Lurking for a bit before reaching out is fine, but I would like genuinely interested folks. Optional but I have an Interest Tracker for organization purposes.

Communication is key. My muse might be intimidating, but I'm not-- just very busy and on mobile more often than not. Don’t know something, or want me to elaborate: ask! I forgot a reply or not feeling a thing anymore, lemme know. I'm good. I like get to know the people I write with, it makes me plot things better.

This incarnation Kar is for Contemporary Supernatural/Fantasy/Mythology like verses. You can find the Og/Sci-Fi flavored Kar at @stellevatum.

While she's BPRD based, don’t sweat it if you don’t know the other stuff. If your fandom/verse has a way in, I can finagle her into all sorts of place (she's literally an cosmic horror at heart).

I will interact with Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss muses, even though personally I don't vibe with Viv.

Kar is an ancient cosmic horror who was supposed to destroy all reality. Raised by mortals, so she thought she was. But she's also got other forms, which folks may see.

As for appearance, unless you’re really looking you might notice the fangs. And for the most part, assume she’s wearing her signature sunglasses covering her eyes since those rarely are taken off in public.

While not usually brought up, but Kar has attempted to end her life and self-harmed. Nowadays it’s usually just masked with fatalistic humor, recreational drug use, and lots of drinking.

There will be mentions of Nazis particularly of the occult sort, so if that makes you uncomfortable please feel free to step away.

ASKS:

Askbox will only be open for IC interactions, save for when the meme specifies Mun. IMs are for OOC communication. Anon feature is for sideblogs, multimuses to interact ICly with me. Any Anon messages good or bad directed to the Mun (outside of memes) will be ignored. The Anon feature is privilege, I will revoke it for my well-being if need be.

bestie (nicest way possible) as someone who was new to the fandom last September I wouldn’t recommend making a sideblog and like talking about comics/batfam/etc if you haven’t read the comics? people get really touchy about that, because fanfic interpretation tend to be really far from how characters are in canon (and character relationships get butchered and softened and straight up invented for plot, which once again, creative liberty + that can be fun but often tends to be incredibly ooc & excludes women (cass, helena, steph, etc) or poc (duke (though his case is different considering when he was introduced), cass, damian’s poc but isn’t really ignored) in favor of white boys (jason especially, who shows up far later than said women & isn’t really close to the fam yet fandom tends to give him their relationships with the family) so like...you’ll probably be mostly wrong and people are rather unforgiving about that because they’re tired of people that haven’t read comics talking about the characters (incorrectly) while refusing to interact w/ source material, and it’s a huge problem & very prevalent so I can’t really blame them? idk I just don’t think it’s a good idea unless you want to reblog just art and stuff, which is fine! but like...everything's really confusing w/out proper research if you want to get into the fandom (everything post-reboot/post-2011 is largely ignored unless said otherwise because the reboot was so awful), so i just want to point that out! but I don’t want to be mean, just some advice :) (if you ever change your mind about comics, just give the say so! we’re (and i) am very glad to help you out with what to read and in what order, and take it from someone who was in your position six months ago, they are truly really fun!) /gen /nm

not to worry my friend this sounds pretty much exactly like the dsmp experience where new people never properly interacted with the canon content and the fanon got more and more bastardized over time as a result and everyone got touchy abt it. including me . you could say im familiar . im just on the other side now (oblivious newbie) which should be interesting. i have no intention of treading on anyone’s toes or making assumptions or even talking abt the characters with any sort of authority. if i do make a sideblog it’ll be just to reblog art n stuff.

plus i am ah. very aware that the fanon im consuming is an extremely warped perspective of the actual comics. and with how many different “canons” there are i’m sure it’s a mess. at least in dsmp we could always point back to just the og streams. here i’m gathering there’s 174958637 comics + 284871 writers + movies + live action AND animated tv shows + multiple video games and they ALL have intersecting characters and possible canons it’s giving me a headache just thinking abt it dear lord

so yeah. i’m perfectly happy sequestering myself in an oblivious fanon corner and not claiming to know anything. normally for a new fandom i would seek out the full source material and examine it thoroughly but theres just. too much. and i also just don’t enjoy reading comics. at least not the superhero ones. (i think the art doesn’t appeal to me? and something about the combination of written word and still visual art like. rankles at my sense of pacing and story <- just guessing though) i did watch the under the red hood movie tjough and it was cool so i may do more of those!

i’m glad you said you like talking abt this cause i just wrote you a whole essay lol. if i may ask do you know of any good fanon/fanfic content i could check out that stays mostly true to the comics canon? i’m curious ! but regardless thank you for the very nice message and warning it’s appreciated mwah

EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): Holy fuck if I start I don’t shut up. I started RPing with my close friends when I was... 10? 12? When I finally can use a PC? When I started to use Tumblr I was like... 16?? And from that I’ve been going and leaving time to time, trying characters, memeing around, knowing people... I think I improved my writing a lot thanks to this hellsite.

PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: discord, tumblr, skype (once), msn (god ol’ times), twitter (I don’t like it).

BEST EXPERIENCE: The people I met. I know I lost contact with some, or I’d never talk with them anymore, but the RPs I have done with them have been the best. I loved all my RP partners and I’ll always miss them.

RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: people who doesnt trim posts or reblogging a lot of ooc stuff? I guess I like to have my blog clean just as my dashboard. When I come here is to read or write cool shit or watching some fanart but nothing more.

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: COMEDY. I’m a total meme okay sorry. But if I have to choose, I’m between angst and fluff. Angst is the best to make the character improve (or not) and fluff...... sheesh, I just love writing stupid romantic stuff for my baby muses. For me they all are like a babies to me. Smut I write it rarely, and if I do I prefer in private.

PLOTS OR MEMES: MEMES- Okay but plotting when there’s an idea goes perfect, so both, yes both.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: depends on the mood of the day, I like to write more or less the same length as my rp partner? I like to share what my muses think most of the time.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: I dunno, I remember long ago it was in my nights, lately it has been in my mornings, but my mood swings a lot lately so I can’t choose.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): mostly no... but at the same time yes. They are more exaggerated than me. They did things I would never do. I think my empathy helped me to understand these characters and write my own interpretation. I like masterminds but I’m not that smart... but one thing I would love and you will always see in my muses are the chaotic vibes they give from afar. Always. That’s a part of me I give to them.

W.D Gaster was his father in this verse. However, this Sans knows fully timelines are different and that his Gaster is forever gone. Same with other characters. Nothing will be assumed, no worries.

Sans has high hp and level after defeating the human. This also means he can bring himself to hurt others more easily. Beware.

Reset/Save/Load functions does not work on his timeline. If you are a friend, he will warn you about it and keep an eyesocket out for ya.

History;; (TW: Needles, Murder, Experiments, Death)

Sans is a skeleton, living in the underground with his kind since humans banished monsters after winning the fight. In his timeline, he is the first son of two brilliant scientists: W. D Aster and T. N. Roman, having green defensive magic. He had lost his mother too early to have a clear memory of her. After they lost her, Aster took care of both him and his brother Papyrus but he was an idealist who refused to leave the work.. so the skelebros spent most of their childhood in lab. As the big brother, Sans had to make some sacrifices. He had to partake in some experiments and that’s where his power was born.

To make him powerful, his magic was altered; green magic splitted into blue and yellow but also splitting the original Sans into two entities: Justice and Patience. They were both Sans but different. Patience claimed the name Sans as Justice did not interfere until much later.

With his intelligence and natural talent, Sans soon was found more useful as a lab partner than a test subject. He joined Alphys and Aster in their researches. Like his mother, and now his father as royal scientist, there was an expectation that he would become the royal scientist in future.— Until Aster made the mistake of pulling Papyrus into his innocent experiments. Sans had attempted to kill Aster, Aster fell to core and thus the core accident happened. Sans burnt down the lab, with all his own projects inside, and gave up on the “royal” part of the science, took his brother with him and moved to the town far away from Hotland: Snowdin.

They were happy. Even Justice, with the new job he found in Royal Court. However, Justice’s existence was kept hidden from Papyrus. His young brother was a bundle of joy and he was enjoying their new life despite the unfortunate events that led up to that. Even when the Flowey’s terror reign began, he managed to hold himself together. He had only the snippets of that awful groundhog day. The only thing he knows for sure is that THAT TALKING FLOWER WILL BE SORRY WHEN SANS FINDS HIM.This continued until a being with stronger determination came and killed his brother. Sans could not stop them, could not save Papyrus from this fate he did not deserve. Even a bit.

