Love - What terms of endearment/nicknames do you like to call your f/os? what about vice versa? do you have any that hold a special meaning?

Starlo – Most of his nicknames for me or for the others in the polycule are a bit silly but still endearing nonetheless! The most common ones are Shooting Star, Starshine, and Sweetstar, but for others he'll call them the first thing that pops into head.

He calls Starscream 'Screaming Star' for example. It makes Starscream both annoyed and very flustered, and it's adorable!

Starscream – He doesn't use endearing terms unless in private given his ego, but he does have nicknames for everyone! They can come off as a little mean, but everyone knows Starscream shows his love a bit different.

An example is that he calls Starlo 'Starfool' (ironic), and it always makes the Decepticon smirk when Starlo steps up a notch and the two try to outdo each other.

Figure – While Figure's not good at talking just yet, (they have enough sentience to understand words and pass a harkness test!) I like to think it would have both a mix of endearing petnames and general nicknames for everyone in the polycule.

One that comes to mind is 'Starboy' for Starlo, a mixed nickname of Star and Cowboy! :)

Darling - Is there anything you hold close because it reminds you of your f/o? what about them?

I like to hold onto a lotta things from everyone in my polycule, so I'll list off a few or so items for the three in this question!

For Starlo, I like to hold onto his poncho and a star badge of his when he's off dury doing farmwork or just taking a day off from sheriff work. The poncho smells very fragrant due to some cologne he wears, and the badge is verg shiny with his initials carved into it. ⭐️💛

For Starscream, it's a piece of an Allspark Shard he entrusted me with. (I made it into a necklace charm for safekeeping!) He's surprised that the Allspark still keeps him alive to this day, but he entrusts me wuth a shard in the case his current one gets taken or dies out.

And finally for Figure, There's... a lot of things. It one brought me a book that I could barely read due to scribbles and decayed ink, while another was a wooden crucifix broken in half.

I often hide the latter away because Gabriel, being the archangel he is and him seeing Figure as an abomination created from God's mistakes, You could probably imagine the rage he'd feel seeing a shattered crucifix.

in my dream that didnt reassure you either

you asked me "are you crushing on anyone else right now?" and i giggled and said "noo" w a knowing eye and you got nervous and looked to the side and forced out a laugh "noo thats not okay, we need to find you someone" then you took me by the wrist and had me speak to a guy

all i could do was watch you while you laughed at everything he said, and i think i was just happy i was with you

(he didnt even have a face, yet i could see the peak of your cheekbone that causes the depression beneath your eye)

later on i went home w a beautiful girl, tough and thick in every aspect, in a sick way i cannot deny het beauty

she was into me, i think we wanted this to go somewhere,, her friend had set us up and were hung out alone in rug covered room with a mirror and magical beads,, and she spoke with a tough sarcasm that ive gotten used to over the years, i dont think i looked at her long

then you came in, light in your weight and smiling lile ive never seen. Im use to this i think, but something hurt inside so far down and so unimportantly, i just focused on that you were happy. And you began to recount to me the tome you had, laughing the whole time, and i asked you "are you drunk" and in your beautiful, biteless irony you said "nooo maybe judt a little champagne" and we laugjed anf i was so happy to be wuth you, giggling in out own language rven thoigh i hear you speak this way with everyone. In dream and now, shamefully for my own comfort, i will believe it is special when you do it with me

and you held my hand and played with my fingers while you pattered on, and swinging your head this way and that, and in a moments confusion we forgot who we were and you kissed me.

That moment convinced me this dream was real. Your lips left a session on mine that felt so real. I know i felt pressure, i know i did. At that moment,i was convinced it was because we really did kiss. Now i know itd because our last kiss, whenbeer that was, has not left my lips this whole time. That kiss we had, whenvef that was, has traveled through time and told me we are still in embrace.

i was left in a daze after that, and i heard you gasp and laugh and say "oh i forgot!" and take hold of my second hand. But i stared off, with a dopey smile growing all over my face. Thid whole dream I've felt so tired, my eyebags leading the way. But that kiss sparked rhe rest of my physical existence, and golden light rippled along my skin, into my brain, and swayed its way across my eyes. I heard angels singing, the muses, everything that comes witj a golden kiss. I was so happy. And i agreed with you and said "dont worry about it,"

latter on, the girl saw us and was less than impressed. You were layed across your back (your hair was parted in the most stunning way) and playing with my fingers. My exhaustion was back, but it did not matter to me when i was with you. And she asked what my boyfriend was doing here, and i told her "its complicated" while focused entirely on you playing with my hands.

