Hello, December. Here's my 2nd half (and final) of my 'High Purity Copper Wire Replacement Audio' for my QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones, or as I call it my 'audio wire replacement' (, feat. my paper dolls).

• Here's a preview of installing my two AK6 Pro earpieces to my new 'audio wire replacement'. 🎶🎧🙂 My paper dolls are excited to wear it. Don't you worry, you two. I hope your ears we're fit. Hehe 😅 Nonetheless, here's my 2nd recorded video. 🎦📲

• Here's me connecting two audio pieces into one, and it fits perfectly! 🎧🎶😊 Once again, my apologies for the awful background, despite my current smartphone (the Honor 8C) doesn't have noise cancelling / anti-background sound feature. 🚫🎶🏙️📲

• [22nd & 23rd Image] Finally, the installation is complete! Care to wear it, you two? 🎧😊 "Yes, please" said my paper dolls. [24th Image] Mmmmm... 🤔 A-Okay, but uhh... I think, would it better if you two wear my headphones over earphones, Okay? 😊 My paper dolls completely agree.

• Now, let's go to the actual wear, featuring "ME!". 😊 You can see these photos of mine, they fit well on both of my ears just like before 👂🙂👍. Sound-wise, the sound quality is the same as I expected 🙂🎶👌, but say cannot be said for the quality of ear hooks. You see, upon wearing these or taking off after hours of listening, the material for the ear hooks feels quite flimsy than the original one. 🪢 👂🎧🤔 My OG audio wire's ear hooks used to have a solid bend without worrying about. On top of that, the wiring itself feels quite light, making it easy to snap after a long use (, as I predict 🤔). Not to mention, the slippery and glossy appearance of the wiring. Though, I'm not sure if this replacement could last as long as the original one. But, we'll see in the endurance durability pace for my new audio wire. On the plus side, it is as comfy as before without hurting my ears; not even once.

• As of today (Dec 15th, 2023), I have no issues whatsoever, so far. I've tested it on my Honor 8C phone to see the function of the controls (play/pause, and the volume buttons), and it worked well. And with the volume controls on my IEM earphones, I don't have to reach my phone just to adjust the volume for hearing purposes. 🎧📲😊👍

Overall & Asking Price:

• Despite material differences between the OG and the replacement one, I'd say if your OG audio wire was busted after the lifespan was dead, a replacement for your current IEM earbuds is a better choice. 🎶🎧😊👍 Not only the audio wire replacements deliver the same quality sound as the original, but they also it'll save your budget, as well, if you have existing functional IEM detachable earpieces. Because some people like me, don't want to spend another spare of regular earphones with no detachable feature, right? Well, okay I guess that is debatable (BUT). 🤔Nonetheless, I think every IEM budget owners should buy this if they so desire. 😊

• As for the price, I order it from Shopee PH for only ₱ 145 [CLICK ME!] 🏷️. 🇵🇭🛒🌐 There's also an additional ₱10 for the pouch, but I rather not spending it. Considering, that I have tons of pouches to used. 🙂 There's also available on Lazada PH [CLICK ME!] 🇵🇭🛒🌐, as well albeit a different price than Shopee 🏷️, plus there's a Type C variant and different style choices.

Here it is! This is my last item review for 2023, the "High Purity Copper Wire Replacement Audio" [Model name: "HC001ABK"] for my existed QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones by the folks of Popcorn Tech. 🙂🎧🎶 Mmmmm... I would like to call it "Audio Wire Replacement", for now on. 🙂 So, will it worked on my current IEM Earphones? Let's find out. 🤔

So, without further ado, let's get started:

• [5th & 6th Images] Alright so, let's have a comparison with my old one (from the original box), while I'm making an explanation why I bought this replacement. I have a ton of photos, so let's keep rolling.

