Muriel & Physical affection HCs

I always feel so weirdly torn about Muriel & physical affection because on the one hand I do realize that he's kinda uncomfy with it in the first half and he's only better with it in the later half because he's grown familiar with MC, but like...

my gut instinct (aka, my need to project my traits onto him) is telling me that Muriel (like myself) is a little touch averse with strangers/people he doesn't know well, and even his friends since he doesn't know whether or not they're comfy with that and is too afraid/awkward to ask, but when given the chance/opportunity to he really really really likes cuddling, and will just absolutely creep up behind you to hug you while you do something. When he works on his carvings, he likes to either have you lean against his back while he works or have you sit in his lap (Only if he's painting/varnishing/whatever tho, he's not going to get wood shavings on you lol) Sometimes he even likes lying down in your lap if you're reading something.

also, also surprise kisses are most certainly a thing between the both of you lol (I know I've already written about this lol but I can't help it I love this idea too much) He just loves to shock you with a little kiss somewhere sensitive on your skin just to see you react with embarrassment or melt in his hands for once. Of course, he's no safer from kisses but he still takes great delight and joy in seeing you get all squirmy for once.

also, Imagine the chaos of the both of you bathing/swimming in a lake or something. With less clothes, Muriel has more access to your skin and will definitely leave some kisses in places he wouldn't have been able to reach before. And even if he practically freezes at the contact, rest assured that he loves you taking advantage of the same thing just as much as you do.

Also I imagine that he has a sort of love-hate relationship with PDA. On the one hand he hates the attention it draws to himself from onlookers. It makes him kinda spiral as he worries about what other people are thinking at seeing him with you, do they think that it's an imbalanced match or something? Do they think he's out of your league? Do they find PDA annoying and see his actions as uncomfortable or gross or rude or annoying??

On the other hand he cannot deny how giddy it makes him feel when he laces his hand with yours and gets to stroll through the streets quietly showing off to everyone else that you are his and he is yours. It's even better and even worse with a kiss. Especially since, if you give him a quick peck on his lips he'll probably want more, but will feel too uncomfortable in the crowds for another kiss, let alone asking for one.

and yet despite that he feels almost entirely fine with feeding you and being fed by you when you buy food in the market. Of course "almost entirely fine" might be a little inaccurate, he's not fine, but only in the best ways possible. He doesn't pass up the chance to lick up crumbs or juice or sauce from your fingertips or down your palm and wrist if it had gotten that far, and he gets very, very giddy when you do the same for him. He'll blush bright red, but it won't impede on him eating more of what you feed him. The only time it'd probably come to a halt is if he catches someone staring at the both of you. You'll be able to thank that random stranger for having to stop your little meal early.

Oh also, also Muriel definitely reads fiction stories. I just can't help but grin at the idea of him reading about some sort of knight in shining armor who gets to kiss their love interest on the back of their hand or along their knuckles as a sign of loyalty and respect, and Muriel just, with almost no explanation at all does the same for you.

Just a couple ideas off the top of my head, would love to give more though :]

Asra

He encourages it 100%

They love hearing you talk, it’s one of their favorite sounds

He may fall asleep tho

If you’re already cuddling, they’re gonna clonk out in minutes

They never mean too but your voice is so soothing to them (after going so long without it)

They look at you with the most adoring gaze the whole time, hanging off your every word (they’re daydreaming your wedding)

They find passion super attractive, they love that you have things that excite you so much

They try to prompt you into a rant often, either when you're both doing things together in the same room or at night as basically a lullaby for them

Faust lays on your shoulders and lays on you as you rant, she squeezes you a little tighter if you're very animated and talk with your hands too

She doesn't mind, she just doesn't want to fall

Julian

You are his type of person

He is the exact same way

You two basically share hyperfixations, like if one rants about one thing for too long then the other gets into it too and you just bounce ideas off each other

Whenever you're both free, at almost all hours can your neighbors hear you ranting

He's a pacer, he's loud, he's dramatic; hell be throwing his arms around everywhere and running his hands through his hair until he's just a ginger blur of motion

You take turns typically, but sometimes you two rant together and feed off each other

Malak gets startled if voices get raised

Sometimes he gets home too tired and he just wants to hear your voice, so you'll take a seat on the couch and he'll rest his head on your lap so you can rant all you want

If you play with his hair absentmindedly, he melts into a puddle

He loves letting your voice wash over him and wash away the day’s exhaustion

Nadia

Loves it

She finds intelligence attractive, and especially if it's something she doesn't know much about

