スマホの運用をXperia Ace + OPPO Reno5Aの二台体制としていましたが。通信とか支払系をXperia Aceに寄せたので、ゲームやらWebやら担うOPPO Reno5Aは国内向け端末である必要も無くなりまして。 OPPO Reno5Aもだいぶ使ってきたのと結局Android 13が来るのか来ないのかもわからず。もちろん12でも全然不満は無いのですが、もう14って話なのに。。。と言うことでカスタムROM含めて色々遊べそうな端末を買おうってことで、AliExpressとかを物色 (しばらく見てると、広告でサジェストされるようになるので、それを眺めつつ考える感じでｗ) 結局そこそこのお値段で見つけたredmi note 12 turboをポチることに。到着まで1か月かかるという話だったのですが、2週間もしないうちに到着。ありがたいですね。

中華ROM版だとGooglePlayストア入れたりする必要があるようなのですが、ありがたいことに既にショップ側でグローバルROMを入れてくれていました(所謂POCO F5化)。中華ショップの素晴らしい仕事振りには大変感謝はしているのですが。。。流石にショップが焼いたROMの状態でそのまま使うのはと思ってしまいまして。結局ブートローダーアンロックしたうえでeuROMを焼いて利用しています。 (アンロックしていないショップROMとブートローダーアンロックのeuROMどちらがいいかと言う話はありますが。。。) まだMIUI版のROMしか無さそうなので、HyperOS出てきたら試したいところですねー。

使い心地に関しては流石にSnapdragon 7+ Gen 2ってことで快適に使えますねー。ゲームもサクサク動くし、不安定な感じも無く快適そのものですねー。 OPPPO Reno5でも殆ど不満無かったので当たり前と言えば当たり前ですが。まぁ、最近のこのクラスのスマホであれば不満になるってことはほぼ無いでしょうし。。。１つだけ難を言うと、指紋認証の位置が右側の電源スイッチと共用ってのがちょっと使いにくいですね。右手で持つなら親指でちょうどいいのですが、左手で持つと人差し指使うことになるのですが画面サイズと相まってちょっと遠くてタッチしにくいですね。。。出来れば背面がありがたいのですが。。。

さて、今回も最後に検討候補をダラダラと。

■realme GT Neo 5 7+ Gen2搭載のNeo 5 SEだと、Redmi Note 12 turboと比べるとちょっとお高めですが、無印Neo 5だと初代とは言え8 Gen1搭載。かなり魅力的ではありましたね。。。ただ、realmeは何故かカスタムROM少なめの印象があったのと、7+で十分ってことで回避。

■Vivo iQOO Neo 8 こちらも8 Gen1搭載で、Realme GT Neo5よりもコスパよさそう。 Dimensity 9200搭載のNeo 8 Proも含めてコスパは魅力的でした。

■OnePlus Ace Pro 先代ではありますが、スペックも悪くないしそこそこの値段で出てました。

■Xiaomi 13T 出た直後ながらキャリア売りで結構いい感じの値段で出てましたね。契約無しでもそれなりの価格で買えそうな感じもあったのですが。。。しがらみ無しで買うのは予算的に厳しいので。。。

■Pixel 7a これもそれなりのお値ごろな価格で出回ってました。たまにはGoogle純正も悪くないですよね。手に入れておくと下取りで乗り換えたりも出来るし。

色々見たのですが、結局8 Gen1よりは7+ Gen 2で十分ではとなって今回はredmi note 12 turboとなりました。 8 Gen2クラスはちょっとさすがにお高かったので。。。
