I follow you on here and Instagram and such and have a few questions haha but how do you travel so much? Why did you move to Hong Kong? Can you understand Chinese? Was it hard to make friends and adjust? Xoxooo

hello friend !! i moved to hk because my dad has a work project (idk the specifics) that lasts for two years there, so he had to move us with him. i have only lived here for a few months so i know zilch chinese lmao,, i go to an international school where everyone speaks english so i don’t really need it. additionally in stores n stuff most people understand basic english like please and thank you so u can get by. it’s a very multicultural city and it would be wrong to say i, like, live in CHINA, because mainland china is very very different. i don’t travel as much as t seems, it might just look that way to u because i post more on my insta when i DO travel. however because hk is kind of in the middle of asia it is easy to go to a lot of countries and people do tend to travel more than people in like america. for example my school has a program where everyone chooses a country to go to for a week trip with other students. it’s really fun, i went to new zealand n got exposed to a lot of culture like the native tribal traditions and also delitches kiwi juice. it was quite easy to adjust for me bc i uhhhh did not Like my hometown anyways….new jersey is really fucking boring man. as well most of my friends were on the internet at the point at which i moved so like it wasn’t a big deal socially. it was a lot harder for my sis bc she has a lot of friends in nj. moving to hk was a really really great opportunity that i am ETERNALLY grateful for. i have made friends from !!! all over the world !!!! in my school and i have seen so so much all over the city. hk has many beautiful parks, cafes, libraries, museums, and even beaches that i go to on a daily basis. we also have fantastique boba tea n ramen n dumplings n just good food in general. i would highly recommend to come here (visit me 😫😫). it’s a very lovely city that i am happy, despite living here only a short time, to call my home, far more than the New Jersey suburbs where we only have decent pizza and the occasional car dealership. i hope this answered u q’s !! xx

top 5 favorite musical artists??

hmmm im gonna be doing some very large brain thinking on this one lol. i dont know if this is going to be in any particular order either. its probably gonna be the order i think of them.

1. Vision Video-athens, ga. based band (which i love bc HELL YEAH) with really funky tunes about really deep emotional trauma and shit. their lead singer is "goth dad" on tiktok and a firefighter!! cool vibes all around.

2. Jazmin Bean-UK based artist who's entire vibe is what i would describe as pastel goth, but also a lot of weirdcore. very cool music, bangers. "saccharine" and "yandere" are two of my favs from their album, "worldwide torture"

3. rina sawayama -i literally fucking love her music so much. her self titled album, sawayama, is BOMB, every song is good on there imo. also her song "cherry" is gender and also makes me feel the most pride EVER about how i identify.

4. Queen -im very biased, i had a very long hyperfixation on their stuff back in 7th grade.....mmmm delitches. i used to listen to a night at the opera on the DAILY. shit slaps.

5. Pentatonix -an acapella group who's the only band ive seen in concert. i fucking love their stuff SO MUCH. IVE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY ON THEIR STUFF. its acapella and i love it eehehh.

Bonus: (2) David Bowie. literally gender. but also his music is such a good thing, y'know! i like how like....not weird, but yes weird, it sounds. his voice just makes me think of if like....2000s weirdcore had a voice, but it's also fitting for the time period he made a good amount of his music in)

The Linda Lindas -an all girl group who are what i describe as the best fucking type of punk there is. their song oh! is one of my personal favorites.
