Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Vicky Walker as Persephone (or Kore):
Queen of the Underworld and Goddess of Spring ☠🌹🥀
In ancient Greek mythology and religion, Persephone (also called Kore or Cora), is the daughter of Zeus, the chief god, and Demeter, the goddess of agriculture; she was the wife of Hades, king of the underworld. She is goddess of spring, the dead, the underworld, destruction, life, grain, and nature. True to her double nature, Persephone was imagined as having two homes: one on Olympus with her mother, Demeter, and the other in the Underworld with her husband. According to Homer, she also possessed sacred groves on the western edge of the world, near the entrance to the Underworld. Vicky was chosen to be Persephone because of the dichotomy of her story - Heaven's Secret, choosing between being Angel and Demon, similar to Kore/Persephone who also has two aspects, both related to life and/or death.

There's a game called Romance club where there's a book called Rage of the Titans. The theme of that book is the Greek gods and one can play as Artemis. The problem with this book, actually there are several, is that Artemis being our MC is not a virgin, I know it sounds weird, but considering that Artemis is a virgin goddess I think the game has no respect for her. I don't want to talk about the horrible representation, if you can call it that, of all the other gods. They make Athenea look like a foolish goddess instead of making her look like what she is, the goddess of wisdom. The book is pretty hateful if you're devoted to the gods, or at least to me it is.
What do you think about this? Do you think that games like these should have a little more respect with the gods?
I know this is weird but I wanted to share this with someone who is devoted to the gods.
Hello, love!
Ultimately, yes I do think that really everyone should have more respect for not just our gods but all forms of divinity. As much as our culture has framed most of the pagan gods as merely characters in a story, people have to start accepting and understanding that these deities are still worshiped today.
However, even though my Cancer Sun and Pisces Rising make me a fantastical dreamer, romantic, and idealist, my Cap Moon grounds me back to reality meaning I know none of what I just said is ever going to happen. Never. Never ever.
I don't know if I'm a realist or a pessimist but either way, the world is never going to stop seeing our gods as anything other than fictional characters that they can manipulate, rewrite, rework, change, morph, adjust, destroy, piece back together, and sell for a pretty penny.
So games like what you're describing, stories like Lore Olympus, and movies like Troy are going to keep getting made. I think its something we all as worshipers have to learn to deal with however way we can.
For me I remind myself that the gods are happy they are relevant enough in the modern world for mortals to STILL be telling stories about them and featuring them. After everything that happened because of Christianity it is a pretty extraordinary thing that they still remain significant to us and our world. Its kind of their own "fuck you" to the Christians who worked so hard to erase them and demonize them. Thinking of it like that makes the pill that is LO go down easier. lol! But we all have to find our own sugar that helps the medicine go down.
But putting my Cap Moon aside for a moment and bringing my dreamer idealist water signs back to the convo, I do believe there is something that can be done to possible change things up a bit.
Worshipers creating their own media.
We are the change, my friends. We really cant rely on non-worshipers to tell the stories that only we can.
So yeah those are my thoughts.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Irene as Hecate:
Goddess of Magic and Witchcraft 🔮🌟
Hecate (or Hekate) is a goddess in ancient Greek religion and mythology, most often shown holding a pair of torches, a key, snakes, or accompanied by dogs, and in later periods depicted as three-formed or triple-bodied. She is associated with crossroads, entrance-ways, night, light, magic, protection from witchcraft, the Moon, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants, graves, ghosts, necromancy, and sorcery. Hecate was the only child of the Titans Perses and Asteria from whom she received her power over heaven, earth, and sea. Irene was chosen as Hecate because of her connection to magic and witchcraft in her story, Sins of London.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Lori Kaplan as Amphitrite:
Goddess and Queen of Sea 🌊
In ancient Greek mythology, Amphitrite was the goddess of the sea, the queen of the sea, and the wife of Poseidon. She was a daughter of Nereus and Doris (or Oceanus and Tethys). Under the influence of the Olympian pantheon, she became the consort of Poseidon and was later used as a symbolic representation of the sea. Her Roman counterpart is Salacia, a comparatively minor figure, and the goddess of saltwater. Lori was chosen as the Queen of the Sea because of her connection to the ocean.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Nikkal as Hestia:
Goddess of Fire and Hearth 🔥
Hestia is the Greek virgin goddess of the hearth, family, home, state and domesticity, who is also associated with cooking, virginity as well as sacred and sacrificial fire. In myth, she is the firstborn child of the Titans Cronus and Rhea, and one of the Twelve Olympians. Nikkal was chosen for being a Fire Mage in The Flower From Tiamat's Fire, but with some modifications, because in addition to Hestia being a virgin goddess, her outfit is not so revealing as in the edit and they have opposite personalities. This one is more about aesthetic~

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Laia Burnell/Lale Khatun as Psyche:
Goddess of the Human Soul 🧚🏻‍♀️🌟
Psyche was the goddess of the soul in ancient Greek and Roman mythology. Born a mortal woman, her beauty rivaled that of Aphrodite and inspired the love of Aphrodite's son, Eros, god of love. After completing a series of seemingly impossible tasks to be with Eros, Psyche was granted immortality and made into a goddess herself. When turned into a goddess she appears with Butterfly wings on her back. Laia was chosen for having the status of "soul light" in Dracula: A Love Story. I also think her and Vlad's story is similar at some extent to Eros and Psyche story (of course, if your LI is Vlad).

