The text is not mine, but when I saw this meme, I immediately thought of them.

It's morning.

12:00 in the afternoon, that's what Emma calls morning.

It's the weekend so Scott let her sleep in longer, but after he himself has been up since five in the morning, he's run, he's worked out, he's had his breakfast at exactly 7:00 a.m., the same as every day, he's gone through his morning routine, he's back to of their common room, in his blue shirt and mockingly, because of course he knows that at 12:00 the sun is already high in the sky, he decides to wake Emma up with a gentle: "Wake up, Babe, the Sun has risen!"

Yes, they use cute nicknames, which is cute…

Emma, still sleeping in her beauty, is not pleased by his wake-up call and responds with her classic biting sarcasm: "And what do you want me to do with it?! Photosynthesis!??"

She's disheveled, her hair is all over the place, she has a shadow from the door ajar, and she's wearing some hideous Scott t-shirt because it was cold, the institute is saving because they don't have electricity to pay for in today's crazy economy, and that t-shirt was the closest and she wasn't willing to climb out from bed.

Scott speaks in Times New Roman. Emma - Savoye LET.

PS: I usually set my canvas just for training, which means resolution to nothing… And then I start drawing something I like and then I end up worrying about the wrong size… Yes, I know it can be fixed, but my adhd doesn't always let me do it, now i'm hoping it will let me write my thesis… But this time this crap has a completely over-sized resolution that has only limited me to 6 pages?

Emma and Scott on the beach, hugging. Some hurt/comfort vibe. It's getting close to night. They have some fancy blanket thrown over them, soft and furry inside. Emma is wearing a minimum of make up because I did it for her, but I ended up liking her better without it. Scott forgot his glasses, so he's got a blind trip home, hopefully Emma will help him. He can only hope. There's a red light coming out of his eyes because, well, that's what Marvel draws in some comics and even though I don't understand what exactly they think it is, it looks interesting.

Emma and Scott in an ice dance pose because they are figure skaters in this picture. Yes, it's totally clear to me that Emma's right hand blends in with the background, but I don't know what to do about it. I also know that Emma's dress is just a lot of white color bordered with glitter. And so on. This image was created because of the Au story - Frostbite. However, this is not a scene, because the time is not here yet.

PS: I played a lot with the option of blue lipstick, I have that version in my ipad, but in the end it looked more like she has a frozen mouth, so Emma's lips all natural.

Paraphrasing a scene from Barbie 2023, Emma Frost as Margot Robbie, or is it the other way around? Or rather Emma as Barbie??? Emma is wearing her signature color, a significant hat, looking you straight in the eye, her expression unspecified. Who knows what's going on with her beautiful discolored head. Do you know Golden boy (1995)? If so, then you know what this is.

In the first episode, the protagonist meets a sexy director of a computer company. She is a tall blonde who wears very revealing clothes and lets herself be called: Madam President. Yes, Madam President. It's probably not hard to guess who she reminded me of…

A redraw of Madam President as Emma, very similar style almost the same, her face is different, she has her signature blue lipstick and one eye is leaving her face, at least the location that an eye normally belongs to… Artistic intent… Yes… Trust me. .. I thought about changing her outfit to one of Emma's official clothes, but the Madam President's model was so much in Emma's style that I decided to keep it and just wash it in the pervolo, so I made it white.

Scott is standing behind her. He is shocked, his mouth hanging open, his wide eyes fortunately hidden behind his indispensable red glasses. Unlike Emma, he has a jacket and a backpack, in which he has everything he needs to survive in the wilderness. The poor guy doesn't know that Emma doesn't need to have it with her because diamonds don't freeze and she can borrow everything from him.

I'm also little referencing the scene from X-men when Emma and Scott were still together. Oh the good times. You know which one I mean, right?

So I was thinking… There are characters that have something distinctive about them that when you see their picture you can assume it's that particular character… Like Harry Potter, the scar and the glasses, Eda the owl Lady , big gray hair, gold tooth, deranged expression… Scott has his visor or glasses, Ororo is a tall white haired black woman, Emma has a significant dress color if nothing else… But Jean… Without her costume? She can be confused with a dozen other redheads.

Nevermind. This is Jean Grey. Should be. And no one else. Although she only wears a light green shirt, her inner strength permeates with the power of the phoenix throughout the galaxy.

Her hair flutters behind her like a victor's flag, long and thick, while I try in vain not to envy how they doesn't turn into one big dreadlock by being wearing this loosely…

Scott/Emma

I watched Wolverine and the X-men years ago and while I was probably more of a Jean/Scott fan, I know I liked the idea of Scott and Emma overall and I've created a few story lines where Emma would survive through her mind for example in Scott's head and then back into her body when they put him, the body, back together. Still, I had much less of a relationship with Scott at the time, unfortunately he's drastically underrated outside of the comics, so I didn't explore their relationship in any depth. I also liked them in the anime as a whole, I think, but since I don't remember much, I wouldn't put much weight on it.

Now years later, I came across this couple while reading some Cyclops fics and they intrigued me enough to read most of the scemma fanfics I could find. I think they have amazing potential story-wise, they bring out the best in themselves despite a rocky start, but they don't hide from the worst in themselves either. This is a significant relationship for Emma, if I understand correctly, Scott is her first boyfriend on the side of good. At least in my headcanon, it weakens her, and makes her retrospectively examine her past actions. With her villainous past, Emma must carve out her place in Scott's life despite the public disapproval of his friends, her new co-workers, and Scott won't let her down. I like that their biggest problem in the relationship, or rather in its functioning, is their environment (friend, family). Their love or sexual attraction is not the problem. They understand each other. The only one who has a problem with it is Scott's wife... Take that as an exaggeration. Speaking of Jean, I like Scott and Jean together. They are a strong couple who have overcome a lot along the way, but what I like more about Emma/Scott is that Emma has more potential to understand Scott. Jean comes from a beautiful home, is loved by her family, and has been under the care of Professor X since her unfortunate manifestation of telepathy. Emma grew up in an emotionally cold family, with no emotional background, feeling less valuable to her siblings, (hell, she believes that her father's violence means his love...) her telepathy was unchecked, if I'm not mistaken again, she was in an asylum for a time, she ended up at the bottom... So did Scott. Both are damaged goods. I think that's why they can be closer than Scott/Jean, also because Scott can be Scott with Emma, next to the perfect and admired Jean he must be Cyclops.
