Oh boy I can’t wait to see everyone next week wearing Satoshi’s cap while finding for him...it’s gonna be quite the mini-adventure for these Pokémon :3 Also it feels like this is going to be the 2-parter since it will technically be the same episode as today, but in Pikachu’s perspective which is really interesting since they have never done this type of narrative before :o

FINALLY after more than 2 years of anticipation, Guzma makes his presence in the anime. We also get confirmation of a Pokémon League arc that could very well be the closing/final act that the Sun & Moon series will feature before signing off to the next generation. It’s just going to get good from here, so y’all better not sleep on Gen. 7 and Alola just yet! You better stay tuned 👀

We’re going to get RAW again

A statement regarding the future of this blog due to the current circumstances of the admin’s busy schedule:

Good day everyone, it has come to my attention that I feel like I need to change (or should I say revert back) to the format of how I blog every week starting with tonight’s episode. If you have followed my old #pokeani posts in the admin’s main blog (@the-pokemonjesus) from 2014-2018, I usually liveblog about the episode as it is airing in Japan. I am going to go back to that format (as I like to call it Sunday Night PokéAni LIVE! in my tags) for now because of a new job I am currently adjusting to that requires me to travel a lot from one place to another. As you’ve noticed, I’ve been episode blogging really late of the week, and originally when I first started this blog I wanted to post my screen-caps and GIFs either Sunday or Monday after the episode is out with subs. As you can see, I’ve failed to do that. I even struggle sometimes to get my posts by the end of the week because of how busy I am during the day dealing with other things. No one is forcing me to do these because I love this show, and I want to keep my word of covering Pokémon episodes every week (unless of an emergency occurrence). I made the decision to more posts on episodes once the HD subs were out on March 2018 because you can make cleaner quality posts and have a better understanding of the episode (so I know what to caption), and right now I think to retire that format FOR NOW. I could do some occasional GIFs or special dialogues I want to screencap after subs are out (if no one posted on a specific scene yet). I also might fully cover episodes during a special airings or probably when I have the FREE TIME to do it. But as for now, I need to focus on more important things outside of this blog during the week. 

So starting tonight with SM ep. 123, and for the first time since SM ep. 102, I will be live blogging/re-blogging the Pokémon anime episodes RAW every week with the limited amount of resources I have when it comes to posting screen-caps and GIFs. It won’t be as much content compared to how I blog with subs out, so I apologize if I disappoint anyone with that. The only good thing out of it this that at least I’ll be joining those who watch it live on Sundays.

Just thought I’d update all of you without having to suddenly post later, and not posting late in the week after the Sunday airings. See you all tonight ✌️

BLOCK A

Ash vs. Faba - Ash

Ilima vs. Guzma - Guzma

Hau vs. Oak - Hau

Mallow vs. Lana (I’m torn) - Lana

I mean the results are pretty obvious, but hey you never know when it could get unpredictable 👀The main battle is obviously Mallow vs. Lana, but I really do hope the other battles get enough screen-time. If they are following a traditional bracket, does that mean Ash will face Guzma next round and Hau will face Lana? Don’t quote me on this since I have not seen any future spoilers yet.