She gets a little flustered

Sometimes if she's in a rush she shuts you up with a kiss and tells you that you'll continue later before going off to her next meeting or event

She doesn't really care what you're ranting about typically, just that you're talking

As in, she'll listen regardless and she'll ask questions to prompt you to keep going

But sometimes she'll just be looking at you with hearts in her eyes after a long day

She rants to you too, occasionally

If you listen to her with the same attentiveness, she practically swoons

Be still her beating heart

If you give her the same treatment, like hanging off her every word and asking questions to prove you were paying attention, she falls in love all over again

Originally, she saw rants as…not very polite I guess

Unstructured, and she wasn’t the biggest fan of them

She felt like they were really emotional, and if she was too emotional she feared she wouldn't be taken seriously

But you take her so seriously no matter what she's doing and she loves you all the more for it

Muriel

Loves them so long as you're not yelling

It takes pressure off of him to talk, so he's content to let your voice fill in the silence as you both go about your days

It takes him a while to feel comfortable enough to ask questions but he gets there eventually

He's very attentive

He doesn't rant very often, but rarely, you can get him talking about something like a rare flower or his favorite type of tree

And if you tell him you just like his voice, his face is on fire

He may have to take a few minutes to reboot

Inanna finds it funny

He loves learning new things, while he preferred his life of isolation compared to living in the city, he didn't always like it

And you ranting to him is an easy way for him to learn too

Portia

She's a lot like Julian

You both take turns

Typically you share a hyperfixation and the Palace library barely survives as you two tear it apart in search for more content

Nadia finds it greatly amusing, not that she’d ever say so

More than once has she gotten up in the middle of the night because she had a new point to rant about

She gets cranky in the morning when that happens tho, she needs her full eight hours so you’ll have to gently judge her back into bed and hope she actually falls asleep

She, like her brother, is also a big blur of movement, pacing and throwing her arms around and hair flying everywhere as if it'll get her point across better

She's just as passionate as you are if not more so; as a servant she feels her words are worth less than others, so it means the world to her that you’re willing to listen to her and she’ll give you the same treatment

She probably hangs off your every word

Lucio

He found it a little weird at first but he got used to it eventually

He tries to listen but finds it hard sometimes

He does prompt you to keep talking though, it’s good practice for him to get used to hearing what others have to say

He mostly just rants when he’s annoyed, but he likes that you do it when you’re excited

After a while together he finds himself actually listening to you and remembering what you say

Like he’d be out and see something that reminds him of our current hyperfixation and he’d buy it for you without a thought

Just because he listens to you doenst mean he always knows what your’re talking about but he does try

M6 and what tattoos i think they would have

Asra

• I can see them having a tramp stamp

• And it's definitely something bad and cringy like "GRL PWR" with little coulds and starts around, maybe a unicorn

• They think it's funny

• I can also see him with a full back tattoo, like really nicely done, every line has a story and a meaning type tattoo

• He's sentimental like that

• For afab Asra, i definitely see them tattooing their top surgery scars, not to hide them but to exaggerate them and bring more attention to them

• Bonus points if they did some tattoos himself

Nadia

• Ok, Nadia either has a little ankle tattoo, nothing too big or too meaningful

• OR she had a full sleeve done and plans to do more

• I don't think her tattoos would have too much meaning behind it besides the fact that they would resemble Prakra and it's culture in some way

• I think she just likes the way they would look on her

• Consider, modern AU biker Nadia, fully tatted out. Yes? Yes.

Julian

• Julian...is tricky

• Because i for sure see him having a big chunk of his body fully tatted out

• Maybe not a full sleeve like Nadia, but definitely a forearm, shoulder or a part of his leg

• And every detail has a meaning, obviously

• He has like a short poem or meaningful quote from an artist he likes on his thigh also

• But

• I also see him waking up hungover one day with hello kitty tattooed on his buttcheek for some reason

• He doesn't know how it got there. He doesn't know WHY it got there. He doesn't even know who did it

• Lowkey really likes it

Portia

• I don't see Portia wanting a lot of tattoos

• She does a few small ones at first, just so she can say she did it

• (They're all cat themed)

• And you really have to look for them yk, they're not in an obvious place

• But after some time, maybe she'll want a few more

• She gets some flowers and gives them meaning

• One for her home, her blood family, her adopted family, her partner...

