There's so much I could say about Cynthia's coming out scene

From the small differences in their reaction between each question

Or the way Cynthia's mood immediately changes when Nancy mentions the play

To the way their hands are still dirty from working on the car for some reason I can't explain feels like a giant gut punch

Or the little short breath nancy take when she reads the note, how her hand shake a little

Or the way Cynthia curls up a little more in fear of what Nancys gonna say

Or the way Cynthia almost seems dissociated while Nancy reads the note, not really in the room anymore, probably too terrified of what's gonna happen to bear to witness it

Or the fact that Nancy knows Cynthia so well she said the perfect thing, that she either said something to make cynthia laugh, or the laugh was just one of relief bc Cynthia wouldn't have to lose one of her best friends

i love dawn and willows relationship like- so much. So honestly one of the things i spend most time thinking about is like times theyve bonded in the fake memories.

you want examples? well, i will provide:

the first time they met. willow is over at buffys house for the first time. she has no clue buffy has a sister cause buffys embarrassed. dawn has heard all about willow cause buffy thinks willow is fucking awsome. dawn pretty instanly very much agrees. Willow eats dinner at the summers, the whole family is bickering and apologises for it but willow being used to quiet and cold or just lonley dinners adores it.

Halloween in s2. Joyce is out of town (like in canon) and buffy sure as hell doesnt want to take dawn. and joyce doesnt want her with a stranger so willow offers to take her with the rest of her kids. Dawn who hasnt hit her growth spurt can wear the same costume as last year(a witch) and stays herself the whole night. When willow leaves the group to talk to giles she puts dawn in charge to make sure no one gets themselves or anyone else killed, her included. cause with slayer princess, shooty xander and cordelia, shes the most reliable and she knows dawn can be responsible if it calls for it, sometimes. Dawn loves willow more than ever and when its all over she quietly admits she was terrified and willow says she did wonderfully.

the end of s2. dawn is staying over at the hospital while willow is in her coma (and that way misses buffy and joyces fight). Shes as terrified as the rest. shes there when willow does her first spell, she thinks its so much cooler than being a slayer.

between season 2 and 3. joyce is depressed and spending alomst all her time looking for buffy. willow is guilty cause she thinks she failed the soul spell, and therefore caused buffy running away. she comes over with cookies and realises dawn is kinda being neglected, so she offers to babysit. Joyce appreciates it a lot. willow thinks its nice too, takes her mind of her guilt and this way she can get out of her empty house and almost pretend she has a family.(she does, the scoobies, dawn and joyce included, but like yk what i mean, normal family)

gingerbread. MOO never tried to kill dawn but they stopped her from interfering and kept her close saying stuff like "were doing this for you, the children". She doesnt talk to her mom to at least a week and when she bumps into Sheila in the street she spits on her.

willow for a while (between s5 and s6) being more usel to buffys dead or just cold still body than her alive one…

cause not only did she have to fix the buffy bot and reprogram it but it was probably her that prepared Buffys body for the funeral. (Anya, giles and Tara were all hurt, spike obviously wasn’t allowed near it, and OF COURSE it wasn’t Dawn) xander and Tara probably tried to help, but I think Xander was more focused on his hurt fiancé and Tara tried to help Dawn (who was also hurt).

imagine spending all day every day for weeks with either your best friends dead body or the broken bot made in her image that you have to rebuild knowing it isnt her and that it’ll only make it harder for all of you to heal.

imagine healing your best friends corpses injuries knowing it’s way too late for it to bring her back. Trying to make her look as alive as possible without it actually well making her alive.

So like even if my spider pink ladies au very much says FUck canon, they do all have their own death canon event, so here are my ideas so far

Cynthia - either their dad or mom, both works, but I'm leaning more towards their dad BC they are closer so more angsty

Olivia - Richie possibly, like I'm sorry but it works really well, otherwise maybe some other relative

Jane - her mom or dad, leaning more towards mom here, I'm definitely not killing Frenchie at least

Nancy - i really don't know here, I feel bad killing another parent so idk, plus a parent being the canon event doesn't make as much sense with Nancy as Cynthia and Jane, i could either make up a relative to kill or kill off another t bird and make potato her canon event

okay so like aus, the loml

so btvs pjo au??? yes.

lets start with buffy then, shes a child of zeus. people will say she should be a child of athena but like no. not only does zeus work well with her whole vibe, but her godly parent kinda also has to be a dad because of joyce. like it lines up with the show with the absent father that abandoned them and this way i can kill of joyce when things are going a bit too well for our scoobies (she can be sally Jackson but perma dead)

Dawn is also a child of zeus. possibly in some weird way to bring in the whole key plotline, but thats not something ive figured out yet.

Willow is a child of hades, and before you come at me, yes i know hecate exists. but no1 tara is a child of hecate instead and hades works so well for willow too. first we have this whole thing with their parents, we've met willows mom who suckksss and her dad is even more absent, so therefore godly parent who is a father. then we also have the whole dark willow arc, and just a bunch of really good angst potential of it, plus yk its my au.

since i mentioned her, yes tara is a child of hecate, at least one of the lesbians had to be

xander is a child of hephaestus cause hes a carpenter, i conciderd hermes cause that gives me the vibe of like everyday man but no i settled on hephaestus

if giles even is a demigod, he is a child of athena. which also works well cause he has daddy issues.

anya is a child of nemesis, which is really self explanitory.

cordelia is a child of Aphrodite, which also, obviously.

faith is a child fo ares which i conciderd for both xander and buffy but like nope thats for faith 100%

im not sure how im gonna do with the whole vampires and demons thing, like if im gonna make people evil in some weirdo way. but spike is a child of either apollo or hades. apollo cause of poetry and hes really just a soft sad boy but he wont admit it. and hades because well yeah, plus him and willow being siblings would be great. Tho im more leaning towards him being apollo cause of the next one.

angel is a child of hades, unless i make spike into one, because then angel is a child of ares. both feels self explanitory, alot based on vibe. and since angel gives more child of hades vibes im probably gonna make him into one instead of spike. angel and willow as siblings is about as great as spike and willow as siblings.
