day 27 of sappho!

happy new year!

a little recap of the past week:

- shampoodle!! got new hair instead of that weird default stuff lol

- upgraded to super t&t!

- the cafe is open!

- i was about to construct a new bridge, but then i changed my mind, so i lost 50,000 bells that i had already donated :P

- instead of, you know, celebrating the new year countdown normally, i did it in animal crossing. luckily the countdown my family was watching on tv was delayed so i was still able to do the 3 2 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR and all that jazz.

- speaking of changing my mind, i changed my mind about letting tammy move.... but now marcel's moving! so let me know if you want him! he's moving next week :)

AND THAT WAS SOOOO AWESOME) #bea (i think she was also a ticket island thingy find) #and finally... tom (ok he has a fun story. #i think it was margie who lived on my island at the time and listen she was SUCH a sweetheart i wanted to keep her forever #(she replaced drift who i found on an island and he was mean to me so i have beef with him. still. like four years later.) #but them tom showed up as a camper and i got this crazy hit of nostalgia and i remembered my guy tom was in my childhood city folk town #and i was like. I MISS MY BOY. COME BACK TO ME. so he moved in) #umm only other villager we had was chadder which i think my little brother picked when we shared the island #i think i remember him saying he got chadder because of dantdm...? i dont remember the details #but i got the sanrio amiibo cards which i need to stress i had wanted for YEARS. i was so fucking happy when they got a rerelease #to the point where like. i couldnt get them at first because they sold out super fast. so #i bought them from someone in twitter dms im so serious. and it fucking worked thats how i got them #anyway i wanted chai to move in because shes my fave of that set (i love cinnamoroll) but i needed someone to move out #which i always get so sad about :( but my brother offered to take chadder so i felt a little better abt it #and then i think we forgot to like. have him come get chadder in boxes. so chadder went off somewhere hope hes living a good life #thats it i think. i wish i kept a list of all my villagers ever but considering ive been playing for a decade or so now that would be. crazy #muffin mumbles

•Registering a Friend code•

On ACNL you can both visit someone else’s town and they can visit yours. But before you visit someone else’s town and vice versa, each of you need to add the other’s “friend code” on to your “Friend list”. You can’t visit each other’s town until you do this, and any time you want to visit a different persons town you must register that persons friend code. Before I explain further about visiting towns, let me show you how to access your friend list.

To access your friends list, you must go to your DS home page. This is the page that opens up when you switch on your DS. On the touch screen at the top, you will see different icons. The orange square icon with a face is your friend list. Here you can also find your own friend code that other people can add to their friends list

How to register a friend’s friend code

Before you invite someone to your town or you visit theirs you will need to register their friend code, as they will also need to register your on their friend list. Registering a code is very easy. If they don’t know their own friend code then show them this guide.

Visiting/inviting to a town is done through two ways: local or internet. Local just means connecting DS to DS with someone who is physically next to you. Internet means you can connect long distance, with anyone in the world. This is the option most people use.

To register a friend’s friend code, watch my video below. Once you have clicked on your friend list you will see on your touch screen “settings” and “register friend”. Click “register friend”, choose “internet” and then type in the other persons friend code (not your own).

If you have entered it correctly and your DS is connected to WIFI, it will register them to your friend list. And now you can invite them or visit this town! If you ever want to visit a different person’s town then you will have to repeat this process and add their friend code to your list. Like I said, it’s just like adding new people to a contact list on your phone.

Animal Crossing New Leaf

I know not many people are playing this game anymore but I got the Welcome Luxury rom hack and fell in love with the game all over again. I used to play it and I spent hundreds of hours on multiple towns but I've lost all them and felt like I didn't make much progress anyways in making a good looking town. I started a whole project (that is more passion than vision lol) and now I'm contemplating making a blog for it and my Wild World town I also started, (though neglecting for my superior new leaf game) I am cheating somewhat (define cheating?), time travel, and I plan to use a town editor, I've always wanted to but I never could when I use to play the game, my main motivation for playing it now and I still just haven't done it lmao My goal is to make an aesthetic town that I'm happy with, and unlock all the things I never have as quickly as possible, which still means spending the entire day playing it, I quickly got my animal crossing (time travel) addiction back xD but it makes me happy so it's fine, I've been scouring many places for good paths and QR Codes though I'm still working on the vision of my town, I've made good progress, it's no where near done so I'm hesitant to post screenshots but I think it's a good start.

If there's anyone who would like to trade I would be happy to send you my friend code, I am looking for more native-type fruits in my town, currently, I have peaches and cherries, and an abundance of perfect peaches. Specifically, I am looking for apples but all fruit is good. I think you can do more with travelling but I cannot remember.

day 21 of sappho!

oops! i keep forgetting to update y'all on my town. so considering it's been like, over a week, here's an update :)

- i got my dream address! 5B00-01E2-A6DF

- i got the second floor museum upgrade!

- i got a new villager, ricky! i hate him.

- toy day happened but i didn't give my villagers the right presents oops...

- i opened club LOL!

- shampoodle is under construction!

- tammy is moving out on the 30th! i don't really know how villager trading works in the acnl community, but feel free to message me if you want her and we can figure something out! i'm kinda conflicted on this tbh - she's not really my fave fave, but i like her. but i'm deciding to let her move so i can open more slots for new villagers :) someone please give her a loving home!!

that's all for now! once again, message me if you want tammy :)!!!!! she's cool. she'll probably be free, but if multiple people are interested, it'll be a trade!

The 3DS eshop is closing down and I'm a bit emotional about it... I know we'll still have all the games, and there's always gonna be someone to play with, but the 3DS was just such an iconic moment of my youth. No other console could just slip into your backpack, no case required, not to mention the connectivity! Streetpass! No need for online subscriptions to play with your friends! Oh, the ACNL community in it's prime, before the days of amiibo when we'd buy, sell and trade villagers because there was no other way to get your dreamies.... I could go on forever about how much I love this little doodad...

Hello, this is a new account that will offer help guides for different topics on Animal Crossing New Leaf (ACNL). All my posts are for ACNL only.