At the judgement hall, with the determination pill he took recklessly and ready to fight until the end, he managed to hold on for a long time. But the defeat was inevitable and when he dodged an attack, being so mocking about it, he almost took the second one. This is the point where his story deviates from the no mercy run. He had been saved by a pacifist!Frisk who jumped to his timeline right in time, and he defeated the seventh human, for once and for all. He asked Frisk if they could reset their timeline and bring back everyone… It was not possible, Frisk had no power over any timeline that’s not theirs. And Sans tried to kill them, to force them to reset in a way. He did not succeed.

Sans became a hero for the monsters that day, and a symbol of peace with Frisk when they worked out their problems and become as close as siblings, almost. Monsters were respecting him and the kind even offered him a position he might desire. Sans..did not want it. He had lost many great friends, and his only family. He spread the dust of his dear brother on his favorite item, his racecar bed, and spent most of his days being in denial. Only times he spent outside was to help Frisk in some matters and Sans continued to use his magic excessively.. which led to his body melt..from the endless fight with the human, the pill and the sudden level-up, he could not maintain his form.

His body was looking no longer skeletall (one final pun before his life goes downfall) and he could not stabilize the melting alone. He asked help from Alphys, desperately trying not to become an amalgamate (which he learnt about after this incident and the possibility of becoming a being which will suffered forever still horrifies him). Thanks to Alphys’ help, he stopped losing more substance/magic.. yet the damage was done. His height, which was 4’ 8 before the incident, was lowered to 2’ 3. His hands were missing bones or looked nothing like a hand supposed to look most of the time. He was never solid, always melting be it unnoticeable or actually concerning. He managed not to get many questions about his condition from monsters, although curious or concerned glances were always a thing.

Sans is not okay. Both physically and mentally. His emotions are unstable despite his perfect acting and control over it when Frisk visits him. The seventh soul has not destroyed the barrier, due to time shenanigans concerning the time gap between Pacifist verse where Frisk is from and theirs. He often needs injection to stabilize his magic thus the melting, so he always has syringes around -hidden from anyone else-. He melts more when he is unstable emotion-wise or magic-wise and he may get shorter or less skeletal depending on the damage. Currently, there is no cure to his condition.. and Sans is making it worse on purpose as a punishment for failing his brother, by using his magic despite it is forbidden until he recovers //at least to some extent and it will take a few years to get to that point//.

*He is used to the fast-paced environment and a comforting presence for many in the Battle Subway he oversees with his twin brother. However, his time during and after Hisui resetted his system and preferences, thus, he enjoys the quiet more now.

*He is innovative and passionate, making him a feared opponent.

*He enjoys approaching every constant with change, and he is prone to getting lost in thought and philosophical mental discussions. He is fond of Emmet and how he entertains the passengers, but Ingo enjoys encouraging them and trying to rope them into his philosophical questions more.

He likes to reconsider and go over the problems at hand, making him question things he already knows; this sometimes tires others, however, he DOES enjoy talking and deep conversations.

*Innovative. Does not like repeating himself and his methods, thus, he is always after surprising the people he likes.

*Ingo LIES. As long as his ideals and principles are aligned with the lie he tells, Ingo is a terrifyingly good liar. He also likes to take the lead and making a change, and having some white lies to exaggerate the issues and problems does the trick most of the time.

*Ingo feels likes he can do anything he puts his mind to with Emmet by his side. Ingo takes the lead and makes the big decisions, or propose new ideas, because Emmet feels more at home with execution of ideas and making them real than he is with coming up with ideas.

*Ingo does not mind being lied to, if the intentions are good and the lie did not cause harm in the process. However, he WON’T take it kindly if the lie somehow involves Emmet and his well-being. Call it the big brother instinct, but Ingo will only take the truth for an answer to protect Emmet better.

History: Emmet and Ingo were born to a wealthy family, with high expectations and no space for self-expression. However, Ingo found his interests lying in books and stories, and when he can read a book in peace, he can tune out the outside world. This, however, makes him an escapist, and sometimes causes problem that could have been easily solved a bigger challenge than necessary.

His sibling rivalry (lighthearted and fun one) started long ago, as Ingo fed Emmet lies about how he would choose a grass-type pokemon, only to choose water to rain on Emmet’s parade–and Emmet’s Tepig. Which made Emmet get closer to their childhood friend Elesa, who had electric-type Pokemon (Emolgas), to challenge and win against Ingo.

When they were approaching their 20s, Emmet and Ingo decided to respectively live their truth and follow their ideals, which led to them to run away from home and reinvent themselves.