• It's still nothing huge, but now she can look at it and feel warm inside

• Also, will 100% ask MC to get matching tattoos with her

Muriel

• He doesn't have any

• He doesn't see the point

• They hurt to get, they don't serve a bigger purpose, they require time and money and they bring more attention to him and his body

• Safe to say, he's out

• The only way i can see him having any tattoo is if Asra somehow got a hold of a tattoo gun and pestered him about it

• Even then i don't think it would be anything big

• Maybe like a little smiley face, somewhere unnoticeable

• He says he forgot about it and doesn't care but he looks at it every day before he takes a shower and smiles

Lucio

• Also has a cringy tramp stamp like Asra but he unironically likes it

• In general, i think most his tattoos are stupid

• He has one on his pubic area that says "blow here" with an arrow pointing down

• And a lip tattoo with MCs name

• ...you'll have to beg him to get rid of any of those

• He wants other tattoos, he really does!

• They're really cool and if he has anything it's time and money!

• But he always gets bored during appointments and some of them really hurt so he just leaves half way through, leaving his tattoo unfinished

• If anyone asks or comments on it he says something like "you wouldn't understand my artistic mind" or he would make up a story behind each one

• But in all honesty...even he forgot what he was trying to do and he doesnt wanna go finish it so he just kinda...has a half assed tattoo on his rib

• And yes, his first big tattoo was on his rib, the most painful place he could've chosen. It's Lucio, he didn't think much about it

• Will also ask MC for a matching tattoo, as long as it isn't too big

Bold of you to assume that Asra hasn't sprung glitter bombs on people (mc and Julian) as a joke before.

If you gave him or poured glitter on him he probably wouldn't mind too much but he WOULD get you back.

Julian

If you're going to pour glitter on him, be gentle. Don't scare him, he'll cry in a corner for three hours if he gets scared.

He likes glitter in like, makeup? Like eyeshadow and lipgloss but never like, actual shreds of glitter. He doesn't mind it, though.

Nadia

She likes glitter, sequins are cool, anything sparkly on her clothes? Nice. She doesn't actually see the need for like, packets of glitter. What are you even going to do with it other than throw it at people?

Portia

Okay, she's all about expressing yourself, but she can't stand getting glitter in her hair. Glitter itself? Good, sparkly, sweet. Glitter in her hair? ITCHY.

Obviously she's not going to say anything about if you like glitter but if you like spring any on her you've activated a prank war and you will never escape.

Muriel

Okay, okay. He loves you, he really does, but do you have ANY IDEA HOW LONG IT TAKES TO WASH GLITTER OUT OF A SINGLE OBJECT OF CLOTHING?? ESPECIALLY BACK BEFORE THEY HAD SHOWERS??? And don't go "ohhh but Yanny it's magic they should be able to—" NO. GLITTER SUCKS TO GET OUT OF CLOTHES. BE NICE.

Oh my god, you have no idea how much this man loves glitter.

The texture? 👎 The look? 👍. If he gets glitter stuck in his hair or in his clothes that isn't like, a part of the look? He's absolutely staying in the bathtub or refusing to wear the outfit until he gets it off.

With an important date approaching, Irina's father was fretting that he couldn't find time to go find a suitable gift for his wife. But he quickly found an easy solution to that problem.

Irina.

Without further ado, Arnold got up from his seat to leave his office and look for the eldest daughter, who used to take care of the family's dirty work for him. "Irina, I'm going to have to ask you a favor." He let go directly looking at the blonde with some strands that look like threads of pure gold. Obviously, Irina already knew her father very well and knew very well that when he asked for something, it really was an order that couldn't be refused. Heaving a heavy sigh, she gestured with her eyes for him to tell her what he wanted. "You're going to have to travel to the Makai for me to find a nice present for your mother. It's soon our anniversary but I'm very busy with work." He paused and then continued explaining. "Don't worry about the possible danger, we are already acquainted and I doubt that someone will want to attack you. In part, after all you have served and established ties with a royal of the Adler clan, have you? Go ask her for an invite so you can gain access to her territory, and go out of your way to find something your mother likes. Don't disappoint me." Saying that, Arnold finished before disappearing from Irina's room.

"Fuckin' shitty old man.... I hope your back hurts for 3 months." Irina thought wearily as she got up from her bed. It was her day off and she wanted to rest, but at least she hoped it would be worth the visit since it was the first time she had visited the Makai.

She assumed from Zaliki's way of dressing that it would be quite hot in that place, so to prevent herself from fainting, Irina prepared herself with a light summer outfit, a well-done hairstyle in a braided bun, and grabbed her bag to net inside it. moisturizing and refreshing creams. She slipped on her platform sandals and left the Avenel Manor to find Zaliki's campervan.

