AU N and his Deino!

Fun fact: The X shaped scar on his right arm from N's ref sheet was actually a bite mark from Deino! When he first found Deino it was injured & scared + it couldn't see, so it bit him. It eventually warmed up to N after he spoke to it. Luckily N doesn't hold any hard feelings towards Deino for doing that.

Ask from sugarqueen4693: I think it would be funny if once alder firsts takes in N, Darmanitan (who was like his parent) would very closly watch Alder and was very suspicious of him at first.

Yeah definitely! Darmanitan did pretty much raise N at the start. So when Alder brings N home, Darmanitan follows Alder around to keep a protective eye on N. Alder tries to be friendly, but Darmanitan is constantly on alert for the first few months haha. Little N can't quite understand why Darmanitan is so wary, but tries his best to make the two get along.

Then one day N stumbles upon this scene:

Turns out the two parents aren't so different after all.

I would absolutely love to see Preteen N and Benga (Alder's grandson from B2W2) as a baby and toddler. Passive and sweetheart N trying to corral this high energy toddler when babysitting <3

Ohhh my goodness this is such a cute idea! I love the idea of N being like a patient older brother figure to Benga!

(I think in the story they might have a 7-ish year age gap, with Benga being around 4-5 here and and N being 11-12!)

Also: Benga is quite the handful haha!

Wait but imagine N with his now evolved Zweilous. It'd be such a challenge because the two heads HATE each other and are always competing and bickering. It's even stated in one of their Pokedex entries that they have more scars from fighting with each other than battling. It'd be interesting to see how he can overcome it because the two heads can become extremely jealous if it thinks the other is getting more attention

I hadn't even though about Zweilous! I was inspired to do a few doodles based off your idea. I like to think that raising Zweilous was difficult, but N listened to it and eventually used strategies to get the two heads to get along. Zweilous taught N a lot about patience, dedication, and understanding. For his hard work he was rewarded with a friendly & powerful Hydreigon!
