Didn't think I'd start my year being grateful to Lex Luthor but here we are.

Action Comics #1050 was the first comic I read this year and THANK YOU LEX FOR ERASING EVERYONE'S MEMORIES OF CLARK'S IDENTITY.

I haaated that shit I hated it so much, it was so boring and unsatisfying that just the whole damn world knew and I hated how Rebirth basically made everyone forget about N52!Clark with a bs handwave excuse of the two Clarks having ""merged"", when in reality it was more like an override, but they didn't erase THAT part of the canon.

So far, I am REALLY looking forward to the 2023 plans for DC. Between this and the teasing that Dick will play a leading role for Dawn of DC, them bringing back Helena Wayne for the New Golden Age and Nia Nal playing a seemingly bigger role in Lazarus Planet, this year is setting up some exciting things that I can't wait to read!