• The reason why I need it as urgent was because of our new pet bunny 🥰🐰🤗 (yes, we do have a pet domestic rabbit gifted by our related family tree) chewing on my OG audio wire, while I was sleeping at midnight. Apparently, My IEM earphone was felt beside our pet rabbit's cage before it chewed. 🐰 (Reason? Because my parents bought a ton of item goods to sell for our small business, which ended up in our living room) And what you see now (followed by other snapshots) are the remaining pieces of my OG audio wire, and that's why I need a replacement for my current IEM. As I said before, owning an IEM had a huge advantage over ordinary/regular earphones was the ability to detach the earpiece from the old audio wire and in favor of the new one. As for our beloved pet rabbit, we've decided to move to the backyard, along with our beloved mixed breed canine (named "Buster") during the cleaning schedule. 😊🐶

BTW: While I can't show ya our actual pet rabbit, instead here's a video of our exact pet rabbit breed 🥰🐰🤗 → [CLICK ME!]. As for our mixed breed canine? Well, sadly, I have no information on what breed he/she is... Sorry. 🤔 Anyways, let's go back to my review.

• [7th to 19th Images] As I said before, here are the remaining of my OG audio wire from QKZ, completely snapped and chewed by our beloved pet rabbit. Nonetheless, the comparison between my old and new audio wire is completely identical (from the C Pin to the ear hooks, and even the Y-shaped splitter. Not to mention, the material used), almost. 🙂 Because there are notable things that I've found except the yellowish color of the QDC C Pin 🤔, like their controls. [12th & 13th Images] The OG had a single play/pause/call button, while the 'audio wire replacement' had included the volume buttons (alongside the aforementioned one) to prevent reaching our smartphone for adjusting our music sound 🚫✋🎶📲, which is good. 🙂👍 [19th Image] Another one was the missing logo from the new 'audio wire replacement'. Yeah, there's nothing special about it 🤷, since this 'audio wire replacement' had strong compatibility with other IEM brands, not just for QKZ models (like my AK6 Pro), as long as you're using the C Pin variant over other IEM audio pins. 🎶😉

My QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 1 (2nd half) [Oct 8th, 2022]

Hello! Here's my continuation of Part 1's (2nd half) QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones (featuring my paper dolls)! 🙂

So, without further ado, let's get started!

23rd to 25th Image(s) ↑:

• Inside of this bag are the QDC C pin audio cable & a small pack that contains different rubber tip size & a shirt clip.

26th & 27th Image(s) ↑:

• Now, let's discuss about this IEM audio cable, there are different types of IEM plug-ins on the audio market, some we're straight & standard arrangement, while others are in reverse arrangement, and the latter was this QDC C Pin (which according to IEM enthusiasts). I can't wait to try it out, and hear the difference between the IEM & a normal earphones. Yes, I don't have the knowledge about these IEM earphones, but I'm just getting started. Don't worry. Uh yeah, and you may noticed that their wires are in curved from a thin plastic tube to hold up instead of the traditional downward wire.

28th & 29th Image(s) ↑:

• The wire itself had a built-in Mic & a single button. Some without mic, but I rather want a mic built-in. Without it, I won't able to pause/play the music or call someone without reaching my phone. The only wish I want to add is the volume rocker. ➕🎚️

30th to 32nd Image(s) ↑:

• While wire itself is still wrap around in circles, let's talk about the audio jack. Yes, it's an L shape form, but what's intrigue me are the audio jack cap & a nice old QKZ logo (Hmmm is that familiar to you? 🔺🤔).

• A solid plastic splitter looks cool, but I notice something. The wires we're pretty odd twisty look, whereas on the other side had a chain shaped look. 🔀⛓️🪢 Sounds new to me, considering that I always used normal earphones with their straight wires.

33rd to 35th Image(s) ↑:

• [33rd Image] Question, how long is this weird twisty wire? Well, this long; at about 120 cm / 1.2 meters.

• [34th & 35th Images] "Wow, what a weird cable look!" My paper dolls said. I know right, can't wait to connect these in my next part.

