1500-1599 Recap Part 71:
Thomasin’s daughter Christina died as a toddler.
Florence became a child and Wilmot had twins Clemence and Catherine. Catherine died at half a year old.
Marielle became a teenager and Susanna became a toddler.
Then Elizabeth died which had nothing to do with me. I leave accidents on once a household has a surviving child (meaning one who will survive all their death rolls until their teen years). I was a bit shocked when I got the notification but I was fine with it though it did suck knowing she passed so young.
Then Gilbert and Seema’s children became teenagers.

1500-1599 Recap Part 66:
Janet got married to Camilo right after Thomas died. Bartholomew became a toddler.
Then Ruth was married to Drew and as a proper sim she didn’t raise much complaint despite her worries.
Piers became a toddler and Agnes showed her age.
William got married to Karina’s cousin Patricia since at this point most sims are either related by blood or marriage. This is also around the time when I took some random sims from the Gallery and dropped them in game for side household spouses and world variety since there are A LOT OF AKIYAMAS AND HOWELLS AND VATORES AND VOLKOVS AND WILDERS a few families that have dominated the save not counting the Carlisles themselves of course. I don’t really remember where I got the other sims from since I wasn’t planning on having them marry into the family but other unrelated families for a little more variety I didn’t keep track of them but there are some in the family tree that married side households that will likely never be seen again. Though it is annoying that most of Cecily’s children come from a sim who I can’t remember who made him so I just didn’t mention it since I wasn’t expecting the like 4 sims I added to get involved with the family so quickly.
Then Wilmot and Parnell went into business together.

1500-1599 Recap Part 62:
Elizabeth’s daughter Rachel was born not long after Margaret discovered she was pregnant with her twins.
Then of course Samara died which was a big deal having the parent of the heir, Thomasin, pass away. I gave her unofficial generation three status. I thought about having her and Adrian marry before she passed away but decided against it.
Eden became a child and Agnes a toddler.
While the other members of the family were in Henford, Wilmot learned she was expecting Florence.

Year 1582 Part 4:
Florence enjoyed her party and was kept company by her brother Adrian since Barnaby wasn’t interested in hanging out with girls and her cousin Rachel who was happy to talk to her about how being a big sister meant that you had to be a “good influence” or whatever, which made Florence a bit skeptical on becoming an older sister.
Wilmot felt terrible when her labor started in the middle of the party but she also knew that it was coming faster than her others so she would deliver in the home instead of at her own house. She knew her sister had recently lost a child and she was bringing more into the world but she had little choice in the matter which Thomasin understood.
Clemence and Catherine were born safely though which was all that mattered in the end but it did mean that Wilmot took the babies home early while the kids took over the Carlisle home.

Year 1576 Part 2:
Things were hectic at the Carlisle home now that there were two young toddlers around. Thomasin stepped up to do what she could but things were destined to get out of hand when Wilmot went into labor and delivered a healthy little girl named Florence.
The Ashtor home was less hectic as their little daughter soon had her first birthday. John was happy to see that their daughter didn’t inherit his skintone but could tell that his girl would be different from her mother and bound by the moon like himself.

Year 1576 Part 1:
Margaret delivered twins in the beginning of the year, a son named Samuel and a daughter named Sybil. She named them for her mother but couldn’t give her daughter her mother’s name since the people of Henford never really approved of her life and she didn’t want the stigma to follow her daughter. She felt her son’s name was as close to Samara she could get while living at home.
Wilmot’s pregnancy was progressing nicely as her boys celebrated their first birthday. While it was unclear who they took more after, at the moment the boys looked a lot like their mother to her delight. Adrian was a curious child while Barnaby loved to joke around as much as a little one could of course.
But the boys weren’t the only ones to have a birthday, Thomasin celebrated turning eighteen as well.

Year 1575 Part 9:
Wilmot was alone once more in the home with her sons though this time she was nauseous seemingly all the time. Though that didn’t last long because just a few days later, Adrian and the girls returned home.
Parnell was happy to be with her unmarried sisters once more and get the chance to know Wilmot better. Though she felt like Tartosa was just a temporary place for her. When she spoke to her sisters about it they didn’t quite understand, they liked the idea of travel as well but they definitely considered Tartosa home. But Adrian said that he had felt the same about Henford and understood that it was likely that his daughters would leave when they became adults. Until that happened though, he made sure they all were educated and knew how to care for themselves.
In Glimmerbrook, Adam’s daughter Marielle turned six to the relief of her parents. While Ambrose’s eldest turned eighteen.

Year 1575 Part 8:
Wilmot felt she had a bit of a handle on parenting by the time Faiz returned from his trip. The two quickly did their best to catch up on lost time while her family was away. Faiz was overjoyed to be a father to his sons though he lamented the loss of their daughter as well. Unfortunately he had to travel again but it could wait until Wilmot’s family returned, what news couldn’t wait was that Wilmot was expecting once again. She was delighted until she remembered the sickness of her previous pregnancy and the fact that she would likely have two toddlers and an infant or worse more than one infant at the same time.

