Last night I was playing theHunter (I got it the other week and have been loving it so much, I used to spend house playing Cabela's Dangerous Hunts as a kid) and I found this fox with Mythical status so I followed him for legit about two hours. Because of course it turned dark shortly after I found him and I don't have much hunting equipment for the dark AND this was in the Yukon level so he was going through the red and orange scrub areas so I kept having to wait til conditions were right.
Anyway, he eventually walked to the burned out forest (where I had originally seen him) and I shot him in the ass so I only got a Bronze trophy but I DID IT, I GOT HIM ANYWAY.
Sketching these two characters from the story of GI:Twisted World fancomic. They come from the frozen lands of Kitezh. Fiodora and Olya, mother and daughter. Both are cryo element users
The Hunter by Tana French @GeorgiaKTaylor @VikingBooksUK
Tana French’s novel is superbly written. You come for the slow burn, for the dialogue that is so well written that it brims with subtlety and nuance and the silences that speak as loudly as the words.