Overall:

• I'm starting to embrace with my first owned IEM earphones from QKZ. I love the edgenuity & the construction concept. I mean, a removable wire earphones is something that I want. Once it broke for a long periods of time, I could buy a replacement, although, depending on what brand & quality I've bought. So, this is just the beginning, and here's hoping that IEMs could be my best replacement to the disposable normal & undetachable earphones. Who knows? I'll be testing it, and showing ya how to connect earphones from the wire, next week. 🙂

My QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 1 (1st half) [Oct 8th, 2022]

Hey, hey! It's my first ever In-Ear Monitor Earphone, and my first cheapest IEM, too! 😁🎶

So, here's my Part 1 (1st half) of QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones (featuring my paper dolls)! 🙂

For this part (two part half), where take a look at my first ever owned IEM earphones by the folks of QKZ, a China based brand that focuses on audio products (much like ZNT audio) 🇨🇳🎧🎶. I've been using normal earphones/earbuds for life (from plugging to MP3 players, MP4 players, Nokias, and now smartphones), but with this unique format of earphones is about to change. Hmmm, will it? So, without further ado, let's get started:

1st to 4th Image(s) ↑:

• Let's start out with the box itself. I got a say, it looks stunning yet sorta cheap looking(?) (at least in my opinion). There are some specs & information about the AK6 Pro on both sides & behind. On the 4th image shows the available selection of colors, I ended up with Blue & Purple because it's a unique color combination. If only a solid blue will be added to AK6 Pro's selection, but I digress.

5th Image ↑:

• My paper dolls says that the packenging is pretty neat to look, but can we take a look? Of course, I'm attempting it, right now. 📦🙂

6th Image↑:

• Upon unwraping the plastic package, I took one more picture for their address details & email, as well as the name of the company. It's a good thing, that they include English for outside China. 🙂👍

7th & 8th Image(s) ↑:

• Once opened, it reveals a "thank you" & "The Future of Audio", along with two IEM earphones snugged perfectly from a solid cardboard.

• My paper dolls say that these earphones are small. Yeah, I didn't expect that these earphone we're small instead of the opposite size, but that's just me. Hehe.

9th & 11th Image(s) ↑:

• Here's the side & back of the inside cardboard, with two default earplugs already equipped.

• [11th Image] Alright, let's get rid off earphones, it pops up very easily.

12th to 19th Image(s) ↑:

• Now, let's focus on their earphones. I got a say, they're look pretty amazing. The transperancy mixed with blue & purple colors, and not to mention the sparkling dots are astonishing. After all, it's my first time looking at it. The gold dots, logos, and text are added to their color contrast, with the latter reads "AK6 Pro HiFi-Dynamic". And thanks with their transparent plastic material, you could see the interior of the dynamic audio drive, as well as their QDC C pin connectors (although, we'll get to that in my 2nd half).

• [18th & 19th Images] Finally, the net shell was slapped on their ear tip to prevent unwanted earwax. I'll make sure that I'll clean it with a tiny brush after a long used, as well as the rubber tips.👂🧽

20th to 22nd Image(s): ↑

• My paper dolls says that they want to try on! Umm, are your ears made of paper? Hehe I don't think, that they won't fit in. But, at least they appreciate their gorgeous earphones.

My QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Oct 26th, 2022]

Hello! Here’s Final Part (Part 2) of my QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones (featuring my paper dolls)! 🙂

⚠️IMPORTANT ANNOUCNEMENT:⚠️

• So, before I proceed to my final part, I want to apologize for the delay because... Well, Half a week ago, I got a volunteer job as a street cleaner for 10 days 🏙️🧹🗑️👷, from 8 AM to 12 NOON 🕗🕛🗓️ (from Oct. 13th [Thursday] to 22nd, 2022 [Saturday]). And, I was gonna continue my topic after my day shift cleaning & I can't wait to try out my first owned IEM (In-Ear Monitor) earphones. However, I can't handle my body, so I have to adjust my time management, or at least I'll keep working for 10 days before it's over on Saturday. Not to mention, the one requirement I need to submit, and that is the street cleaner record w/ pictures 📝🖼️. You don't know what it is, but it's important to my "clean mates" or "clean crew". Regardless, my volunteer street cleaner is over, I've already passed my record, and I'm finally back in my saddle. 🙂 The only thing I'll be wait is my salary. And according to officials said had to wait for 10 days before I received my payment salary via send money delivery. 🕰️💵🚚 So yeah, at least I'm having fun cleaning outside w/ other "clean mates". Hmmm, is that the real word? 🤔 But I digress.😅

And now, back to my topic...

