That ended extremely well in my opinion and it was very natural. Not sure why you haven’t tagged Overwatch on this though. You deserve more views on a great rp like this.

Because like I said. Most people in the Overwatch fandom will see mention of Sonic and call 'cancer'/'cringe'/'autist'/etc.

Seriously.

Last night I was on as Genji, and saw someone spamming their list of 'if u play x overwatch character it means y abt u' on the Overwatch tag. Metal Sonic, who I play a lot on shamchat [with the Overwatch tag active because it is the only fandom I am in besides Undertale with people playing its characters on shamchat] was on that list.

I asked the person, 'why is that there'

They say 'they need to take their furfag cringe elsewhere, why are they even on the overwatch tag, nobody likes those games'

Like, clearly I do. Clearly there is a damn reason for me to be on the Overwatch tag [abovementioned aside, both games center around a fucking robot uprising. Half of Overwatch's main cast will not hesitate to try and destroy a destructive robot]

But nope, Sonic = cringe because people like the game grumps said so. So even though everyone on every popular game says 'its just a game let me enjoy it', people like me aren't because the Sonic franchise has a hate bandwagon for it.
