aw, thank you very much! sure, though this is more general likeness advice. the best tip i ever received is pick three things. could be any part of the face, and it applies to anybody, and it doesn't have to be big. the slope of a forehead, the way the nose turns up or down, the angle of the jaw, whatever you find the most fun to do. if you pick, and lock those down, you can get away with a lot of pushing and pulling with the rest of the features and still have it be 'them'. yours may end up being different, but here's mine!

I think some of the sympathy and warning towards young girls in terms of beauty-culture technological advancements (ie snapchat/tiktok/instagram filters: possibly the most insidious of weapons against self-esteem) needs to be ESPECIALLY extended to transgender women.

Hiii, honestly I just look at images of old people!

This + knowing the structure of the face (face muscles?) is good. I say look at images (or actual old persons) bc when you do you'll realize many ppl have a variety of ways wrinkles appear on the face (even though the base is the same).

This helps even if you aren't trying to draw Old old People (like when i draw talon, who is Old, but i wouldn't draw an old character of different circumstances in the same way i draw him. but i still ref old people for his wrinkles!)
