I'm lost in these memories
Living behind my own illusion
Lost all my dignity
Living inside my own confusion
I try to keep this pain inside
But I will never be alright
The album art features a humanoid creature with crystalline embellishments holding a drawn bow with a crystalline arrow. It's meant to show both the strength and the fragility of not only the character but the album itself.

Music opinions/notes:
The Hunting Party is the most pure rock album we've gotten from Linkin Park thus far and a much more aggressive sounding record than the previous few albums. This album also includes several feature tracks, allowing influence from rock legends like Tom Morello and Daron Malakian, something the band had not done previously. The album seems to have the clear intention of pushing the band out of the comfortable space that the last few records had created and truly be a rock band for the first time since 2007. While the previous album was a homecoming in the sense of the electronic feel, this is a homecoming to pure rock, with hardly any electronic elements at all, having the guitars and drums carrying most of the record.
Moneyed, spoiled, wanting wilderness, but secretly expecting the luxury of the hotels they're used to staying in. It always takes them a while to process what they have actually signed up for, the remoteness, the simplicity, the priceless beauty of the surroundings. Often they undergo a kind of conversion, they are seduced by this place—who wouldn't be? But he knows they don't understand it, not properly.
