Watch Dogs Headcanons - Animal Quirks/ Symbolisms.

Feels like I'm writting a newspaper but nah, just more delulu Aiza journal 😭

Anyways!! Remember when I said I had Headcanons of giving my fav characters animal refs/ symbolisms? Well... Decided to do that today! 🥳

So lemme start with the list! First gonna do with some of the characters from WD1 that got most of my attention/ are more well-known. ( PS: trigger warning for people with Arachnophobia when arriving at Clara's part? Is right under Aiden's, skip if you so wish)

Aiden Pearce - Gray Fox. (Urocyon cinereoargenteus)

Ok, this one is basically common knowledge since we all know that's where his damn nickname comes from lol.

Aiden has a lot of paralels with Gray Foxes, from the round faces, to climbing skills to hunting abilities!

Foxes in general represents Cunniness, Witt, a Sharp Mind and a Dubious Morality with it's Trickstery Nature. However, Gray Foxes represent neutrality, a symbol of maturity, but also sadness and indecisiveness... That sounds familiar, does it? It fits Aiden's description awfully well!

For my HC of his mannerism:

- When Aiden was younger, he used to climb trees all the time back at Belfast. His mom used to yell at him afraid he would fall. ( Wich he did. A lot actually.)

- Like a fox, he has great hearing, detecting easily when people are approaching by.

- He loves fruit (He likes Strawberry Shortcake and Banana Cake) and meat! Although he rarely has time to cook for himself and relies heavily on fast food, he is an enjoyer of chicken and hare meats!

- When Aiden manages to sleep without stress (in very rare occasions), he tend to sleep curled up under his sheets without noticing.

- He has a strong smell. When not because of his constant exercises running after criminals, is because of his wooden deodorant + his trench coat of leather. lol

(Like even after showering, his smell is not bad, just strong than usual.)

- His face is secretly very sensible. If he shaves his face and gets touched their somehow, he'll shiver and recoil bc that's a VERY sensitive face. Even with his stubbles, he can easily feel the texture and touch of someone on his cheeks, like a fox with it's whiskers. 🥺

Clara Lille - Trapdoor Spider! (Liphistius malayanus)

This one is also, once again, common knowledge! I mean, she's called like that in game- lol

Our dear Badboy17, the tattoo girlboss herself, it's pretty obvious where the spider parallels go with Clara: Her lethality, how she work in the dark, carefully using the web in her favor... But is there more to it? 🤔

Spiders represent the Resilience, Unseen Danger and the Connectedness.

All those meanings fit Clara perfect: She's connected to many things, Aiden, the Club, Dedsec... She works in the dark corners, weaving her web of connections and the benefits she can get of it. Similarly, she is an unseen danger, a person that can discover everything about others without them even suspecting, and using that against them... But she's also Resilient. Despite her connections and actions, she weaved her own path to redemption on helping Aiden, to try to fix her mistake and make amends for her past actions... And much like a spider, she was easily killed, because while Spiders are easy to disappear from our sight, people won't think twice about killing them if they're considered a "threat" to them...

For my HC of her mannerisms:

- Clara is excelent with handscraft: Eletronics, Art, Sewing... She's great at anything that requires hand work since she's very precise and perfectionist.

- She's into Urban Exploration! She loves to find dark, abandoned and hidden places left in urban areas, specially if they have some connection to Blume as a bonus.

- One of her favorite foods is Sushi! Is quick, pratical and she just like fishes. (One of Trapdoor Spiders prey 🥰)

- Is not afraid of insects but doesn't like them at all, will either kill or try to take them away from the place, if the insect is harmless.

- Clara has pretty good instinct, mostly reflex in near-body combat, but she rarely displays them since she rarely needs to fight someone nowdays or is caught offguard by gunned opponents.

- She is a solitary person, in the sense that she stays hidden in her little corner and rarely gets out with others, aside for working at the tatto studio she works on. :')

Jordi Chin - Korat Cat. (Felis Catus)

This one was suggested by @paul-poppy-art but I think everyone here agrees Jordi gives major cat energy. XD

Our favorite Fixer is funny, odd and sarcastic lovable sociopathic asshole and we all know it, but saying out loud, that does fit the description of a cat! 😂

Cats are hunters, and their symbolism is mostly tied to Indenpendence, Inteligence and Mystery, this fits Jordi perfect.