Once found, she knocked three times on the door to wait patiently for it to open. The blonde heard some other sudden movement inside so she assumed that the eagle was inside.

Once the door was opened. Irina smiled softly closing her eyes to wave her hand. "Good morning Zaliki, I'm sorry to arrive so unexpectedly, I hope not to disturb... I wanted to ask you if... you could take me on a visit to your kingdom, I need to find a good gift for my mother at the request of my father. Sure, if you can and want to."

Listening to the sound of punk rock genre, Zaliki nodded her head to the beat whilst looking through a magazine of the Jewelry Artist. A glass of wine next to her.

Her companion, or more so, her personal servant, Asra, sat on the floor of Zaliki's bed. Their legs were crossed with a book on their lap and a cup of black tea next to them. It was a peaceful morning for the two before Zaliki decides to ransack an alcohol store for her own entertainment.

Just the mere thought of it made Asra smile a little. They always enjoyed seeing Zaliki having fun without a care in the world, even if it was unbecoming of a Royal, Asra's highest priority is Zaliki's happiness. They wouldn't mind being her sidekick or her partner in crime if it would make Zaliki smile.

Then... something unexpected happen.

A knock was heard on their campervan door. Zaliki and Asra glanced at each other before the latter walked over to check behind a peephole. They soon signaled it was no other than Irina Avenel. Receiving this information, Zaliki quickly scrambled out of her bed. She chucked her headphones away and snatched a black silk robe to cover her half-naked body.

Asra moved to the side as Zaliki opened the door of her campervan, a large grin forming on her face as she greeted Irina with enthusiasm and a loud voice.

"OWL WHORE!" She greeted, pulling Irina into a quick tight hug, " THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE? NEED SOMETHING? "

Hearing the Owl's favor, Zaliki's smile slowly fell from her face. Not that she wasn't looking forward to go back home, it was more so, this was business talk and figured she needed to be serious about this.

Leaning against the frame of her door with a cross of her arms, she nodded. "Yeah, sure. I can take you there. A gift, huh? I guess it's only favorable you get the best gift from my clan. " they wore proud smirk, " Just give me a moment to change, and we'll head over there. Hagiel will scold my ass if I turn up there inappropriately, and I'm not looking for a lecture the moment I get home. "

Closing her campervan door, Asra quickly helped Zaliki in a dress. It was white, sleeveless dress with a plunge neckline that exposed middle of her chest. It was held up with a golden band around her neck and the dress fell all the way down her ankles, yet it had two slits on either side. Her shoes were golden, knee-high, gladiator heels with chains. To top off her entire outfit, she wore hoop earrings, golden armbands and several golden rings with real gemstones. It was a huge difference from Zaliki's usual black and short dresses. This time, she actually looked like a princess.

Reopening the door of her campervan, Zaliki grinned at Irina and gestured her to enter with a jerk of her head.

"Get in. We're going for a long ride. "

Once settled in, Asra took the driver's seat clad in a white formal suit. A stark contrast to Zaliki's more traditional-looking outfit.

Taking a quick glance at Asra, Zaliki whispered to Irina with a short chuckle.

"They wear whatever they want. "

Despite their status as a ghoul and a servant, Asra was given special exceptions with the help of Zaliki and her authority, for Asra was not just a servant to her, Asra was like her sibling; a bestfriend.

The campervan soon roared to life and drove towards a golden pub. A sign named, Ⲛ̄ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟ ( Golden River ), sat upon it.

"We're here." Zaliki hopped out with a the help of Asra, who also gestured a hand to help Irina out of the campervan.

The trio soon entered the place and the bartender managing the pub quickly took notice or Zaliki's appearance and grinned.

"Miss Regular!" He greeted joyfully, "Do you want the usual? " he narrowed his golden eyes.

Zaliki returned his grin, "That's right! Three glasses of Ϩⲉⲙⲕⲓ and a shot of Ⲏⲉⲓ Hagiel. "

" Granted. You can wait for it in the back. " He jerked his head towards a door.

Zaliki nodded at her companions, " Let's go. "

They soon entered the back of the pub and into a black, sleek door with gold engravings. Behind it, was another pub, but the air around the place was incredibly different.

Stepping out, they were greeted with a sight.

Golden eyes stared back at them; wide and observing. Women and men clad in light clothing and jewelry, and the distant sounds of screeching and cheers could be heard. The air was warm, and scent of rich alcohol was everywhere.

They have arrived at Makai.

