sighs i love gillion tidestrider and his religious trauma.

i think that lunadeyis (is that how you spell it?) never spoke to him directly much whenever he tried to pray. it put a lot of strain on his belief + made him feel very doubtful in himself because of it. every time a prayer went unanswered, he’d try harder in training sessions and push himself closer to his breaking point in hopes that it would catch her eye.

however i also think the idea of a very communicative goddess is fun to play with. what if she regularly still sends him signs, etc?
