My senior thesis film, Zermi's Paradox, is currently in production!

The film follows a little alien space cadet named Zermi, who must convince his senior officers that we—the human race, that is—are a species worth contacting. Can he do it? Find out when the film releases!

The film combines hand-drawn 2D animation, 2.5D rigging techniques, 3D animation and motion graphics, showing off all the animation know-how I've picked up while pursuing my BA. I'm overjoyed to finally put it into production, and I couldn't ask for a better team of animators, artists and designers to help me pull it off.

Revue ciné : Cloverfield paradox Appréciation : sombre bouse Réalisation : Julius Onah L'histoire : Un groupe de scientifiques dans uns une station orbitale doit mettre en marche un accélérateur de particule d'un nouveau genre pour sauver la planète Terre des problèmes énergétiques dont souffrent la population mondiale. Mais alors qu'enfin les spationautes en herbe arrivent enfin à démarrer l'bousin, vlan, il se passe des choses incroyable ! Y a pu d'pétrole ! C'est la zermi ! Alors on a fabriquer un gros canon accélérateur de particules, dans l'espace pour, si ça marche (?) envoyer de l'énergie à la planète entière. Sauf que boum, catastrophe, collision de dimensions, choses bizarres, membres en goguette, personnage changeant de motivation à la minutes... Le problème principal est que l'on se trouve dans un environnement hard-science et que tout est incohérent (jusqu'à la gravité elle-même). Les scientifiques n'en sont visiblement pas. Pas plus qu'ils ne sont rationnels. En fait, la science, on se torche avec. Les acteurs font tout ce qu'ils peuvent et sont plutôt bon mais pas suffisamment pour rattraper un scénario en bois et une écriture des personnages incohérente. Bon et pour finir, je vous le dis, les monstres annoncés par l'affiche ne sont pas au rendez-vous.
