Unlock the Power: Minecraft Server Download Made Easy
Minecraft, the beloved sandbox game, offers an incredible multiplayer experience through dedicated servers. Hosting your own Minecraft server allows you to create a unique world, play with friends, and explore endless possibilities. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of downloading a Minecraft server, unlocking the power to create and customize your own multiplayer environment. - Understand Minecraft Servers: Before diving into the server download process, it's essential to understand the basics of Minecraft servers. A Minecraft server is a program that enables multiple players to connect and interact in the same virtual world. It acts as a central hub where players can collaborate, build, and embark on adventures together. By downloading a Minecraft server, you gain control over the gameplay experience, including customizing settings, installing plugins, and managing player access. - Choose the Right Server Version: When downloading a Minecraft server, it's crucial to select the correct version that aligns with your preferred gameplay experience. Consider factors such as the Minecraft edition (Java or Bedrock), the server software version (e.g., Spigot, Paper, or Vanilla), and compatibility with any specific mods or plugins you plan to use. Ensure that the server version matches the Minecraft client versions of the players who will be joining. - Select a Server Software: Next, choose the server software that suits your needs. There are several server software options available, each with its unique features and capabilities. For Java Edition, popular choices include Spigot, Paper, Bukkit, and Forge. For Bedrock Edition, options like PocketMine-MP, Nukkit, and GeyserMC are available. Research and compare different server software options to find the one that best fits your requirements. - Download the Server Software: Visit the official website of the chosen server software and navigate to the download section. Ensure that you select the appropriate version for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux). Download the server software to your computer. - Configure Server Settings: Once you have the server software downloaded, it's time to configure the server settings. Open the server configuration file (usually named "server.properties") using a text editor. Here, you can customize various aspects such as server name, maximum player limit, game mode, difficulty, and more. Adjust these settings to create the desired gameplay experience for your server. - Start the Server: With the server software and settings in place, it's time to start the server. Launch the server program on your computer, and it will create the necessary files and folders for the server to run. You may need to accept the server's End User License Agreement (EULA) and provide any additional information required by the server software. - Connect to the Server: Once the server is up and running, share the server's IP address or domain name with your friends or community members who wish to join. They can connect to the server by launching Minecraft, selecting the multiplayer option, and entering the server's address in the server list. Ensure that your computer's firewall or network settings allow incoming connections to the server to ensure smooth gameplay. - Customize and Expand: Now that your Minecraft server is live, you have the power to customize and expand your world. Install plugins, mods, or resource packs to enhance the gameplay experience. Consider exploring server management tools or plugins that offer additional features such as economy systems, land protection, mini-games, or other server-specific functionalities. Regularly update your server software and plugins to ensure compatibility and security. By following these steps, you can easily download and set up your Minecraft server, unlocking the power to create a customized multiplayer experience. Whether you're hosting a private server for friends or building a thriving community, running a Minecraft server allows you to shape a world where imagination knows no bounds. Embrace the possibilities, collaborate with others, and embark on countless adventures in your very own Minecraft server. Twitsoc

9/2/2019 - 5/25/2020: QuixolMC Changelog #28
My, my, it’s been ages since our last changelog. Where has the time gone?
Truth is, this post should have been uploaded a looooooooooooong time ago. Sadly, many of the staff of Quixol have been on an extended hiatus- leaving us with nobody left to type up these changelog posts for us, let alone work on new things... Read more on this here.
With the long hiatus behind us, there’s still some loose ends from our update to minecraft 1.14.4 that need tying up... such as releasing this post so you all know everything that was actually changed. Yeah, it’s pretty bad that we let it simmer for that long, but hopefully you’ve all gotten the hang of things without it.
With this changelog, we’d like to issue a special reminder that every “change” listed here is not necessarily something that happened recently- they can often be weeks, if not months old. After categorizing the changes into some main groups, we order them by chronological order, and provide a date as well so you can be sure of when a change was made. Hopefully this helps you get an idea of what you’ve missed, or if a certain “change” you just now noticed has actually been around for a while.
It should also be mentioned that the vast majority of the changes in this changelog are things that were changed in the huge 1.14.4 update we did.
For example, we released the sprawling new Chroma Park, our new party + games area. We also added some new datapacks, as well as updated our existing ones- you can check out all of the up-to-date info on the custom crafting recipes as well as the mob loot tables here and here.
There are numerous other changes and additions, but that’s what the rest of this post is for! Take a look below if you’d like to know more about all of the changes that have taken place in the past ~8 months (ouch).

