Nicholas Bowen “Topper” Headon (born 30 May 1955), who is best known as one of the drummers for the band The Clash joined the band in 1977 and was later released from the band in 1982 for his heavy drug use. After he joined the band and he wanted to stand out as an excellent drummer and was able to use his skills as a drummer to up the sound of The Clash. Headon began as a jazz drummer so he adapted his style to fit the punk sound of the band he is a finesse drummer, Most punk bands rip through each song clammering along but, they soon changed up and slowed down. Topper was one of punk’s best drummers with a mature sound which gave them an advantage. He may have only played with the band for a short time Topper was able to play on some of the Clash’s played in their “classic era” it’s unfortunate his addictions got the best of him. After cleaning himself up Headon played in several bands even forming a small Jazz bandHeadon now lives a simple life in England, giving lectures on drug abuse dangers and giving drumming tutorials and lectures on the music he occasionally will play with other bands. Headon played perfectly with each song if he needed to rip through a faster track he never missed a beat if it was a little more experimental he was on the beat as well. He is still a major part of punk music.

There's so little love in this world but inside of me there's loads of it and i don't know with whom i should share it besides me and my friends..

For most of my life i've been listening to Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and other makers of reggae music and for last 2 years I've been feeling this lack of love and respect in this world. Feels like nothing changed.. We feel empty with no feelings and need of living because we haven't heard the truth.. every little thing is falling apart and I Feel the pain of this world while smuthering in pollution. The problem is that we don't stand together anymore and They don't want to see Us unite they just want us to keep killing and hating each other so I think that NoW is the Time to get together and make some change and fight for our rights because if We don't make some change nobody ever will!!!!!

Paul D. Hudson  (born 11 February 1956), known by the stage name H.R. (Human Rights), is one of my favorite figures in punk, the eccentric and charismatic frontman of the most popular all-black punk/hardcore Washington D.C.-based band Bad Brains. Bad Brains helped coin the phrase “ moshing” and opened the door for more explosive lead singers and wild crowds in punk music. H. R. was known for his high energy while performing with the band and his P.M.A. ( positive mental attitude) in his younger days; he also learned to do a backflip or two during a Bad Brains show. His voice and energy were perfect for the band’s sound. Now, H.R. mostly does reggae/ dub shows; He’s not doing backflips anymore and doesn’t have the same wild energy, but he brings it in other ways.

I had the pleasure of meeting him twice. The first time after one of his shows was in 2005. He was very down-to-earth and quite friendly. I saw him again in 2019, and he was just fun and laid back when I visited him years ago. H.R. is complex and still very simple. A documentary on his life called Finding Joseph shows how he switched from punk to reggae, then back to punk again. It was nice to hear accounts of how he influenced the lives of fans and peers. The most crucial part delves into some mental issues he dealt with and overcame. I knew he had problems but didn’t know the severity. He is a fantastic artist to see live. Band Brains with H.R. may not have been the first all-black punk band; they can bring a solid mix of hardcore/punk, reggae, and metal. H.R. Bad Brains’ music has been among the most influential hardcore/punk bands in the past 40 years, and  H.R.’s energy, along with his P.M.A., will always be imitated, never duplicated.