• So, for this final part, I'm testing out my first ever owned IEM earphones from the folks of QKZ & see if I can comparison with my ZNT earphones (Model R620) from earlier this year. As well as, my thoughts & opinions about the QKZ AK6 Pro. Is it good or not? Let's find out! 🙂

• Here, you can see I'm connecting the IEM earbuds to the QDC C Pin. Since it's my first time doing so, I have to research how to connect properly when using IEM earphones. And so, after a few minutes to figure it out, I manage to connect correctly. What's very interesting to me is the ability to swap any IEM earbuds from different brands, as long as it's matched with the QDC C Pin, and not other pin types.

• [1st & 2nd Images] And here's what should it looks like. Hope my ears fit with these. 😊👂 But, what if my paper dolls will wear these? 🤔

• [3rd Image] Uh... I don't think it work on them. lol 😅

4th to 8th Image(s): ↑

• Now, before I tested out with my ears, let's have a comparison with my old ZNT earphones (R620), and you could see they look different in their own design; from the earpieces to their controls (one has a volume adjuster [ZNT] & other doesn't have but one button [QKZ]), and even their 3.5 mm audio jacks (one is straight [ZNT], and other was in L-shape form [QKZ]).

9th & 10th Image(s): ↑

• And finally, their cable lengths. They're pretty much the same length as you expect; about 120 cm or 1.2 meters long. Not to mention, their different quality of audio wires. Right, paper dolls? Yeah. 😊

• Alright, it is time to wear these cool IEM earphones into my ears! And here's what should it looks like! (both right & left ears) 😁👂🎶 If you don't know how to wear IEM earphones on your ears, then there's a tutorial about that → [CLICK ME!].

• Now, let's discuss the AK6 Pro's signature sound. I have to say, I'm very impressed. 👍 Both bass, treble, high & lows, and even mids are pretty nice, in my respective opinion. 🙂👌🎶 And when I compare it to my old ZNT (R620) earphones, their sound signatures differ. Uh yeah, and there are no muddy sounds on the AK6 Pro (as of now), which is good for me. 😊 Again, I had no experience wearing IEM earphones, but I'm just getting started (or embraced it), don't worry. 😉 The only negative I could think of was the longevity of usage, specifically the ears. You see, I've been wearing AK6 Pro earphones on both ears for about 1 to 2 hours, and I've experienced a cramp on my left ear when I touch or adjust my left audio wire. 😣👂💢 My right ear, on other hand, was surprisingly long-lasting without a teensy pain. Other than that though, I'm having so much enjoy with the QKZ AK6 Pro. 😁👂🎶

• Finally, let's try to compact my AK6 Pro onto my earphone pouch case, and it fits very well when I close & zip the cover thanks to their odd knot audio wire construction. 🙂👍 I make sure that this wire is perfectly circled before I place it in my black pouch. While some argue that the construction wire was unlikely to their own personal taste, but for me, I'm fine with that. As long as the wire itself is long lasts. Otherwise, I might buy a new replacement albeit a different kind with a different brand, and also in QDC C Pin format. Right, my paper dolls? They both totally agree! ☺️

Overall & Price:

• What can I say, this earphone is just what I need! Great signature sound, the appearance looks neat by today's IEM earphone standards, and lastly the cheapest IEM earphone that can detach the wire & plug in a different IEM wire or vice versa. The AK6 Pro from QKZ had checked its boxes, and I'm having fun listening to it with my favorite music tracks! 😌🔉🎶 Right now, I'm listening to Video Game Lo-Fi (Low-Fidelity) music like DJ Cutman & GameChops in their own Livestream YT! 🎮🎶 [CLICK ME! #1], [CLICK ME! #2].

• As for the price tag, like I said, it's pretty damn cheap! At only 🏷️ ₱247 (or roughly $4.23 [as of today]) with shipping fee included from Lazada PH 🛒🌐🇵🇭 [CLICK ME!]. And as of this typing, Lazada PH is having a discount sale from Oct 28th to 31st, 2022. So, if you're planning to get cheap IEM earphones & not rely on expensive ones, then this one is you.
