PV almost never gets sick, so sometimes he'll sit with the sick ancient and read or talk to them

If PV gets sick, the whole poly panics, because if he gets sick, the illness can be bad for him since he's not particularly good with his immune system

Give each other kisses RELIGIOUSLY

PV sometimes likes to give them kisses right after putting on lipstick so he can hear them fuss about makeup on their face (White Lily and Holly don't mind actually)

They all help PV with autism meltdowns via pressure therapy and kisses

When PV is angry, the other ancients just dip before he snaps (he never does)

Have very different music genera preferences so they always fight over the radio

a random headcanon: he's blind (vision blurred beyond ability to see, not necessarily seeing nothing but black), which is why his eyes remain closed often. his staff works in essence as magic glasses — seeing through the eye became the only way he could navigate the world by sight. in his self exile as healer cookie, he just forewent sight altogether.

general opinion over said character: LOVE HIM SOOOO MUCH he's my everything. one of my top kingdom faves no contest. also very funny that his eng va does the same voice for marth fireemblem, which. has been my ultimate cc for almost a decade. it has An Effect on me for sure 😭👍

Headcanon Pile You Will Not Convince Me To Change

Red Velvet is an absolute spaz who behaves like he's on something most of the time. Velvet has severe ADHD, mild anxiety, and is a mayhem maker. He's the memelord and the chaos machine. He tires out his family and makes all of the stupid, hilarious jokes in the book. He also loves to break character by spitting innuendos at just the right time to fluster his family into silence. Drives Cacao bonkers in my CaoNilla and platonic Polyancients AU. Velvet is a troublemaker post Dark Enchantress's mayhem era. His mayhem is the kind that you can usually laugh at because it's just. So ridiculous. He's a little skittish, though. When he gets serious, he can make these epic, heartfelt speeches that really hit home and are easy to relate to. He doesn't do these often, but he knows exactly when to sober up and give others some reassurance. He loves to cuddle others and will just crash into those who let him hug them. tl;dr: I headcanon that Red Velvet is a hilarious, comically chaotic spastic with ADHD+anxiety issues. When he gets serious, though, he can deliver some mighty fine and heartfelt speeches. Also, cuddly.

Hollyberry x White lily

I mean I guess?

Hollyberry seems a little bit too loud for how White Lily comes across as comfortable with. Too bold and brazen, too passionate in her endeavors. I wouldn't be surprised if Hollyberry loves people fiercely, but I like the idea that she'd love her friends just as fiercely, because we love that platonic love.

Though one could argue that both are passionate about their pursuits in one regard or another. White Lily with her past dedication to figure out how to make the perfect cookie and Hollyberry just... Being Hollyberry. I don't think that's something they'd bond much over, though--I'm sure White Lily is too ashamed of her actions at the Academy to ever bring it up to anyone ever again. Except maybe Pure Vanilla, but that's because he was already there.

Hollyberry, though? She'd definitely be the kind of person who'd go out of her way to try to talk to her more introverted friends, especially at parties and balls and whatnot, in an attempt to make them feel a little bit more comfortable.

I'm not really very keen on Hollyberry's nature, to be honest. I consider myself to be an introverted person, so I moreso gravitate toward the quieter ancients--in order, Dark Cacao, Pure Vanilla, White Lily. Ironically they're also the ancients we arguably know the most about.

And about Polyancients, by the way--there's nothing wrong with it, but I'm not a big fan. Not because of the polyamory aspect, of course--it just seems too exhausting to keep up with for me, so I tend to avoid like. Fanfics of Polyancients and stuff more often than not. I struggle with keeping contact with people privately often and I guess that a five-way ship kind of presses on that a little too much.
