I dropped by the flea market and found some incredibly charming picture books! 

"Seitsemän savun peto" (”the beast of seven smokes”), written by Raimo O. Kojo and illustrated by Riikka Juvonen, 1985

“Matka kellojen kaupunkiin” (”journey to the city of clocks”), Matti Louhi, Marjatta Kurenniemi, Pirjo Saana, 1978

“Haamu ja Hassun Pekka” (”the ghost and Pekka of Hassu”) written by Pirkko Huhtanen, illustrated by Urpo Huhtanen, 1980

I’m just! completely enamoured by the artwork in these books. will be adding more pics in another post. I ought to give them a read too so I get a decent idea of what’s going on.