And she told me she doesnt do cheaters, and i told her dont worry about it. I said before you walked into the room i had a boyfriend, so she assumed it was you. I told her "this isnt him," and it confused her more. She sat down and began to do her make up and in a distance, maybe even hurt, but still open manner. And i turned my attention away for a while, sadly my back to you, and i asked her if she knew what polyamory is. And she adjusted in her seat, squinting her eyes as she tried to think, then we spoke at the same time, it isn't / is it, "what the mormans do." I told her that was paligamy and involed religion and stuff we didn't jave here. She nodded along, confused, partly wanting to understand and partly wanting to leave, and i was fine with that.

Then i think someone walked in for you. I think it was him. And then you were gone. You where gone snd i think my dreamself felt there was no point to remember the dream anymore. Now ive woken up, sad, confused, happy, and feeling so stupid.

i cant decide if i want all of this to be real or not. I do, hell i want you so bad, its such a deep seeded need in me, i dont know what to do. But what the hell am i doing. what the hell am i doing. I have a boyfriend, but shit i think its getting rocky. Im makinh mistakes, he is too. And im so scared. And i just want comfort. Like a child i just want to be held and told itsnall going to be okay. And everytime i think about it, im always telling you. Im always telling you.

I think your idea of starting from when they meet is great, as you said, we'll feel the characters and probably grow (or fall...) with them. As for the husband (the couple is married, right?...), please put someone else!! Harry's been through the ringer already in Cloverleaf 😁. But i think i also speak from the biased pov of being a Harry girl 😂... Although i do read fiction where he is sexually and emotionally not available....

Like i think so far for me Chenle and Jisung are pretty straight forward? Along with Markie mark but before i get into it, can i ask which era you're using for each of the boys? Like im sure Jisung and Chenle are from Glitch mode right? With the snow white hair on Jisung and the black based wuth red tips for mr.zhong, but im kinda unsure with Mark,Jeno and Haechan? Renjun im thinking is hot sauce? The two toned hair that wrecked the whole grass fandom stands strong in my mind and i saw a post earlier about Jaem being Maw era, like the descriptions are pretty clear tbh but i jjst wanna have a clearer image you know? So i can wreck myself even more as the story progresses 😌 and maybe because i just wanna have an exvuse to look up really attractive pictures of them while reading the story 💀

Anyhoos, the arcanas each boys were given makes me want to crawl into a cave and sob tbh cause its so damn intriguing for me, and like i said tge most straight forward ones are jisung,chenle and mark, and while Haechan seems pretty clear too, i still kinda wonder how far his manifestation skills can be,like is it really safe to just plainly put it as mind games when the effect on it in real time can be pretty physical as shown with how Ten and MC reacted differently with how tbey saw him right?

And as for Renjun, i kinda am confused,its got nothing with how u write tho, i think im still just trying to wrap my head around it,and im pretty sure as the story goes on i'll have a more clearer understanding to it

And The fact that you actually used the Lovers card for Nomin makes me feel like they might be the next main leads here tbh cause they're so prominent even in the intros alone, and the way Jaemin's skill might be linked up with how he can influence others with his own emotion or how he wants them to feel makes me wonder if its a similar case to Jeno, since everyone's first instincts is to fear him, what if its because its how he wants to make them feel like it, much like how Jaem wanted mc to feel more relaxed with him? Idk the story's just started and im still getting to know the characters here but so far this is where my train of thoughts are. 😌

I really enjoy Kun as mc's partner btw,he gives a really reassuring vibe in an overall edgy situation and as a reader i feel like it plays a pretty comforting role too, like mc is so in and out of it and being a blank page to allow us readers to assimulate ourselves in the story as well, having Kun really does help ease out the lengthy tension in the story, all the while getting deeper into it too.

