My question to BJP was simple: : Tagore called Gandhi,MAHATMA : Officials at Special Bureau of India in Berlin called Bose,NETAJI : Chandrashekar declared his name to be 'AZAD', before a magistrate. Who called Savarkar “VEER” first? Any guesses?

Apple will begin manufacturing iPhones in India in three months, minister says

Apple, which sees India as a great place to be, could begin manufacturing its iPhones in the country in the next three to four months.

The government of the Indian state of Karnataka has welcomed a proposal from Apple to begin initial manufacturing operations in the state, it said.
"Apple's intentions to manufacture in Bengaluru will foster cutting edge technology ecosystem and supply chain development in the state, which are critical for India to compete globally," the Karnataka government said.

Apple expressed its intentions of manufacturing locally in India last year, but the company was hoping to get some special tax concessions. Officials from both sides met on Jan. 25 to discuss the plan.
In December, Apple partnered with Taiwanese manufacturing company Wistron to begin assembling iPhones and other Apple products at Peenya on the outskirts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
In a televised interview with CNBC-TV 18, Karnataka IT minister Priyank Kharge said today that Apple will begin manufacturing in the state in three to four months.
The Indian government offers various benefits to overseas companies to setup manufacturing plants in India as such efforts help in creation of new jobs and foster the development of cities and states. But according to earlier reports, Apples demands were unprecedented.
Manufacturing locally will further boost Apples business in India, which has been in its best shape in the recent months. Companys CEO Tim Cook said India is "a great place to be," adding that the company had its all-time record revenue in the nation.
Apple sees a big opportunity in India. With iPhones sales slowing worldwide, India has emerged as one of few places that is showing a growing demands for iPhones. The home to over a billion people, there are only about 300 million smartphone users in the country.

Bengaluru launches logo for identity badge 'Brand Bengaluru'
Bengaluru has become one of the first cities to introduce its own identity badge.
In a move to build its image on an international platform, the city has launched its own identity badge 'Brand Bengaluru' with a logo
The logo was unwrapped in the presence of Bengaluru development minister KJ George, Gandhinagar MLA Dinesh Gundu Rao, Shantinagar MLA NA Haris and Bengaluru mayor Sampath Raj on Sunday at Vidhana Soudha.
The tagline of the brand is 'Bengaluru- Be U' (be you).
The logo signifies Bengaluru's cosmopolitan culture, a sense of belonging, 480-year-old history and futuristic outlook.
The logo has been selected from 1,350 entries.
IT-BT and Tourism minister Priyank Kharge said that the "identity" will "tell the Bengaluru stories across the globe".
