Mini Book Haul! I got all six of the books I purchased from #Amazon today! And they were shipped from two different locations! ❤ . . . I got six books: And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, White Hot (Hidden Legacy, Book 2) by Ilona Andrews, Greedy Pigs (Sin du Jour, Book 5) by Matt Wallace, The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, and Sweep in Peace and One Fell Sweep (Innkeeper Chronicles, Books 2 and 3) by Ilona Andrews. 😍❤ . . . I already owned And Then There Were None and The Graveyard Book as audiobooks, but I loved them and so wanted print editions, too. 😊 . . . I also already owned (in print) the first four books in the Sin du Jour series, so Greedy Pigs (book five!) just had to be mine. And now it is! 😀❤ . . . And I purchased Hidden Legacy Books 1 and 3, and Innkeeper Chronicles Book 1, from Barnes and Noble on the same day I placed this order, thanks to a coupon B&N offered me. I believe I'll get them, and the other books I bought, on Tuesday. 😀❤ . . . #BookHaul #MiniBookHaul ❤😍❤😍❤

Book Title: One Fell Sweep (Innkeeper Chronicles 3) Author: Ilona Andrews Genre: Urban Fantasy Synopsis: (from Ilona-andrews.com) Dina DeMille’s Bed and Breakfast caters to very particular kind of guest… the kind that no one on Earth is supposed to know about. But first, Dina must rescue her long-distant older sister, Maud. Then she agrees to help a guest whose last chance at saving his civilization could bring death and disaster to all Dina holds dear. My Rating: 5/5
Review: As an avid Doctor Who/Star Wars fan who loves discovering fantasy worlds, this series continues to be the stuff of my dreams, with a homey welcoming inn serving as portal to other wondrous places around the galaxy. With Book 1, I was charmed right away by a novice innkeeper with a magical inn that serves as a peaceful neutral place to stay for vast arrays of intergalactic beings. Admittedly Book 2 was bogged down by too much politics, but still came out enjoyable as more colorful characters filled out the inn.
(Spoilers:) Book 3 is where we get to know more of Innkeeper Dina’s mysterious family, meeting proudly fierce Maud and scarily cute Helen, then seeing the slow romance bloom for both sisters and the dreamy men in their lives. More than the romance, Ilona again tackles an important sickness in today’s society, fanatics hiding behind religion to justify atrocious actions against other races whose only “fault” is they appear different. How Dina and her hodgepodge group of inn-dwellers banded together to save the hunted dying species of Hiru from mass genocide by the Draziri was both touching and one hell of an adventure ride.
What I savored most about this book is learning more specifics about the innkeeper world like the inn seed, the corrupted innkeepers, and the powerful ad-hals which sounded a lot like Aurors (Harry Potter). That ending sequence gave me serious Men In Black vibes. Where did that cat come from and who is Sebastien North? Can’t wait to see what happens next with the Assembly, who is hunting down the ad-hals, there also feels more to that werewolf pack, and when will we finally meet long-lost brother Klaus?

Other things - Daily Diarrhea Diary - Okish. No perioding. Everything is better today, but it's not ALL better. Both ears ache, but mostly only the left. my joints all ache too. lungs are better, only the slightest rasp. And omg my head Hurts.  and oh my legs are sore. Mood was overall pretty decent, Utterly exhausted, and yet utterly wired. Acthar go brr. Warm has finally kicked in, was Cold all day. Then again, it was a chilly day. The gods know it's below freezing right now. Very scattered. Very overwhelmed easily by everything. Today was So Much A Lot Acthar AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Did a Very Big Walkies today. Was going to go to the Farmers Market that happens every saturday, only we pulled up to the square and everything was blocked off - apparently there was A Car Show Thing going on. So they moved the Market deeper in, behind the blocks. That was a no-go. So we went to the danger place. Aka the rollroll store. Aka the place in town that is the only place to get anything TTRPG related that isn’t Walmart. It was a Big Walk uphill and up stairs. But i did it. And then walked around the store. my legs ache like hell. But i did it. It was quite nice.
Then Sir went and bought me Pokemon cards at Walgreens. Apparently they had these tins, so, Sir bought them. i have 4 of one set, and 1 of another. xD Because of course there’s like 30 sets of 5′s. But then Sir went and bought the last tin online in the set.
What a money waster He is. Then again, He’s getting paid well now. So, there’s that.
Nothing really else has been happening, these last few days. Acthar just goes brr.
