St. Mark the Evangelist 1AD-68 Feast Day: April 25 Patronage: notaries, secretaries, pharmacists, lawyers, lions, prisoners, glaziers, Venice

Saint Mark is one of the Gospel writers and a member of the tribe of Levi. He is believed to be "John Mark” in the Acts of the Apostles and the cousin of St. Barnabas. They joined St. Paul on the first mission to Antioch in 44AD. Mark was St. Paul’s “trusted companion” especially when Paul was imprisoned in Rome. St. Mark died a martyr in Alexandria and his relics are enshrined at the Cathedral of St. Mark in Venice.

Most of the time if I feel off, I’ll have a video playing in the background of someone leading the Rosary. That way I don’t loose track and I can pause if needed. Sometimes it’s better if I close my eyes and listen, other times I’ll watch the video. It helps if the video has images of each mystery and I can pause the video or rewind whenever needed. It can help to hold the Rosary in both hands while fidgeting or you can try a relaxing swing or spiny chair it can be soothing. Other days I just have to break up the Rosary to say sections at different times to make it less overwhelming all at once.

Dear Catholics who are really fidgety and can't sit still and focus for almost anything, how the heck do you get through an entire Rosary?

I had a beautiful custom, hand made Rosary created by regalrosary. 💜They worked with me to pick out everything from the bead type and color, the roses, the saint medal, the crucifix, and even down to the cord color! It’s so durable, and easy to hold! I chose my two favorite colors, roses which remind me of the Little Flower, the Saint Benedict medal for his intercession, and smooth beads and crucifix for a timeless look. I highly recommend it.

prayer request that I can forgive a man who emotionally abused me and blocked me without taking responsibility for cheating behind his partner's back. as soon as I found out that he did this, and called him out, he just didn't respond and i have been having a hard time healing from it.

When we have a hard time forgiving someone, we can be like Jesus on the cross who prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do”. This is what we can do too, we can ask our Father in Heaven to forgive this man that abused you and God always hears our prayers.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come.

Thy Will be done,

on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.