Ingo chose his name to signify the ongoing process of his life and ideals. Both a train pun (“ingoing”) and with a deeper meaning (From the Germanic *Ingwaz, possibly meaning “ancestor”.), he wanted to make his mark and tell the world that his legacy started NOW.

Till they landed a job together at the Battle Subway, Ingo took on tutoring the children on Pokemon Battles. He realized he liked the act of teaching and passing his knowledge to the next generations. He does not see himself as a family man with kids, but he is always on a look-out for his protégé.

VERSES

The Twin Trouble (Pre-PLA / Hisui Verse): The Subway Bosses conducts one of the biggest and toughest battle facility in Nimbasa City. Ingo pursues the ideal battles, and tries to create new ways and flairs to add. He wants to make sense of the world around them, thus, he enjoys when his philosophical questions are met with thoughtful responses from like-minded individuals.

Memories Faded (Hisui Verse- Takes Place During Ingo’s disappearance): Ingo does not remember how it happened, but he found himself in Hisui, a region whose name he had never heard… All he could remember was his own name. With the natural affinity he had for taming Pokemon, he was taken in by the Pearl Clan, allowing him the resources to make progress at making sense of his situation. He eventually became a warden, but he feels this is far from his true purpose. He is searching for the past he forgot, and tries to leave clues of his existence, though, he does not remember for whom.

He also grows his hair during this time, though he likes having short hair. His reflection with the long hair jogs his memory, for some reason.

Back Home (Post-PLA, Reunited with Emmet): After years, Ingo returns, but does so without his memories. He is met with someone in white, who is both overjoyed and yet troubled by his return. Ingo tries to make sense of this new, unfamiliar world after following a path of solitude for years, and… tries to understand if the forgotten bonds can be made anew. He fears disappointing his ‘brother’ and his ‘friends’, but, really, he cannot even remember who they were to him.

A few smol psa’s:

Minor godmodding is allowed. But when you make an assumption of something in Derek’s life (Eli’s background, Derek’s life before and Eli was born, etc) that shit ain’t cool and you’re basically doing some major godmodding there. Derek is not a nice person at first glance. Like if your muse doesn’t know mine then he’s not going to be nice or flirty or anything remotely friendly with yours. Derek’s life and past have made him have walls up the size of Mount Everest. He won’t crack as easily. He’s a dick. It’s who he is. His circle of trust is very small.

If you’re looking to write shippy smutty stuff with my Derek then you’re out of luck because as much as I do love it, I won’t be writing it as much unless I’m comfortable with the plot / way the ship is being developed. I’ll most likely imply it happened and jump to next day. As much as I love it, I’m more into the plot development / angsty / cutesy shit of all.

She, however, clearly wasn’t reading the book, but busily sketching up some esoteric alchemy diagrams she’d put behind it as she sipped on the hot coco she’d ordered with her signature silly straw.

Plague had successfully scouted out a location for a suitable temporary lab in the basement of an abandoned building. She had managed to move in most of her vital materials herself, but the cauldron was going to be a problem. Even if it was transmuted into lighter elements, it was still heavy and bulky.

That was why she sent for Agent Black. Also she missed her.

Several of her minions accompanied her in their green cloaks with fuschia plague masks and aprons. They pushed the cauldron on a rickety cart just far enough from the rift that it was less likely to be discovered if they attracted unwanted attention, and then all of the minions returned to their home world with Plague Knight staying behind.

She found herself feeling nervous. Why would this be? The Agent wasn’t going to harm her. Since she couldn’t stray from the cauldron and pacing risked attracting attention, she started picking the flowers and weaving them into a chain. She then got into the back up herbs for her mask and started integrating lavender and chamomile into the growing crown as well. She had just united the ends of the chain when she heard approaching footsteps and looked up.

“Hee hee! Hi! Uhh... Do you... want this?” she asked, awkwardly holding out the crown while looking away.

Laid back across a thick branch near the trunk of a tree, Plague Knight had been enjoying a pear maskless, but when she heard scattering birds, she dropped the pear in a rush to replace her mask. Not seeing the source of the birds’ flight, if there had truly been any to begin with, Plague shrugged and plopped onto the ground to retrieve her snack where she just so happened to come face-to-face with a certain chimera.

She wasn’t sure if she was allowed to be here, so she decided to play it off as a harmless mistake just in case she wasn’t.

“Heh, is this your land?”