Specifically, the Eagle Clan.

And soon enough, these men and women got down on their knees and lowered their heads. Eyes slightly piercing through Irina's form, almost in a threatening way but did no action to raise conflict, for they were in the presence of someone large and imposing. Her prideful smile and tall stature towered amongst the present Adlers, spreading an air of dominance and authority. Despite her distasteful reputation, Zaliki was not an Adler to be messed with.

"Her Royal Highness, Princess Zaliki has returned!"

it's been a while! hiiii!

Asra:

Depending on what you smoke, he will be right along for the ride! I know he has an assortment of bongs and pipes and hookah for some of the exotic herbs he comes across in his travels. Getting high together is a weekly thing for the both of you, and it often will lead to lots of cuddles or some sweet, sweet love. I feel like he is the Indica type, but since he is so easygoing, whatever you smoke is what he will smoke. Although, if you smoke cigarettes, I think he wouldn't prefer it. He loves you all the same, so he makes a cute place on your balcony for you to enjoy your smokes! Bonus if you know how to do smoke tricks. He will be so impressed and try to woo you with the ones he knows!

Faust likes to hit the blunt too.

Julian:

You both smoke cigarettes and I think that's canon. You both sit outside on the balcony and overlook the city together. You ALWAYS take your smoke breaks together, along with a cup of coffee in the mornings or some hot cocoa in the evenings if it's cold. He prefers to light his cigarettes with a match and will definitely be a gentleman and light yours too! If you smoke weed or something else, he'd be willing to differ from the routine and give it a try! He has a special place in the house to keep all the cigarettes and smoke supplies, and Malak is constantly trying to get into your supply. Naughty boy.

Nadia:

Although she hasn't liked to admit it, in her younger days, frequenting hookah bars with Lucio is something she enjoyed doing a lot. Sometimes she smokes by herself, so upon finding out you smoke?? She is a little excited! She has a cabinet with expensive glass smoking apparatuses. and only the finest herbs from Prakra, Hjalle, and the Fenekh Desert! One night after dinner, during your bath, she will ask if you want to smoke with her. The answer is obviously yes, so she'll have someone fetch everything you need and the two of you will steam up the bathroom with smoke clouds and a heated encounter soon after. You'll fall asleep cuddling each other, naked, the smell of the exotic herbs mixing with her sweet and stately scent.

Muriel:

"Oh.... you smoke?"

I feel like Asra has tried to get him on the bandwagon in the past, but it wasn't really his style. Maybe he had a bad experience, or he doesn't like to cough. He adores you, no matter what, so if you smoke he won't mind. He probably just asks you to not do it in the hut. Smoking means fire, fire means danger. You could burn down his hut!

But after a time, he would loosen up a bit and maybe want to try again. If hot, smoking Muriel is what you're into, it'll take some work trying to find what he likes. Maybe introduce him to some cigars, or smoking tobacco from a pipe. He will find that it helps him relax, especially if he is anywhere near you! Sometimes you'll come home to find him shirtless on the patio, having a smoke and soaking up the evening sun in nature.

Portia:

She has never smoked before. Well... if you count that one time...

When you offer her a smoke, her eyes will go WIDE.

"w-what? We're gonna smoke? Are you sure?"

You nod and hand it to her. You take to lounging back on the sofa with your arm around her, blowing out a ring. "It's not so bad, just try for me?"

She does it, hesitantly. After a few coughs, she realizes...

She loves it.

You two smoke often, but she soon figures out you can BAKE IT TOO. So lots of weed brownies are in your future. Cannabutter finds a home in your icebox, and she grows a few Marijuana plants in her garden. For your dinner parties that you host, the dessert is more pleasant than people realize. Asra is a frequent guest as Portia's baking really is unmatched.

Lucio:

He already smokes so he isn't surprised. Cigars. Cigarrrrrrs. You started getting them for him for his birthday and for special occasions. He has a fancy cigar box and his collection keeps growing. He appreciates them so much and often times, you find yourself with him at sporting events or at gatherings with his colleagues or friends, and he always has a cigar in hand. He brags about his significant other always making sure he has something expensive to smoke and you beam with pride. If you smoke them with him, great! If you prefer something else, like herbs or cigarettes, he definitely doesn't mind. A few nights after dinner, it's not uncommon to find yourself with him, lounging under your silk sheets wearing nothing but your own skin, passing a blunt back and forth while he rubs your hips. He kisses your shoulder between drags, and soon enough you're either asleep or making sweet love, and there's no better evening than that.