- [10/01/19] Removed various buttons/signs from the grove, as the minigames there were broken anyway % [11/14/19] Reset most of the chunks in the end! The main end island and some of the surrounding islands were spared, as were a few player builds, but everything else has been reset # With this in mind, please be considerate of other players when exploring or building in the end. You should only need one elytra, and collecting multiple at a time is frowned upon unless you're specifically getting them for players you know who need one and don't have one yet # Also, remember that the materials inside of end cities are all craftable (including shulker shells from the shulkers thanks to our datapack), so you don't need to demolish end cities to get those items! - [11/14/19] Removed the following server warps: adventurehouse, bog, equinox, florida, ravine % [11/14/19] Renamed all warps leading to the world protos as "protos:<warpname>" to differentiate them from warps located in our primary world, ghalea + [11/15/19] Added new warp: /warp ChromaPark, our new party and games area! # Features five distinct zones with their own themes! + [11/15/19] Added updated warp: /warp Minigames, now leads to games lobby in Chroma Park + [11/15/19] Updated version of server minigame: Connect Four at Chroma Park (Sunset Lane) + [11/15/19] Updated version of server minigame: Squishu at Chroma Park (Sunset Lane) + [11/15/19] Updated version of server minigame: Spleef at Chroma Park (Wild West) + [11/15/19] New arena/warzone: Banker Brawls at Chroma Park (Wild West) + [11/15/19] Updated version of server minigame: Slappy Salmon at Chroma Park (Hydro Zone) + [11/15/19] Updated version of server minigame: Sheep Pit at Chroma Park (Verdant Vale) + [11/15/19] New server minigame: Chicken Roulette at Chroma Park (Verdant Vale) + [11/15/19] New server minigame: MushGolf at Chroma Park (Verdant Vale) + [11/15/19] New server minigame: Lava Fishing at Chroma Park (Synth Zone) % [11/15/19] Updated warp signs at Orsus to lead to Chroma Park + the new minigames lobby + [11/18/19] Set up droppers underneath Chroma Park dancefloor to dispense items automatically during parties
- Technical / Bug fixes -
% [10/01/19] Fixed bug where shulker bullets would explode instantly # [10/18/19] Server's hardware and location has changed. % [10/18/19] QuixolMC now runs on a very modern Ryzen CPU with a cpu benchmark score of 20,000+, as well as NVMe SSD storage. (This is a good thing) % [10/18/19] QuixolMC is now hosted in Utah, so players from Europe will have higher ping now. Players in Australia or elsewhere across the pacific may notice slightly improved ping. Players in the Americas may notice slight changes as well. - [10/18/19] Major loss of coreprotect data. All old coreprotect data is gone + [11/12/19] Enabled “per-player mob spawns” setting % [11/12/19] Reverted “count all mobs for spawning” setting to use vanilla behavior # "Per player mob spawns" means that the mob cap is no longer global; it is now per player. Or, at the very least, determined based on the amount of chunks loaded within your "region" of surrounding chunks (essentially all chunks that are connected together, so it could cover multiple players potentially). This requires more testing! # "All mobs count for mob spawning" means counting even mobs that are not considered "natural" (ie spawner mobs) to the mob cap. By changing to this we are effectively restoring vanilla behavior here. The old system caused some problems and wasn't really worth it in the end. % [11/12/19] Experience orbs now only merge up to a value of 1000 xp % [11/12/19] Chunks are scheduled to unload more frequently now - [11/13/19] Removed the annoying "registered furnace" / "registered brewing stand" messages caused by Jobs plugin % [11/14/19] You are now kicked from your faction after 1000 days of inactivity instead of 365. This is to basically "disable" the feature since it seems a bit buggy currently. % [11/14/19] Fixed bug which prevented players from viewing their own biography if they could not view other players' bios + [11/14/19] /bio age now accepts "minor", "underage", and "adult" in addition to integer arguments # Big list of QuantumChat 1.0.0 changes % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Fixed issue where if you sent a message in a channel you had previously toggled, it did not use the channel prefix color when un-toggling % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Improved link handler regex greatly; links in chat should be clickable 98% of the time now % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Fixed QuantumChat not processing certain pronouns discord users had set % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Doing "@all" will no longer notify everyone, only "@\everyone" and "@\here" work now % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: If a player who is muted sends a private message to someone, the receiver is now warned that the sender is muted & informed on how to ignore them % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Fixed inconsistency with /msg formatting from the ordinary chat formatting  + [11/14/19] QuantumChat: You can now send sound notifs to someone by "@" mentioning them in a private message % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: