of hogwarts plans to JOIN THE ORDER when the year is up.
&&aesthetic loud and echoing laughs, summer rains, late nights sitting in the dewy grass, watching fireworks light up the stars, goofing around and wrestling for fun, catching fireflies in mason jars, hair frizzing in the humid air, faces lit by lampposts and the moonlight, poofy and patterned duvets, spending all day wrapped up in the sheets, the smell of freshly cleaned clothes, sad songs played on low, tattered jeans caked with mud, sneakers with the soles falling out
&&bio
Ted Tonks, born with the full given and strictly biblical name Edward Michael Tonks, was born to a family who had three very cut and clean rules. For most of his life, at least the first eleven of them, he followed these rules without a hiccup. The first one was fairly simple; never bad mouth mom and dad, seeing as they feed and provide for you after all. The second was that everyone ate together as a family every other night, and that meant the whole family, including great-grandma and grandpa. The last was the trickiest being that it seemed to be about 100 rules in one. It, however, was the one that was the most unforgivable if broken, that being that it demanded that everyone in the family was to follow, without question, every word the bible said.
Though Ted’s family was fairly huge when you factored in cousins and such, it was mostly easy for him to follow these rules. Being the only child, he absolutely adored his parents and they somewhat adored him back. As a child he was always on his father's heels, begging to go to work with him in the summers and waiting by the front door for him to get home on school nights. The second rule, as well, was easy because he never questioned spending moments with his family and enjoying the good food that was always passed around. It was the third, however that stopped Ted in his tracks.
The way his mother was, it seemed like everything he did broke some rule. She’d snip at him for running in from the garden and dragging mud into the house, claiming that he’d broken some holy rule when really all he’d done was get a bit of dirt on the floor which was mind you, fairly easy to get up. He bit his lip and dealt with it, however.
When he turned eleven however, and it came time to go back to school, everything in his family dynamic shifted. He remembers distinctly the day when he got home from a friends house to his mother who looked like she’d never been more angry in her life. Without a word he fled to his room, not daring to pester her about what was for dinner or when his father was going to be home. Dinner time passed, and as he heard the typically clanking of forks and spoons he also heard bitter voices, speaking in hisses and whispers. Not sure what he’d done, he sat at his door, feeling guilty at every sound he heard as he picked at the dirt that was still smushed into his hands.
Eventually his mother explained to him that he had done something wicked, though refusing to explain, she allowed him to come down and eat his food which had already grown cold. The whole time he ate, he felt his father’s eyes from the living room watching every move he made and the way his mother stationed herself at the kitchen sink made her look like a hawk circling its prey. He finished and was led straight back up to his room, where his mother shoved a letter into his hand and left him to his own devices to figure it out.
During the week that led up to the date that had been so bitterly circled on the paper, Ted had been kept under the hawk eye of both his parents. They hushed him at dinner when he attempted to get answers about what the school was like and his father look down right offended when he asked when they were going to go get his supplies. On the day of departure, Ted was more than ready to leave and finally get answers on to why everything was so hush hush. He known he’d seen something about wizardry around the logo of the school’s letter, but he thought it was merely a joke or some sort of metaphor. Surely he wasn’t being sent to do magic, his mother always told him that it was evil and not real anyways.
Sure enough, only after a few minutes aboard the Hogwarts express did he really understand why his parents had been so quick to mute him and hide him away. Feeling awful, his first few months at school were awful. The kids laughed at him for not having the right supplies and wearing homemade robes that his mother had very obviously made with no care in the world.  Even after he finally was provided with the right things and fully grasped what Hogwarts was, not many seemed to even bat an eye in his direction. He learned, however, to make the laughing into background music and grew accustomed to the fact that both of the two worlds he belonged to would never fully see him as a member of their society.
&&some place magical
Ted has always adored the magical and home-y feel that hogwarts has given off. Though both parts of his life have it’s downsides, he finds hogwarts more of a home to him than his official “home” He adores the way the whole castle is detailed unlike his old shed-like house he grew up in. He was raised well off enough, but seeing as his family had a shared farming business, his parents never found it sensible to upgrade from their first home they’d ever gotten together. The house was fine, just bland. The walls were bare, the house was small, and felt more temporary than anything. It just felt like a home until they got a new one, like a halfway unpacked house.
The detail of the castle, the nooks and hidden halls and ornate paintings, all of it, captured his fascination. He never gets tired of roaming the halls, finding new places to stop for a quick moment of silence or a spot to do homework when his roomates get to loud.
&&anything else
Ted himself can be a bit opposite of his parents fuddy-duddy ways, and while this is a good thing, his childish like humor and attitude can get him into a bit of trouble at times. Its been with him since he was young. His mother was always on him for trekking mud through the house or spending too much in the yard and not inside studying. Now that he’s a bit more mature he knows better, yet his childish ways still sometimes get ahead of his conscious mind at times.
