i can't believe the venice film festival is "trending" on this hellsite and not a single one of you is talking about brendan fraser getting a standing ovation before the premiere of his film followed by a six minute standing ovation afterward where he broke down in tears.
that man is to be treasured.

Today I saw Todd Field's Tár, and I'd like to say the following things about it:
It's gay as fuck
It's almost 3 hours long but I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time
It's shot beautifully and some long shots are truly long, also featuring live music, which is insaaaaane
I'm a hoe for interior design and, if you are too, you're going to love this movie
It's a great look at cancel culture
It features INTERESTING stuff about power imbalances, grooming, and huge age gaps in relationships and situationships 👀
In short:
I'm going to champion this movie to win as many awards as possible
Cate Blanchett now owns my ass

“Ultimately we all live in a version of our own kind of protected bubbles that we all live in and ultimately what we hope people take away from the movie is, what does it take for someone to kind of give up in order to do what’s right and step out of whats comfortable?”