A man that works indenpendely, his only criteria is who pays more, wich will be more advanteging to him. An Inteligent and calculative killer that always has a plan in mind and a mysterious person whose' past we know nothing about! Still, he stays by Aiden's side and display his affection in a more non-verbal way (like a cat lol)

For my HC of his mannerisms:

- He has a pretty light walking, you can't hear him comming behind you... Wich is either very dangerous or annoying, depending on your situation.

- Jordi is incredibly sensitive to his surroundings and always knows what is happening around him. You can't surprise him, you simply can't.

- When not working, he tends to stay layed down or sit a lot, like a "big lazy cat". lol

- Is a clean freak. Likes to keep all his work and himself the most well-presented her can. He absolutely despite Aiden's lack of self-care. 😭

- Has extremily good reflexes and flexibility, if he gets to you, you're Fcked. (proof is at WD2)

- Is not a verbal type of guy to express his feelings, but more of the type of doing small gestures to the people he cares for. He brings them food as one of his love languages.

(Kinda like when a cat brings a bird at home to "feed their human". lol)

T-Bone Grady - Bearded Collie Dog. (Canis Lupus Familiaris)

Now is turn for the legendary Hacker Dilf himself!! 🥳

Honestly T-Bone was both easy and hard because well... His name. XD

I struggled a Lot with what race he could be, but looking a bit up, I think Bearded Collie would fit like a glove! For his character design, mostly. 😂

Dogs symbolism is tied to Loyalty, Fidelity, Alertness and Protection.

We see this a lot on T-Bone, he won't hesitate to attack to defend himself, although to his friend's he's loyal and always watch over them and their safety.

(Him trying to reach Aiden to alert him in the Bad Blood DLC) and of course, him always being in alert for Fixers after him.

My personal HCs for his mannerisms:

- Will occasionally pace around or throw/ destruct somethings if too stressed.

- Spend a lot of time on his hair and beared, and tends to let some hair strings behind.

(like a true big furred dog lol)

- Like the Bearded Collie breed, T-Bone doesn't usually "bark", he bites first.

- Can't really stay inside for too long, gets easily bored and just generally hates being idly by.

- Is curious and enjoys a challenge, this old a-hole will take anything to unlock areas/ information that no one else has access to.

- Will always be around the people he cares for, like, physically. He follows/ stays around his friends like a dog with his owner. 😭

Nicole Anne Pearce - Bumblebee. (Bombus)

HEAR ME OUT OK? The patterns on her shirt and her color palette reminded me so much of a Bumblebee! 😭

They're so chonky and floofy! Tell me Nicky ain't cute like them? 🥺🥹

Bumblebees symbolises Hardwork, Productivity, New Beginings and the Importance of a Community! I think those describes Nicole very well!

She's a hard-working single mother providing for her child(ren), her job as an Event Planner reminds me of the systematic work system of bees! Her community (family) is extremily important to her and she fought for their best... Unfortunetly, she had to re-start her life after everything that happened in WD, so all the animal symbolisms fit her character very well. :')

My personal HC for her mannerisms:

- She has the habit of "hum" while working, doing chores or running errands.

(Like the buzz of a bee lol)

-Nicky loves flowers but she doesn't have a garden since she rarely has time to dedicate to it. :')

-She loves honey! And she used to eat a lot of honey-made when she was a kid! 🥰

- Woman can't stay still, she's always moving around trying to do things: Chores, return calls, etc. Aiden used o joke she was "too much of a busy bee".

- She has a pretty characteristic floral smell. Almost all her house smell likes a garden, always with a floral hint in the air.

(Aiden used to find it comforting whenever he visited her and the kids.)