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Selena/Lilith as Selene:
Goddess of Moon 🌙
In ancient Greek mythology and religion, Selene is the personification of the Moon itself. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens. Also known as Mene, she is traditionally the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and sister of the sun god Helios and the dawn goddess Eos. Her Roman equivalent is Luna.
Selena was chosen for this goddess for obvious reasons. Although I wished her name and meaning to gain more repercussions in the story :(

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Liv as Bia:
Goddess of Strength and Violence 💪🏽
Bia was the goddess or personified spirit of force, power, might, bodily strength and compulsion. She, her sister Nike (Victory), and brothers Kratos (Cratus, Power) and Zelos (Rivalry), were the winged enforcers of Zeus. In Mount Olympus she was almost always seen beside him as he sat on his throne, tasked with enforcing his orders whenever he required an act of strength. Bia was never recorded as marrying or having children in the myths. Liv was chosen for Bia because of her warrior-like personality. Also, the relationship dynamics with Odin and the Valkyrie reminds us of Bia with Zeus.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Theodora Avery as Hebe:
Goddess of Youth ♾
Hebe (also called Ganymeda), is the Olympian goddess of youth, prime of life and the former cupbearer of the gods according to Greek Mythology, serving their nectar and ambrosia. She also was worshipped as the goddess of forgiveness or mercy at Sicyon. As a Goddess, she has the unique ability to return youthfulness to mortals. She was also the first cup-bearer and besides that, she helped them maintain their youthfulness.  Theodora was chosen as Hebe due to her status as an immortal. Her clothes are simpler but accentuate her youthfulness, just like Hebe.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Yasmin Al-Aziz as Tyche:
Goddess of Luck and Fortune 🍀💰
Tyche was the goddess of fortune, chance, providence, fate and luck. She was the presiding tutelary deity who governed the fortune and prosperity of a city, its destiny. In Classical Greek mythology, she is usually the daughter of the Titans Tethys and Oceanus, or sometimes Zeus. The Greek historian Polybius believed that when no cause can be discovered to events such as floods, droughts, frosts, or even in politics, then the cause of these events may be fairly attributed to Tyche. She also carries a horn, that is full of coins, money and gold. Yasmin was chosen as her story is intertwined with the fate of her city - Sefer.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Michelle as Terpsichore:
Muse, Patron and Goddess of Lyric Poetry and Dancing 💃🏽🎶
Terpsichore  is one of the nine Muses, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, and goddess of dance and chorus. She is perhaps the most widely known of the Muses, her name having entered general English as the adjective terpsichorean (“pertaining to dancing”). In some accounts she was the mother of the half-bird, half-woman Sirens, whose father was the sea god Achelous or the river god Phorcys. Terpsichore is usually depicted sitting down, holding a lyre, accompanying the dancers' choirs with her music. Michelle was chosen as this goddess because she is a choreographer in her story, Seduced by the Rhythm.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Mia as Phoebe:
Titaness of Prophecy (and sometimes the moon) 🌙🤫📜
Phoebe was a Titan goddess with the gift of prophecy. She was one of the 12 descendants of Uranus and Gaea. Like all her sisters, she was never involved in the battle between the Olympian gods and the Titans. Phoebe, though not very well known on her own, is associated with many powerful aspects of Greek mythology. She was the elder goddess of intellect but is mostly known for her prophetic powers at the Oracle of Delphi. Many would argue that her legacy lies in her grandson, Apollo. Phoebe’s symbols include the Oracle of Delphi and the moon, because of her granddaughter Artemis. Mia was chosen as Phobe due to her history being intertwined with the moon and prophecies. In addition to being a predecessor of the books related to these elements in RC, just as Phoebe is of Selena and Artemis (and coincidentally the following MCs have the same name).

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Agatha Harris as Nemesis:
Goddess of Revenge and Retribution ⚖🗡
In ancient Greek religion, Nemesis, also called Rhamnousia or Rhamnusia, was the goddess of revenge, indignation against, and retribution for, evil deeds and undeserved good fortune. She was a personification of the resentment aroused in men by those who committed crimes with apparent impunity, or who had inordinate good fortune. Nemesis was often sometimes depicted as a winged goddess. Agatha was chosen as Nemesis because her story - Chasing You - is intertwined with the theme of revenge and its consequences, from beginning to end.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Adelaide as Gaia:
Goddess of Earth 🌎
The first deity in all of Greek mythology, Gaia was the personification of the earth and the universal mother. With her offspring Uranus, who symbolized the heavens, Gaia moulded the universe to her liking. Her role in Greek mythology is sometimes contradictory or surprising. She helped her son Cronus overthrow his father, Uranus, but later ushered in another new era in the history of the gods by nurturing the young Zeus and helping him dethrone Cronus. In many of her myths, Gaia also became an opponent of Zeus and attempted to overthrow him on several occasions. Adelaide was chosen for Gaia because she's the primordial MC from Romance Club.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Emma as Clymene (or Asia):
Goddess of Fame and Renown 🌟
Clymene (or Klymene) was a Titan goddess in Greek mythology, daughter of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys, thus making her an Oceanid. She was the goddess of renown, fame, and infamy. She was married to the Titan Iapetus, and they had four sons, Atlas, Epimetheus, Prometheus and Menoetius. Clymene was also called Asia and in this guise identified as the Goddess of Anatolia. In ancient Greek vase paintings she appeared as a handmaiden of Hera. Emma was chosen for obvious reasons, as we can see her trying to achieve fame at all costs in My Hollywood Story.
