God knew He wanted me as His child before time existed. Wow! I can’t imagine what it must have been like to wait that long for someone to be born. When I was in my mother’s womb, He knit me into being. I am unique, formed like no one else. When I was born, God didn’t leave me to move onto the next unborn, no! He has been with me always (and you!!). There is no place that I cannot escape Him, even if I tried. It’s so comforting knowing God’s presence. It’s not scary or intimidating like some “big brother”, nope. God is not just my God, but my Father. He is loving, kind, merciful, holy… Even though I am a sinner, He waits ever so patiently for me to turn back to face Him like facing the sun. He sits on the edge of His throne, waiting to run and welcome us back in His arms like the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
