Large Lace-Border (Scopula limboundata). Willistown, PA. June 2017. Also a midge that is too blurry to ID further.
A little worn, a little damaged, but still a good pic to have. These moths feed on a wide variety of plants, from cherry trees to clovers.
Two generations in the Mid-Atlantic. Adults start flying in late spring and caterpillars are present throughout the summer. Caterpillars may overwinter in the soil.
