Askfjlfs before i forget to post this!! My long [by my standards] post about Chase Davenport

1. BABY god i love him. His stupid fucking hair and his stupid little ego and i mean all of this in a loving way when i say he causes me SO MUCH 2nd hand embarrassment

2. Speaking of second-hand embarrassment, it's a wonder Chase's ego is still inflated despite the many times he's been humiliated and betrayed in the show

3. He has almost died SO MANY times. The amount of PTSD this nerd can hold in his little body. Astounding

4. Douglas is the father he needs and not Davenport. I could expand on this and you know what? I will if someone asks and if I feel like people won't laugh at me

5. Him and Leo? Solid brotherly relationship. Him and Adam? Ehhhhhh. *Alan from Mighty Med voice* I don't like it

6. In fact, his relationship with everyone who doesn't think it's normal for Adam and Bree to pick on him so much!! Leo, Tasha, Douglas, all amazing! People he can feel safe around!!!

7. HE NEEDS FRIENDS. What is it with this show and not letting him have friends?? I get that its probably a joke or smth about how people only use him for something they want- because he's a nerd/desperate but. The impact it must have on him when all his friends have stabbed him in the back. Horrible

7.1. Not that I'm complaining it makes it easier to write angst fic about him but seriously. At least one friend, please?

8. The amount we can angst him is astronomical! His near death experiences, his unsolicited isolation from his peers because he has no friends, the way his family treats him, the way he treats himself, all so angst-worthy!!

9. Also!! The way he treats himself is a direct response to his environment! He cares little for his health! 0 fucks given! He'd jump on a literal grenade for his siblings because he feels it's his job as mission leader to keep them safe above himself! All the times he used two abilities at once, passed out, and played it off as nothing! The avalanche episode where he almost froze to death, he never talks about! Get him TLC [Tender Love and Care]!! And a therapist!!!