&&ted vs. tech
Ted is actually really well versed with technology and it’s ins and outs. Probably seeing as he grew up in the muggle world, he was used to always being surrounded to these devices and working with them from a young age. That and the only real way he connects with his father anymore is through their love for technology. His father, though his professional occupation is a lot more boring and repetitive, really enjoys messing with technology and figuring out how everything works. While Ted isnt THAT interested in the mechanics of it, he pretends to like it anyways. He’s more interested in the social media side of things.
That being said, Ted is a snapchat GOD and don’t you dare break your streak with him. He’s that bitch that sends streaks every HOUR to make sure none of them are broken and will give his password away to someone if he gets in trouble and has his phone taken.
He’s that person to put his phone on airplane mode as well while he reads dms. Rather be safe than sorry bc that way he can avoid whoever he wants :))))))
His twitter is also nothing but retweets from the account @garyfromteenmom
Want to see Ted go buck wild bananas? Literally play 1 second of goofy goober rock and he will be up and dancing faster than you can turn it off

So, here’s a recap of the entire situation
From start to finish.
Because, believe me, I had no idea my ban would lead to 2 other completely innocent people getting banned for, essentially, asking staff what happened, and then expressing the desire to talk to them about it.
Not exaggerating.
On May 5th 2017, my Extremely Straight mom was being pushy, asking me about my OCs. For those unaware, the OCs in question are:
A nonwhite nonbinary aromantic bisexual with ASPD
A nonwhite asexual whose romantic orientation is a hashtag Mess, who has depression, anxiety, OCD, and is autistic
The above OCs are in a queerplatonic relationship
(This is important, I promise)
So after escaping to my laptop, I go on Quixol to try and decompress, and start off by expressing my general exhaustion and discomfort. A reasonable person who is part of the staff of a LGBT+ & ND safe server would, hopefully, take that as a disclaimer that I had been through Garbage, and had no energy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So after having to literally physically escape an uncomfortable discussion with my mom, and after literally telling chat about the situation, I’m directly concern-trolled for calling my queerplatonic OCs, ‘queer’?
Once?
When there’s a perfectly serviceable blacklist on this very server?
Tumblr media
(Minor note: I’m aware that Blake’s pronouns are it/its, however, I had typoed ‘pals’ into ‘pal’ & I apologize for that small misunderstanding)
So anyways, that sucked, and dealing with everything that happened that afternoon had destroyed my energy for a week. Clearly staff had made their stance clear, even if I didn’t agree with it.
I decided not to use ‘queer’ on that server, or at the very least not towards anyone who 1) wasn’t queer, and 2) might give me shit for even saying that word, even if I’m not mislabeling anyone. Such as, the staff.
So, I don’t use it.
Flash forward to late November of 2017.
I’m on my twitter, tweeting tweets, which are mostly meant for me, because it’s my gotdamn twitter account. I tweet a lot of junk, RT a lot of fandom garbage, and sometimes, when something triggers me, I try to unpack my abuse.
I’d like to make it clear right now that I never listed my twitter under my Bio (or at the very least, had never intended to. I don’t remember whether or not I put it there, and if I did, my mistake) and have only given my twitter url out once. The only connection my twitter had to Quixol was by following the Quixol twitter.
Over the course of a few weeks I tweeted out some ~*spicy*~ Opinions, which, you’re free to disagree with me about, especially since it’s fucking twitter, which has a character limit, so a lot of my word choice had to be downsized to fit in a fuckin 280 character text box.
On top of that I’m not even a Public LGBTQ+ Wank Persona, so I had no incentive to hash things out step-by-step to my... 10 followers. By all accounts, my tweets are, by their very nature, inconsequential to anyone except my followers.
(My account was not locked at the time, but I understandably later did so)
Anyways, in order:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one was pretty clearly about Quixol, but I should probably state for the record that I had no idea ‘queer’ in MANY DIFFERENT ITERATIONS had been exhaustively banned from signs, so I had no idea it wasn’t physically possible to properly spell out ‘genderqueer’ without censoring it in some fashion.
Tumblr media
Anyways, continuing with my ~*spicy opinions*~
Tumblr media
I mentioned before how I was essentially abused by people I trusted for not being acceptably gay. I don’t know how ‘I’m not gay and I don’t need to be, I’m happy with being aro ace’ is a statement so vile that gay people everywhere take immense offense to it, to the point where staff finds it a bannable offense...
By the way, yes, I did get banned for these.
Because days after I was banned, staff approached Vin about my banning, of their own volition.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the end of the day, Vin had planned to write out an essay, so that they could have a reasonable discussion with staff.
