Lol, I think, since Kakashi is the last member of the Hatake clan, a genius and possessor of awesome genetics, the Konoha council has obviously very gently and very often hinted to him that Kakashi should have a family and children and revive the clan.

And one day Kakashi came to the meeting and said: maa, this is awkward, I'm sorry you weren't informed, but Obito and I are getting married this week.

Council, pointing finger at Obito (in the window), who stumbles at that exact moment, hits his nose on a pole and steps on the cat's tail: is he????