quantumMessage() function will now remove any newline characters from incoming messages % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: quantumMessage() function now handles cases where a player attempts to chat in a channel they do not have permission to use % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Fixed issue where a player's message in the discord channel may not get sent to orchid if the first result of quantumDeliver() is blocked % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Using "&r" will now reset the color/formatting to the default color of the channel/source you are in instead of always "&f" % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: /qchat command changed to /qc. Still has /qchat as an alias though  - [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Removed the blacklist GUI. It was taking up space and basically unused % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Fixed textual inconsistencies in /qc ignore  + [11/14/19] QuantumChat: /ch list was completely rewritten. It now displays whether or not a channel is toggled, as well as current chat channel  + [11/14/19] QuantumChat: /ch list will now display if the player currently has private messages toggled off  + [11/14/19] QuantumChat: /ch list now displays a message to factionless players informing them they need to be in a faction to use faction channels  - [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Removed /ch toggle list, as it is now replaced by /ch list % [11/14/19] QuantumChat: Fixed a mistake that allowed quick messages to be sent to the discord channel while orchid was disabled if someone used an alias for the channel (/ch d, etc.)  + [11/14/19] QuantumChat: The console can now send private messages to players through /msg . Just for fun :) % [11/14/19] Changed gamerule spectatorsGenerateChunks to true in all worlds # This is due to a 1.14.4 bug in which this gamerule causes chunks to not even load for spectator players, even if they're pre-existing chunks + [11/14/19] You can now make shops from barrels + [11/14/19] Interacting with shops now makes a sound - [11/15/19] Disabled Orchid (our Discord bot) for now due to being inoperational. # DiscordSRV (Quixibot) now handles minecraft to discord bridge % [12/25/19] Fixed bug where player can become stuck in sneaking mode when changing dimensions % [12/25/19] Fixed bug where block breaking animation did not show for other players % [1/22/20] Fixed a dupe glitch with tnt % [1/22/20] Fixed a dupe glitch with redstone dust % [1/22/20] Fix a client crash relating to invalid color nbt data (banners, sheep, etc) % [1/22/20] Fix bug where items get stuck in mid-air in certain circumstances (most noticeable w/ saplings, apples, sticks falling from decaying leaves) % [1/30/20] mcMMO: Improved behavior for mob health bars % [1/30/20] mcMMO: Mobs will now only reward Dodge XP a certain amount of times % [1/30/20] mcMMO: Fixed dupe bugs % [1/30/20] mcMMO: "tool ready" msg no longer sent to chat % [1/30/20] mcMMO: Superability interaction, ability off, & ability refreshed messages now sent to chat % [1/30/20] mcMMO: Fixed excavation loot unlock levels % [2/11/20] Fixed issue where muted players could not read or send /mail # Could be reverted if abused.

List of known bugs/issues:
! New players can sometimes get stuck in the beginning room of the tutorial ! The “mobs” section of the statistics counts how many times you’ve been killed by another player for some reason. It will not show how many times you have killed other players, however ! mcMMO: Sometimes, when you are killed by a mob you recently hurt, the death message just says you were killed by [a bunch of hearts]. (This is rarer since the update, but can still happen) ! mcMMO: You don’t get alchemy exp for making slow falling potions ! mcMMO: mcMMO’s messages, either party messages or about abilities, sometimes send at incorrect times, or even send to incorrect players ! Factions: Certain faction permissions are buggy or not intuitive ! PerWorldInventory: Player inventories saved in 1.11 - 1.12 (in the world Protos) may have shulker box data corrupted. undyed shulker boxes turn into purple shulker boxes, and any items inside shulker boxes may lose all of their NBT data. ! Quickshop: When making a quickshop into a double chest, then breaking it to make two single chests, it still thinks the shop is there, regardless of whether its told to be deleted with commands or manually broken in survival. ! Viaversion: 1.15.2 client may experience “ghost blocks” while mining very quickly, or, more frequently, after explosions occur. This is actually a vanilla bug, but it won’t occur if you’re on the server with a 1.14.4 client. ! Viaversion: Client may crash while typing book. Technically a vanilla bug, but exacerbated by viaversion. See here. ! Viaversion: 1.15.2 client will display all statistics in the “items” and “mobs” sections incorrectly/jumbled. It is an issue on the client-end, the server still tracks player statistics properly
Things to come:
• Update to 1.15.2 • New/updated Chroma Park games • Releasing more custom advancements • Fixing more bugs?
last changelog post (#27)
about changelogs
-----
That about wraps up this changelog- and what a lengthy log it was!