And that's it for today!! There are still missing some other characters from WD1 I still wanted to correlate to animal symbolisms, but this already long af 🥲

Oh my flipping gods he is finally done, it has taken me ages even though most of him has been done for like forever I have just been really bad at finishing the last parts of this ref which was what he wears underneath his coat xD but now it’s done and I can finally properly reveal this boy!

So, months ago now I decided I wanted to try my own take on Storyshift Papyrus, because I wanted to do some shipping etc, but then he evolved so much into his own thing and I came up with a bunch of stuff that doesn’t happen in canon, add into that the original creator also do not want ppl to do their own take on the au, which I hadn’t planned on doing just wanted to do the skelebros, but then I came up with stuff for all the others as well and BAM! New au which got nothing to do with Storyshift at all, only similarity is that the skelebros got like the same roles etc otherwise it’s completely different :D

This au is me putting the various characters in different roles while doing my best to keep their original personalities intact, so for example we got Papyrus in Toriel’s role and Sans in Asgore’s, but they are still very much like themselves just with some minor changes due for their different lives and how things have affected them differently, but still been as close to their original self as I can get them to be ye <: info about the au proper will be posted some day, got like a long ass summary of it as I do not know if I will actually do something with it or not, tho I can tell ya that this au will mostly focus on Pop here ye, as there is a reason why I first called this au “how much can I hurt Papyrus” au xD

But anyway, let’s focus back onto Pop! Pop is still very much like Papyrus is, a bit hyper, pretty intense, very compassionate and merciful etc, but he is much, much older than Papyrus is, Pop is literally 1733 years old he has lived for a long, long while, so he is a bit more mature, a bit calmer, not as socially inept as Papyrus is as he has grown up as a prince he knows how to interact with ppl etc and also he is filled with so much fucking grief as Pop has lost many, many close people to him throughout the years which has and is taking a srs toll on him. But he is still very positive, believes that what he is doing is right, even though he is so seriously tired and grief struck it could kill him if he let it take him over, but yeah that’s that for now yeah on him

Anyway, kinda happy with how this turned out, it was like a test to see if I should do stuff like this when i do refs and I’m not sure I will, like yes it went faster but it also like look worse in a way to me xD but I am very proud of his outfit, that @insanelyadd helped me come up with as I needed help in getting it to look less how storyshift papyrus look like, and they did such a great job and I am forever grateful to them for it ❤ I also tried to keep his colour scheme as close to his original that I can, but anyway yeah overall like how it turned out, it was nice to try to figure out linearting once more even tho I’m not really happy with it xD

The steps to hear God's voice

In the last 8 years, every day that I wake up, I am in a constant state of grace and gratefulness.

I remember when I had hit rock bottom yet again and I realized that I had to give it all over to God. I realized that I could not do this on my own, it was too big for me to handle, I needed help, big help, I needed his help.

Now, when I talk about God and that this is my walk, you may or may not believe in the God that I do and that's fine. It's about whatever gets you through your day, if it works for you then it's good for you.

But this is what got me through my dark times, this is who I believed in to help change my life. See I had to learn that I needed to let go. I also learned that I only needed to look at the positive, and learn to be grateful for even the smallest things. Before becoming grateful for everything, I had to learn that I also needed to cut out negative people from my life, and I needed to forgive others but most importantly to forgive myself.

Yes, there are steps to get you where you want to go, and you ask will it be easy? Oh, you know that I won't lie to you….No, it's going to be hard as hell especially the part of forgiveness, when you will never get an apology yet still have to forgive and let go. I'm sorry I don't sugar coat anything. It will be hard, and you may be stuck at a few steps along the way but when you finally get there, to that place of peace and joy, it will be amazing!

So if your looking to start this journey here here are some questions to start with:

Do you only see the negative in life?

Is your entire faith walk driven by your senses?

Do you have to see it? Do you have to touch it for it to be true?

Faith is the belief in things unseen...

So if you want to know what worked for me here are the three steps that taught me to hear God's voice.

1- You must submit yourself to him.

He doesn't force you to want to hear him but he is there, he is waiting for you, if you seek him out. If you ask him for help, if you turn your life and your troubles to him.

2-Read and apply his word to your life.