I wasn’t too Thrilled at the prospect of trying to have a discussion with people who intentionally villainized me, took my words out of context, and made the worst possible interpretations out of them, but I supported Vin’s idea.
However, she was in the middle of college finals, and preparing for chanukkah, so she couldn’t get right back around to it for another week.
Note that at this point Vin had not been contacted by staff due to her own behavior, past actions, without even a mention of her tumblr or its content.
THIS IS EXTREMELY CRUCIAL INFORMATION.
IF THEY HAD REASON TO BAN VIN FOR ANYTHING, WHY DID THEY CONTACT VIN ABOUT MY BAN FIRST?
But anyways, let’s cut to 8 days later, because I certainly couldn’t log into Quixol and subsequently do anything.
And in that time, neither could Vin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wasn’t surprised at this point. Staff had made it plain and clear to me that if they had a mild enough reason to ban you, they’ll find whatever evidence they need in order to finalize it.
Tumblr media
FOUR POSTS, YALL. FOUR POSTS AND SHE GOES FROM ‘ONE OF THE MOST ACTIVE AND BELOVED COMMUNITY MEMBERS’ TO ‘A BONA FIDE THREAT TO PEOPLE ON QUIXOL, WORTH BANNING.’
The four posts in question will be linked later, for now, continuing:
Tumblr media
So... it’s not actually about protecting people on the server, it’s about... finding people that agree with your particular flavor of “LGBT+” politics?
R...really?
Where is the actual harm that Vin has done on the server to warrant being banned?
Shit, what about me? What tangible, material harm did my tweets, squirreled away on my own separate twitter, that no one follows me on, do to anyone on the server?
Anyways it doesn’t end here, because in this chain of bullshit, someone else went down trying to ask staff “why for the love of god did you ban Vin?”
Screenshots (Warning, it’s 65 pages long)
All four posts that Vin was banned over are included as well.
But if you’re interested in my personal highlight reel:
Tumblr media
ah yes, a non-ace trans woman trying to silence anyone who casts doubt on her decisions to silence queer ace people for having experienced abuse similar to hers, because that’s not some top-tier oppression olympics ‘my pain outweighs yours’ b.s.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
remember that time staff literally approached vin of their own volition with screenshots of my tweets at the ready, trying to grill vin about my tweets and whether or not she agreed with them?
where’d that go?
did they suddenly get tired of it after being confronted with other, perfectly average Quixol users, suddenly also questioning their decisions against their will?
Tumblr media
funny how vin got to have a discussion about her posts. wonder why they didn’t ever contact me except to ban me
Tumblr media Tumblr media
so one of the posts was barely incriminating, but the staff decided to use it against her AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL TEST, and then decided to use it decisively against her after she didn’t give the reaction they wanted from her (again, they mention it as one of the 4 posts she was banned over)
Tumblr media
THIS WOULD BE PERFECTLY REASONABLE IF THEY HADN’T BEEN LITERALLY SEARCHING THROUGH HER TUMBLR, DIGGING UP POSTS FROM UP TO TWO YEARS AGO
IT WOULD ALSO BE REASONABLE IF:
I HAD ACTUALLY PUT MY TWITTER URL IN MY BIO, WHICH I’M PRETTY SURE I DID NOT
I HADN’T BEEN BANNED NOT TWO WEEKS AGO FOR EXISTING ADJACENT TO QUIXOL, BARELY IF EVER MENTIONING IT ON TWITTER, NEVER LINKING IT FROM THE SERVER, WHO THE HELL WAS SEARCHING THROUGH MY TWITTER, AND WHY DIDN’T BEAN EVEN MENTION DEFENDING MY RIGHT TO HAVE A SEPARATE TWITTER THAT WAS NOT PUBLICLY LINKED TO QUIXOL!? WHAT!?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
glad to know the rest of the staff also goes full tilt on oppression olympics
Tumblr media
still waiting on the part where vin actually said something transmisogynistic or otherwise materially harmful to someone on the server
Tumblr media
oh no!! vivian just called a lesbian trans woman transmisogynistic!! clearly if this is the game staff wants to play that means they all needs to either agree to disagree, or realize that peoples’ experiences differ from theirs, and are not something to be weaponized in order to silence people that you disagree with!! what a world!!

tfw staff tokenize themselves before they even make the slightest movement towards ‘people have different experiences besides the ones i have/know about, but we are all here and we should work together and support each other’
are they even really a real LGBT+ server
Tumblr media
very clear, very clear distinction here... somewhere? weren’t they just saying that they’re not the same things? so they overlap but are different? uh... and...???
