“This album saved my life and nearly destroyed it at the same time,” singer/songwriter Daniel Welbat says about his fifth studio album. Like many other artists, the pandemic and its lockdowns brought the Hamburg native to his knees, mentally speaking. Isolated from the rest of the world, Welbat took an unfiltered look at what is commonly referred to as “bad habits.”

“This album saved my life and nearly destroyed it at the same time,” singer/songwriter Daniel Welbat says about his fifth studio album. Like many other artists, the pandemic and its lockdowns brought the Hamburg native to his knees, mentally speaking. Isolated from the rest of the world, Welbat took an unfiltered look at what is commonly referred to as “bad habits.”
“It hurts like hell,” Welbat says, “but these bad habits, those little everyday sins, ultimately make us who we are – human beings! And that’s a good thing.” Armed with a crate of whiskey and a suitcase full of cigars, the songwriter set off on a musical meditation of sorts. The result was Bad Habits – surely his most personal album to date.
To experience the outcome of this transformation live is going to be sensational! Daniel Welbat’s powerful, sonorous voice bobs and weaves between smoky jazz bar and electrifying rock concert in an unbridled fashion. He screams, grunts, hums, whispers, sings and raps – a voice that seems to hold a hundred lives.
Made up of 14 gripping new tracks, the new WellBad opus will be released in March of 2023, followed by a Germany tour of several weeks. Later that year, the five-member combo will be heading to Canada once more.
Stage animal Daniel Welbat and his electrifying Hamburg band put on a wildly dynamic live show in a class of its own, sending their audiences into raptures between heaven and hell.

Recording artiste Quada, has acknowledged his departure from Popcaan's 'Unruly Camp.' The deejay whose given name is Shacquelle Clarke, was first signed to Popcaan's Unruly Entertainment record label in 2018. Quada, who now runs his own music company, Wellbad Entertainment, told Winford Williams in an Onstage TV interview over the weekend that, despite the amicable split, he has "leveled up" and now oversees his own career. "First and foremost, big up and blessings; I always have love and respect for Popcaan and Unruly Entertainment, but I simply want the world to know that I'm doing my own thing now." Quada began, "As I previously stated, I am the CEO of my own company, Wellbad Entertainment." "You know, everything in life is subject to change, but it's all love and respect with Unruly Entertainment and Popcaan, so huge up Popcaan." The 24-year-old entertainer went on to say that his new route in music has brought about a shift, as evidenced by his current track Di Vibes, a clean-cut tropical sounding tune that he debuted on the broadcast. Quada's followers should expect quality music with a message that will uplift the culture in the future, similar to what legends like Bob Marley did before him, he said. What he has planned for this fresh and revolutionary artistic journey begins with his new song video, Di Vibes, directed by Lagikz Visualz. Blair Mercer produced the new profanity-free single, which will be the first of several "huge tracks" leading up to his debut EP, which he hopes to release next year on his birthday, September 1, or possibly earlier in the summer of 2022.