Haechan and Renjun's arcana are the most complicated so far yes, because they mostly control and manipulate the mind, which means their boundaries can be pretty blurry but with Haechan, he projects hallucinations and controls which is affected by them. So during the scene with Ten, Ten was tricked to see him injured like he can see blood and all, but in reality they're not there. It's all just in his head. Renjun, on the other hand, can access the past of someone because he can read memories. Those are ~so far~ what they can do. You might find out more if you read chapter 5.

I am impressed with how you read Jaemin and Jeno though for now i'm keeping my lips sealed. And omg, thank you for appreciating Kun. I love writing him so much as well. He's like MC's big brother partner in crime 🥺

Packets of pectin littering the countertop (thomas doesn't necessarily like using it and would rather make a runny compote but the jam market is a mainstay of his business so.) Amazing aromas floating by as thomas experiments with flavours. Rosemary apple thyme. Spiced marmalade. Blueberry jam with fresh blueberries from thr fsrmers market that happens every sunday may to october.

- vince lost his wife mary in '82; they'd always talked about setting up a local farmer's market (her family are all farmers but she moved to the city for med school and wanted to reconnect w her roots)

- after mary died, vince was ready to live a life of solitude; but life had other olans and a few years later he met a friend, jorge, through work and his infant daughter brenda. Jorge learned about msry and convinced vince to convene a farmers market in memory of Mary

- jorge owns a local butchery and his stall was one of the first at the market in the early days, and he and Vince are basically brendas dads now

- brenda has taken over more of the butchery business so vince and jorge can ostensibly dedicate more time to tje market administration but actually she caught them kissing in vinces kitchen and theyre the worlds worst kept secret amd she wants to give them some alone time on sundays

- brendas specialty is sausages with her secret spice blend, which is why frypan, who works in a local restaurant as a cook, swears by her meats and will only buy from her. (The way to fry's heart is indeed through food and he and brenda flirt every time they meet amd they're just dancing around each other waiting to make the first move)

- newt and minho open their shops within the same year amd brenda is quick to invite them to set up stalls at the weekly market

- thomas arrives a few years later, with his jams. Brenda leaves a flyer for the market in his mailbox and they eventuslly become fast friends and she takes to selling his compotes at the butcher shop bc they really do pair excellently with some of the cuts

- thomas may be good at jam but he cant cook worth a damn and frypan gives him hell for it the first time thomas talks about messing up boxed mac n cheese

Brenda wears baggy overalls and a trucker hat in this AU and no one can convince me otherwise

Ugh thomqs watching newt knead dough, pressibg into it firmly with the heel of his hand, shaping it with deft touches, twistung and pulling ti create fsncy braids im.Just.

Thomas using minho and newt as taste testers. He comes into minho's shop one day while minho's on his break and newt's lingering after dropping off fresh scones.

"Try this," he says, pulling a small glass jar out of his bag.

Minho frowns. "That looks like snot."

"Shut up," thomas says, unscrewing the lid and shoving the concoction in his friend's face. "Taste."

Minho sticks a dubious finger in - so hygenic - and pops a dollop of the mint green substance in his mouth. Thomas watches, unable to suppress a triumphant smirk as minho's eyes widen. "So?" He prompts.

"Holy fuck," minho says, staring at the jar like it's worth its weight in gold. "That's good. Like, really good."

"You don't need to sound so surprised," thomas says, but laughter is already colouring his words as he turns and offers tje jar to newt.

Thomas enters newt's shop one day and heads strsight ti the kitchen as per usual. The noise of thr mixer drowns out the jingle of the door chime and newt doesn't look up from where he's kneading dough, apron a mess of dusty handprints and a smudge of flour on his jaw. Thomas leans agains the doorjamb and watches for a moment. Newt's back is mostly to him and he admires the long lines of him, the neat bow of the apron around a trim waist. He's humming under his breath as he works, a little off-key and all the more charming for it.