Tumblr media
i don’t have a word for ‘white trans women that try to weaponize the transmisogyny that overwhelmingly nonwhite twoc experience in order to silence anyone who questions her ~*authority*~ despite the fact that there is no universal ‘trans woman experience’ that anyone can hold her as an authority AS’...
this is literally the kind of weaponized-suffering authoritarianism people talk about when they deconstruct neoliberalism and ‘oppression olympics’ and the staff all seem to be very involved in it
gee whiz, im no longer wondering why i, a queer aro ace, was banned
Tumblr media
bean weaponizing his aceness as the staff’s ‘authority’ on ace matters, instead of, yanno, understanding that vin has had her own experiences, that are different, which leads her to take different stances
especially since bean himself admits he hasn’t faced any problems due to his aceness
lucky him, i guess
Tumblr media
“this is the first time we’ve had to really make a ban based on evidence that was off quixol”
fuck you in particular
my tweets weren’t for you or anyone else on Quixol
you and the rest of the staff decided to ban me anyways
and now that you snatched vin in your chain-ban and you have a lot of people who are QUESTIONING YOUR DECISIONS you try and act sympathetic?
if people are reacting like this, and the evidence wasn’t even on the server, why even ban someone?
if you intend to heavily police Quixol users you should maybe fucking say so
that way no one’s suprised
i have intense paranoia issues and the entire fact that YALL WERE STALKING MY TWITTER hasn’t helped in the least
literally here are tweets i made in the same timeframe as my ~*banned tweets*~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like you claim to be protecting users, despite the fact that no one on the server was harmed
and you claim to be inclusive, despite the fact that you silence queer people at every turn
and you claim to be safe for ND people, while causing them anxiety and paranoia
literally what do you even stand for at this point
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"we are all trans? we are all gay?”
yeah? and?
you still closet the hell out of queer people?
especially queer people with identities you don’t like?
queer people who literally use the word to describe their OCs in plural since they are neither gay nor trans?
you literally wouldn’t let me use the word ‘queer’ to describe my OCs?
hhhhhhhhhhhhh
Tumblr media
oh no!!! queer people exist online
seriously is this an LGBT+ server or some kind of fundie christian camp
also, get a load of all of the 0 times vin and i have called anyone queer without their consent, seeing as the first and only time I used it, i got scolded by staff for it
Tumblr media
funny story. as soon as I read this screen i knew why I was actually, really banned
way back up at the top of this post, when i had confronted Blake about the fact that I had just called my OCs ‘queer’
and was told ‘be careful, don’t use that word on people who don’t want it applied to them’
i had already been mislabeled as ‘gay’ numerous times on the server itself, which was triggering for me
after bringing up that particular grievance with staff, using almost the exact same wording as Fritjof, i decided to blacklist ‘gay’ so that i wouldn’t guilt gay people into hiding it from others, while protecting myself
very interesting that the staff doesn’t have the same attitude towards people being able to protect themselves from ‘queer’
it’s almost like the censoring of queer is not for the sake of protecting users... but instead...
Tumblr media
Just so we make this clear, ‘queer’ which staff defines as being ‘gay and trans’ (but not queer itself for some reason?) is equivalent to:
triggering thing that must be blacklisted (that’s why the blacklist exists)
nsfw chats in global
literally how do yall say ‘queer means gay and trans’ and equate its use with ‘nsfw’
again... is this an LGBT+ server... or a conservative christian summer camp...
Tumblr media
it feels almost... indistinguishable...
yes, that is the admin of an ND & LGBT+ server using the same ‘real world’ rhetoric that anti sj bigots and conservatives make
interestingly enough, it’s also common among bigots in the LGBT community, such as truscum, aphobes, and queerphobes, towards anyone with a ‘special snowflake’ identity that they don’t particularly like or are interested in including
but an ace man can never be acephobic right? he’s an authority on ace issues after all, and so all aces must have his same experiences

pedophilia?? gee whiz i wonder what that post Vin reblogged about ‘people accusing others of pedophilia that weren’t actually pedophilia’ was about. surely it wasn’t about staff, right?
so, recap of bannable offenses here on Quixol Dot Corn:
Have a public twitter, where you tweet opinions that staff disagrees with
Be friends with the above person who was banned, and when you don’t say anything banworthy when they confront you, have a tumblr account with enough questionable posts for them to construct a banworthy offense
Once both of the above have been banned, ask staff about their decisions, and then try to reasonably discuss their ongoing queerphobia
So anyways, if you’re wondering where Zeetheus, Vin_Venture, and Fritjof42 went... that’s pretty much what happened!
Staff has zero intent on protecting their userbase, just policing the hell out of their opinions, to the point where off-Quixol content is considered a bannable offense, and if staff hasn’t made that clear to anyone, I hope this post does.
Queer people are not safe on Quixol
Unacceptably ace people are not safe on Quixol
The vast majority of people under the LGBT+ umbrella that don’t fit under ‘gay and trans’ are not safe on Quixol
People with anxiety, who have experienced stalking paranoia are not safe on Quixol