Year 1575 Part 1:
TW/CW: Infant Death
Maria turned thirteen with plenty of fanfare befitting a noble lady despite her displeasure with it. Luckily at night she was allowed time for herself before her real lessons kicked in which she used to play the piano.
Wilmot went into labor a month later and was surprised to deliver triplets, a girl named Bridget, and sons she named Adrian and Barnaby. Though sadly due to their early arrival, Bridget did not survive long. The boys appeared to be doing better though that might have been due to the increased level of care given to them after their sister’s passing.
Back in Henford, John celebrated his first birthday and while it was too soon to tell what his true features are, his hair and skin tone suggest that he is a fair mix of his parents. Though the joy of the celebration was cut short when Samara’s health took a dive to the fear of Margaret.

Year 1574 Part 5:
Inspired by her pregnancy Wilmot decided to be the one to propose and it was quickly accepted. Faiz mentioned that he had loved a woman a long time ago in his past and that his biggest regret was never marrying her before she died. He refused to let another love of his alone though he realized he was likely going to be the one to pass first between him and Wilmot.
The two quickly eloped before Wilmot even had the chance to start showing.

1500-1599 Recap Part 63:
Marielle became a child and soon Margaret had her twins Samuel and Sybil after her oldest John died.
Adrian and Barnaby became toddlers as did their cousin Rachel. Then the boys became big brothers as Wilmot delivered Florence.
Julian and Josian became children and were partly raised by Larissa who did admit that she missed having children around. I was seriously considering having Larissa remarry after Thomas eventually died at this point since she is a family oriented sim.

Year 1582 Part 3:
TW/CW: Child Death
Christina had her first birthday with little fanfare, she was a cheerful child but the days leading up to her birthday she grew ill and began to run a concerning fever. Thomasin doted on her daughter and was gripped with the fear that she might actually lose her once the fever continued to persist. Every night she made sure to tuck her into bed and her blood went cold when she went to wake the child in the morning only to find she had passed away in the night.
Thomasin was filled with such a sense of grief that her child was gone. It wasn’t an impossibility in her mind but the reality of her loss made her feel empty.
Unfortunately for Florence, her sixth birthday occurred a few short days later. Cecily was able to attend and Thomasin snapped herself out of her grief for the sake of her niece’s day. Though she couldn’t help but feel the girl’s face in fear of her running a temperature. She was terrified of losing another child in the family so soon after her own. Adrian was glad to see his daughter out of bed at the very least though.

Year 1581 Part 5:
TW/CW: Death, Stillbirth
In Glimmerbrook, Agnes’s family celebrated Sebastian’s thirty-fifth birthday but the joy wasn’t to last.
Not long after Sebastian had been performing a spell that did not turn out well and he lost his life. Worse yet, while helping to prepare for the funeral, Adam had injured himself and died a couple weeks later after failing to fight off the infection. Blanche was widowed and did her best as an expectant mother but the losses weren’t over with yet because the child she delivered was lifeless but she named her Jane all the same since Sebastian had wanted that name for a girl.
Thomasin and Philippa made sure to take time for themselves after the baby was born and they were glad when they could see their nephews out and about through town as well.
Wilmot checked in regularly with Talia’s tome and was happy to announce her latest pregnancy though she wasn’t really showing much. Adrian joked that if he hadn’t felt the flutter of new life he wouldn’t have been sure there was a baby in there. Parnell was a bit upset at the timing since things were just beginning to get settled enough to consider travelling and now she would need to pick up the slack when Wilmot actually had the baby.

Year 1579 Part 2:
Philippa was happy for her sister though she was discouraged when she learned that with her work, she wouldn’t be able to travel for sometime when they were hoping to travel together. Ultimately, Philippa decided to hold off on travel until her sister was able to come along which made Thomasin upset. Philippa teased her sister saying that if she wasn’t so scared, she could go on her own which only served to piss her off and she vented to her cousins through Talia’s Tome.
Janet was enjoying living a life of luxury, essentially squatting in an abandoned castle the Kibo family had made their own. Though she was surprised to learn that the home truly belonged to Larissa, Larissa cared little for the house of her unknown father and let it be. Soon Janet delivered twins, Thomas after her grandfather and Alice, after her sister. Larissa found it funny that Janet had named her twins the same as her older siblings. Both children were healthy and the family could only hope that they remained so unlike how Thomas’s twin had died as a young girl.

Year 1579 Part 1:
In Glimmerbrook, William and Margery turned 18 and with that William married Karina’s cousin Patricia as was arranged by their families.
Wilmot then approached Parnell with an offer. Faiz was getting old as a merchant and Wilmot was planning on taking over the business from him ideally when the kids were a bit bigger but she would need help and she wanted it from Parnell. Parnell was honored for the offer and said that she would do what she could to make money but she still wasn’t sure that Tartosa was a place she could truly call home. When Wilmot said that’s why she wanted Parnell she was confused, Wilmot wanted to establish clear trading between countries through her business rather than mostly wandering about to see who wants to buy. Essentially she wanted help establishing herself in Tartosa since the kids were still little and she wanted Parnell to open her own place wherever she chose to settle so that they could both profit. Parnell decided that the offer was far too good to refuse.