Newt turns the dough over one final time and sets it aside in a greased bowl which he covers with a handtowel. He turns and when he sees Thomas, the whole room lights up with the force of his grin.

"Hey Tommy."

Thomas works to unstick his throat. "Hey," he manages weakly, flashing what he hopes is a smile. His chest is suddenly alight with butterflies.

Dough is clearly not the only thing rising.

A one-woman channel flood? It's more likely than you think.

- minho as a coffee fanatic. Talking about pour-overs and the five elements of proper espresso. OMG there could be like a county fair and Thomas wants to enter his jams and win a prize so he can look good in front of Newt and win his flavour favour. But he gets so stressed about it ("shouldn't you cool it a bit?" Minho asks as thomas slams his fifth double espresso of the day.

Thomas doesnt seem to hear him. "Gotta go fast," he says.) that his jams turn out shit. Everything is despair.

But then, the next morning, a knock on his door. (Thomas isnt used to knocking. He and newt never knock; they just barge right into each others kitchens at this point. But this is his apartment.) He opens it and newt is there, a little uncertain but holding somethinf wrapprd in a teatowel. It's the best damn bread thomas has ever smelled. So he invites newt in and pushes the bitterness of the county fair down in his chest and they cut the bread (still warm). And its fucking delicious, the best thing thomas has ever tasted and he just looks at newt awestruck. "What's your secret?"

Newt actuslly blushes, mumbles something thomas doesnt catch. He leans forward. "What?"

"I said, things taste best when they're made with love." Newt is fully blushing now, the tips of his ears matching the gingham teatowel.

Thomas blinks. Surely he hadn't heard correctly. "Wait, you- oh. Oh."