Yes, we are all human and God knows how many times I have screwed up, but I keep trying to be better, I keep trying to apply his word to everything I do. I keep reading and listening to his voice because I make a decision. Since it is clearly obvious that my choices didn't work out so great.

3-Be spirit driven.

Always feel the spirit in you, it will tell what is right and wrong, it will guide you, it will fill your soul with peace and joy.

Last year I decided that my motto would be:

Where he leads me I will follow….

I know that he gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.

Even if I didn't want them, he thinks I can handle them, so I will take them on.

That's it, I will not ask questions, I will not complain even if it was not what I wanted or prayed for. Whatever comes I will be grateful, I will give praise, I will not worry, it is not my will, it is his, I let it all go.

I decided I was not going to have an

I obviously have made some really messed up decisions on my own, so I was going to quit and let him make them for me. And I have never had so much peace and joy as I have felt this year. Even through the pandemic, even though I had hardly any money coming in, even though I walked away from the love of my life. Even though I was struggling to help my daughter, who was battling depression. Even when the whole world had gone crazy and people you knew and loved were dying, I held on even tighter to God and his word.

This is what got me through, what continues to get me through, the many more setbacks I had this year with my arm surgery, my even more loss of income and my own depression I battled through, I hung on to that tiny mustard seed of faith and knew that he would take care of me.

Seriously what else can we do? I remember not eating, sleepless nights, being so overwhelmed trying to figure it all out. I remember my anxiety, my hair falling out and did that change anything in my circumstances? No, not one dam bit but God did. He taught me to trust him, to be calm, to give him all my problems and then just be, knowing he will handle them. Maybe not in the way I would or in my time frame but I knew it shall be done.

So today my friends I am here to tell you that this is my journey and how I got here. These are the steps and if it works for you great, if you got there another way, also great as long as each and every day you feel like you're living in a state of grace and gratitude, it is then you will know that you have found God's voice.

REC Watches Creates Limited Edition P-51 RTR Watch

We first learned of REC Watches about two years ago when we got wind of their Kickstarter campaign to bring a new line of watches to market, dubbed the P-51. The P-51 would be added to REC’s line of timepieces built from recycled automobile parts. The P-51 not only reached its funding goal, it practically doubled it! The P-51 was born and has seen great success (you can read more about the original P-51 HERE).

While REC has moved on to its latest series, the 901 (based off of Porsche 911 bits), the folks at REC recently had an opportunity to bring the P-51, which admittedly is aimed squarely at the classic Mustang crowd with its styling, to late-model Mustang fans with a partnership with Formula Drift champ and self-proclaimed “professional fun-haver” Vaughn Gittin Jr. The P-51 RTR Limited Edition. REC, which uses the tagline Recover, Recycle, Reclaim, will offer just 350 P-51 RTR watches, and just like the original P-51, each timepiece will be unique on to its own utilizing aluminum and carbon fiber from Vaughn’s Monster Energy Nitto Tire Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-D Formula Drift ride! Peep the photos for more info on all the trick details that go into the P-51 RTR, and if your budget allows we strongly suggest picking one up. You won’t regret it!

Vaughn worked closely with the REC Watches people to design a unique timepiece. Here Vaughn showcases an early pre-production unit at a Formula Drift event.

The P-51 RTR’s dial is made from carbon fiber from Vaughn’s RTR Spec 5-D drift Mustang and has visible wear and tear, scrapes, etc. making each dial unique. The bright green hands reflect the colors found on Vaughn’s Mustang. The bezel is made from carbon and aluminum forged together for a unique look. The aluminum comes from the steering system on Vaughn’s RTR Mustang.

On the rear of the watch case you’ll find the serial number of each numbered watch (limited to 350 units) along with the watch rotor that simulates the HRE wheels found on Vaughn’s drift Mustang. A subtle touch on each side is the texturing that resembles the custom front grille on Vaughn’s 900 hp RTR drift Mustang.

On the right side of the watch you will find the iconic S550 three element taillights, just like those on Vaughn’s Mustang. The screw down crown features the REC logo.

