Happy Kiss Day!

May 23rd is “Kiss Day” in Japan. So, if you lurk around the twitter, you can find may kiss-themed illustrations. Just searched the hashtag >>キスの日<< to see them （。＞ω＜）。

A lil bit history about the Kiss Day, so in this day back in 1946, there was a film called “Hatachi no Seishun (はたちの青春/ 20 year-old youth)” which was really blew Japanese people’s minds. Why? Because it showed a kissing scene and that was the very first kiss scene in Japanese film industry!

Since then, May 23rd is commemorated as the Kiss Day in Japan 😊