My boyfriends family is the fucking worst. His sister gave MY cat Ibuprofen, which btw is fucking toxic to animals especially cats, without asking, told me she gave him 3/4 of an 800mg pill (200mg can be lethal to a cat) and disnt understand why I had full blown panic attack and started yelling at her. Apparently their mom gives their cats little tiny pieces cut off a tablet when theyre sick(she used to be a vet so I have no fucking clue why shed think its okay). Turns out she only gave him a little sliver but Im still pissed cause she disnt wven ask me if it was okay if she gave it to him. She just made him take it. Like what the fuck??? I have recently passed my driving test (3 days ago!) and will be buying a car ASAP as I have a job lined up and have just left school. I've tried tens of comparison sites and even rang some insurance companies direct to try and get a better quote... I have looked at the smallest possible engine size, that being 0.8l and 1l engines. I've looked at cars such as FORD KA, Vauxhall Corsa, Nissan Micra, Renault Clio and a few others too. The cheapest quote I have found for all of the cars is for a 2000 Ford KA 1.3l 3dr 4 seats (the smallest KA engine size possible) and that price was 3,800 paying monthly with a company called My Policy . However, I have used various other KA registration plates all the same engine size but some being 2003 models or 2005 and the insurance jumps to over 6,000! I haven't found another FORD KA cheaper than 5,500 and obviously if I can't get that one particular car out of the thousands for sale that insurance quote will be invalid anyway. Basically, I've tried everything. Adding named drivers (with lots of driving experience 30+ years), putting my car in a locked garage, on the road, tried different cars - models, registration plates, ages, engine sizes, and not to forget the countless comparison sites. The funny thing is with MyPolicy I went onto their site directly to get a quote and they were unable to give me a quote when entering exactly the same information into the Tiger.co.uk comparison site, that site brought up the 3,800 quote with MyPolicy but when I use their site directly they can't give me a quote... I know insurance is based on MANY factors, believe me I understand that. I tried entering different post codes (just out of curiosity) and it did help, but only fractionally. It just seems (other than the 1 obscure quote of 3,800 on ONE car, out of the 100+ I've tried) that I can't get a quote cheaper than 5,000 for a car with the smallest engine size and insurance group possible... Now as this is his personnel car and gets 45 miles to the gallon you can understand why he wants to keep using it to get to work. From a legal standpoint, as this is a personnel auto and the other driver is required to carry general libility to cover damage to aother peoples autos. Can a insurance company require him to just settle for the 1,500 dollar value of the car. Or total the car. Or do they have some kind of loop hole. How is it they can require a third party to settle on there terms? As he is not the orginator of the policy, he did not enter into a contract with the insurance provider. Okay! I am a 17 year old male who has been driving in total for 2 years and I have unfortunately had 2 accidents. The first occurred in May of last year. We have been insuring our Audi with the Co-op, who I've generally found to be reasonable. However, now we have a problem. A couple of months ago we bought a van with the intention of replacing the Audi with the van. But the van needed some work doing on it, so we took out a second insurance on the van with the Co-op, so we could still drive the Audi. At the time, I was disappointed to be told that we could not have a No Claims Bonus on the van, as they said it could only be applied to one policy at a time. But they gave the clear impression that when we cancel the Audi insurance, we could then transfer the NCB to the van. The Audi has now broken down, so we want to cancel its insurance. However, yesterday when I called them, they now said they cannot transfer the NCB to the van as it would be being transferred 'mid-season' to a different car policy. They said they could only have applied it to the van if we had changed the original Audi's policy to cover the van, instead of taking out a different insurance policy for the van. This seems ridiculous. Surely, we are entitled to our NCB?! Why should it matter that it is mid-season or not? I explained that if I cancelled our insurances with them and went to another company, I would be given a NCB on the van so why won't they give it to me. They agreed! I really don't want to change, as I don't trust other companies and the Co-op seem more ethical than others. But this seems so stupid. I know this is long but please bear with me. Rather than set up a separate government run medical insurance or expansion of medicare to the general public....One criticism of government care is that it will be in direct competition with existing providers. Ultimately siphoning insurance customers away from traditional plans and onto the rolls of govt care causing these providers to go out of business. Here in my state the auto insurance companies MUST offer the same basic minimum coverage in order to do business in the state. Everyone here must have at least the same basic level of insurance (both auto and medical) . You can go to any provider you choose and this basic minimum insurance level costs the same . If you want more insurance you can pay for additional coverage. But that basic plan is available to all. So why not have a similar program for medical insurance as part of a nation wide group policy. This group can be subsidized by the government but it would be managed by the existing insurance providers. (In other words if you want to be in the insurance business you must offer and support this minimum plan which would be a foundation for any other plan you offer) The govt pays the insurance company a flat rate to manage each person enrolled in the basic plan. The more money the company saves (the better they manage the insurance) the more money they keep. However if that company provides poor management it will cost them. Either subscribers will change management companies if they feel they are getting a raw deal or wasteful management would not be payed for by the government. One advantage I see here is that consumers would have an alternative providers to go to if they feel wronged by a particular management company. Insurance providers also have an incentive to offer additional services to the basic plan members in order to attract more subscribers and earn money. With a govt program like medicare your stuck with the one provider (the governement). As they say One Choice is NO Choice.... If someone wants additional insurance they can buy additional coverage from any provider they choose. But No one could be denied coverage for the standardized basic plan. Since everyone is part of this national group policy the basic insurance is portable and independent of supplemental policy one may have. So if you change jobs or move to a different state you may loose the supplemental policy BUT your basic coverage remains intact. You merely transfer the company that provides the management services for the basic medical. Insurance providers would get paid by the fed to manage the participants in the basic plan for each participant in the basic plan. this would put market forces into play for the insurance providers to make money by attracting additional participants through better service or offerings. COunter to this is if the consumer gets crappy management services they can transfer to any other insurance provider.

My car has been written off by the insurance company back in January and i have not still been paid out due to me not agreeing with the offer. They have submitted me evidence justifying their offer but this was current market value and not prior. I have referred this matter to the finanical services ombudsman who are still investigating (long wait as they go by order of complaints received). I have just found out the insurance company have sold my car off to a salvage company who have sold it to another individual.