On the left side is a simulated RTR grille feature, including bright green highlighted vents to replicate the LED lights found on Vaughn’s RTR drift Mustang. In the center rests the RTR logo.

The included calf leather strap also displays subtle features such as the Roman numerals for twenty five (XXV), which is Vaughn’s competition number. Vaughn uses the Roman numerals on his car and merchandise. The bright green stitching and RTR logo really set the strap off as well

Learning your worth If you read my blogs you know that I have changed my whole life, I now have an amazing life. I own my own business, my own home, I have 2 wonderful girls who are both in college. I have a amazing church and church family, I am blessed with many friends and family. It seems as if I have it all...but I've been unlucky in love. Maybe not so much unlucky but I have definitely picked the wrong men over and over again. After this last relationship I vowed that I refused to pick another loser, another controlling, narcissistic, self centered, fucked up, commitment phobia man. Every time I said I pick losers, I stopped and said I use to pick losers, I changed my way of thinking so much so that I didn't even want to put it out there in the universe. Now you know if you read my blogs that I don't sugar coat shit, I will always be real about my feelings, so when I tell you this has not been easy. My friends can tell you the broken record I have been about saying "I am done with him, this is the last time he will treat me like this" Hell they probably mouth my words back to me on the other end of the phone, they heard it so much. Yet, I realize with the help of many friends saying "Don't you know your self worth? You are an amazing women with so much to give, why do you put up with crappie men?" That yes, I do this and I also realize that it has to do with my self esteem or lack there of. As much as I've grown and changed this is the hardest part of my change. This is were I stumbled again and again. Letting this smuck or that loser treat me less than, use me and make me cry. I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason, maybe I am slow, okay...I am slow and need this lesson over and over until I get it right. Recently I met someone, he's kind and sweet, he's a gentleman, he opens doors, texts me good morning, how's your day, I'm thinking of you and good night texts. He wants to spend time with me, even changing his schedule to do so. He asked to take me to the airport just so he could say goodbye to me (And same time last year, the man I was seeing said when I texted him I had no ride home and I quote "That sucks") He was there to pick me up because he said he missed me and couldn't wait to see me. He does and says the nicest things, yet I am questioning all of it. Thinking he's too good to be true, when is the other shoe going to drop? I say "Why are you so nice? Or where did you come from?" I cry when he tells me nice things and his response is "All guys are like this, this is normal" Maybe in my Tinker bell world all guys are like this but in the real world guys are putz's, with their own agenda, who send unwanted dick pics to you. Hello! What world are you living in? Sure as hell not mine! No, every nice thing I question, I am scared, I'm not use to a man treating me good. Just saying that out loud makes my heart break, how sad is that? I know I'm a good women, I know I have alot to bring to the table and when I meet a man who is willing to bring more to the table than just his dick, I questioned his every motive. I don't want to be like so many other women out there that say all men suck. I know there are good men out there, I have plenty of friends who are great men, my dad's were great men, my family friend was a great man, so I know they are out there. Yet when I meet one, I question him, I tell him I can't believe all the nice things he does and says. I know this is my issue I must get pass, I am learning through him that I deserve to be treated like the queen I am (his words) that the other men were idiots to have let me go or treat me less than I deserve (again his words) Slowly I am looking back at what I put up with and thinking what the hell? Why? They were so not worthy of me and all I had to give. Slowly I am learning that I deserve a great man, that treats me good, that does the right thing without me having to tell him what it is over and over again. A man who doesn't have to be told anything, but already knows how to be a real man. I don't have a crystal ball to see whether or not this will last a week, a month or a lifetime, but I do know that right now, this is the lesson I need to learn. This is the man God put in my life to teach me my self worth, to let me know I am worthy and I should never take less than. I am going along with the flow, I am learning to trust his words but more so his actions towards me. So today my friends, remember you need to learn your self worth, you need lessons maybe many like me, to be able to see ypur pattern and then to break it. You need to change your mindset, stop putting it out there, stop excepting less, stop letting no good men in, when there is a king out there waiting to treat you like the queen you are. So come with me on this journey, let's change our ways, because it's all about learning your worth.
