so to start off this idea of an EAH reboot, I'm wondering if Milton Grimm would be willing to commit murder to keep the perfect story image. or the "intentional poofing" of characters and stories that don't fit the perfect fairytale formula. Things that people don't really care to retell.

The wiki states Milton is indeed one of the original Brothers Grimm who wrote the stories to begin with, and because of that and my own personal feelings as a writer, i feel he would have a hard time actually killing his characters and stories, so instead he curses them into a forever sleep and erases every mention of them everywhere in Ever After. Instead opting to send their bodies in glass coffins off to a different land. One that has has a labyrinth of a catacomb that would take hundreds of years to find the room they're kept in.

But now, those hundreds of years are up, and they've been found by a group of ghouls trying to figure out the secrets of their families and species. Just stumbling upon miles of miles of tall walls covered in cases of sleeping people, all labeled nice and neat for safe keeping.

None of the names mean anything to the majority of them. Except for Twyla, she knows the stories of every single one and recites the summaries easily. But what to do with this information, no one is sure. They can't just leave them there, but can they be sure it's safe to wake them? how would they even go about doing that?

but yadda ya, they wake them up, they end up trying to get back to Ever After but it doesn't work out, they end up in some mysterious other place and start making a new home there. I don't really have anything more than that, feel free to add more

if you listen to the song, you might notice some things:

1: it sounds EXTREMELY AI generated

2: it sounds like only a piece of the song

3: it sounds VAGUELY like red era taylor swift

so here is my theory:

someone on the ever after high team is trying to bring ever after high back, and created this as an example song to bring in front of people at Mattel to pitch the idea of a reboot/revival

and this might start to sound a little crazy until you realize that in the BOOKS there was a character named Taylor Quick, who had a song released with the lyrics:

“there you go again today

slaying dragons

vaulting walls

battling goblin hordes alone

i would spin straw into gold

or sleep on a thousand peas

it’s enchanting to see you,

now i probably sound crazy!! but here’s a taylor swift song that the lyrics almost exactly match in cadence and tune to Enchanted by Taylor Swift

and then suddenly, we get a drop from the OFFICIAL Ever After High account with an AI Taylor Swift voice singing a song that gives Red Era Taylor vibes

i’m just saying, this might be a Taylor Quick song that we’re getting a leak of by someone on the inside.

my guess is someone on the team got upset about not being able to get the clearance for the reboot/revival and leaked this song

or if that’s not the case, someone is about to get fired!

I don't think EAH is totally ending but I do think they are in for a total rebranding and reboot. The Storybook of Legends is set for a September rerelease.

Right now it’s a phase out. But for sure the animation as we know it is over. No question. See some other posts to explain more of what is going on but as an investor I’m not optimistic. Vault is the term I’m using for now but honestly there needs to be some facing of the truth. Reboot is a total hellish process let me tell you…. but not impossible. Disenfranchisement with Disney is an issue and there is still bad water there. EAH has always been a companion to MH. Didn’t the “MH Lost Movie” strange episodes kind of tip yall off to something? I need to be very clear that I’m not on the corporate team but I am an investor. And as an investor EAH profits have slipped and I see that. I’m not telling people to give up but no matter what there will be a change. Even if there is a cancellation which again I’m not saying is everlasting a phase out is a courtesy. Novi Stars just stopped one day and didn’t even tell the community. We should just be happy for what we have already been given. I really do hope this drama dials down a bit. There is no use in getting irrational. We will know soon enough. There is more behind the scenes that you know and that's ok! I'm upset too because change isn't always welcome. Yet think about the message of EAH and decide how you want to go forward :)
