To Hurt and To Hold (for the fake fic title game)

hmmm inchesting!! my first inclination is to use Vera as a main char, w the main jist of it being her letting experiences with pollo and the gang pass her by post case.

because she fears everything going wrong, everything hurting her, ect ect she just lets days slip through her fingers for the sake of being "safe"

but throughout the fic she gets closer and closer to accepting their invites and their friend dates ect ect and each time she gets more frustrated at herself and her anxiety for turning them down (To Hurt)

then she accepts once, maybe a group meetup at a mall or something, and despite it being the most nervewracking thing in her life (asides from being on trial for killing her father HGND) she ends up taking specific experiences and holding them close to her heart, using them like steps to get closer and closer to her goal of being more social and solidifyinf these friendships (To Hold)

i think thered be a common theme of holding, too. like someone (TRUCY TRUCY TRUCY) holding her hand when they cross a street or pollo helping her carry something when its just a bit too heavy for her alone (maybe shes moving house? big boxes full of canvas perhaps)