As stated before, most of the changes you saw in this post were a result of the ambitious 1.14.4 update we did in November last year. So, most of this stuff isn’t new by any measure- the most recent change on this list is already 3 months old.
Possibly the most ambitious, and most impressive, of these changes is Chroma Park. It took ~2 months of work from well over a dozen people to make the build you see today! It’s the designated “party area”, as well as home to several hand-crafted minigames that you can play for yourself at any time. Go check it out sometime! /warp ChromaPark
There were numerous other changes made, but one that might pique your interest is the large scale mcMMO update. Last year, mcMMO’s original developer returned from a long hiatus to overhaul the whole plugin- we tried to explain some of what’s changed, but honestly it’s a bit difficult to even summarize. You can take a look at some of the changes in mcMMO’s own “changelog” if you’re curious, however keep in mind that some of the information on this site is either outdated or does not apply to QuixolMC.
We apologize again for taking so long to publish this changelog... It really didn’t need to take as long as it did. But, better late than never, yeah? Hopefully the information is still useful to folks, even if it is “old news”.
We’d give an update on things on our end, but... I’m sure you’ve probably heard enough doom and gloom about hyperinfective viruses as it is. So, instead, we just want to wish you all good health. Things are scary out there, so make sure to stay inside- not just for your own health, but for everybody around you. Quixol will always be here for you!
See you again soon. 💙

Welcome!
Now that 1.14 is out, I’m launching the second season of my Minecraft server.
Season 1 was Oberonn Kingdom, and the gimmick was that no builds were allowed outside of a designated kingdom border. This way everyone works together as neighbors. We created some pretty great builds, established some colonies, both on Earth, and on the moon. Good stuff.
But now it’s time to upgrade.
The gimmick for the second season, known as the Oberonn Empire, is factions.
Like season 1, players can only build within the natural borders of the large island shown above, which comprises the entire empire.
But additionally to that, before they can play, they must join one of five realms that fall under the Emperor’s (me) rule. Each realm is a separate team who build together, work on projects together, and compete with each other.
Each realm is being led by a different mod on the server, all of them are chill folks who are looking forward to meeting you!
So please come join our discord, and choose a realm to join. Make sure to be there for the grand opening of the season which is very soon!
But please note that joining a realm means swearing loyalty and fielty to that realm and its leader. And we don’t see kindly to treason here in the empire!

hey yall! (announcement)
so, a lot has been going on behind the scenes and i’ve personally been in and out of some very unfortunate places but it seems i’ve gotten a grip on things and i finally feel comfortable enough to open up this server’s doors again! it’s currently being revamped (again again, i know, i’m trying to figure out what method of working is best for me, so sorry!) BUT it will STILL focus on roleplay, a calm and welcoming community on the smaller side and just having fun!!
the new server will be 1.14. it will require mizuno’s 16 craft & cit (and possibly ghoulcraft & minty’s pack) and it will have a max capacity of 60 members in the discord. there are currently 33 members in the discord. the server will have user-made factions AND races. there will be less focus on a team of mods hiding ingame secrets for the playerbase to find and more focus on stuff like relations between factions and races, character development etc.
the process of joining is currently application free because of the final server STILL BEING IN DEVELOPMENT. which means that there is technically no MINECRAFT server to play on at the moment as there will be a custom made map.
if you’re interested in joining and helping with the development, here’s an invite link. it has 25 uses, and once it has run out of them, you’ll have to wait until the server officially opens to get in.
INVITE HERE
if you join, please make an intro, and you will be let in.
thank you all so much for reading, and for your patience!!!

So... What's the deal? Below are features that we offer!
Survival - Regular, and just the way it was when you built your first dirt home all those years ago!
Minimal Plugins - To be honest, we're tired of lazy servers. Run by the same plugins, same things to do, same everything. We're bringing it back to the roots. This server offers everything a heavily modified server offers, but we do it with class. No plugin, all people, all effort. This offers player versatility, and the chance to do quite literally anything they want.
Quests - What we call dynamic quests. These are handmade stories, which prove to be very difficult. No B.S here, a quest is server wide and can only be done ONCE. When a quest is completed, said player(s) who completed it push the entire servers story forward. Unlock new features, go down in server history forever, and of course... get rewarded!
Lore - This server also features a very deep story, one that can't be looked up. Remember the days when you played Runescape and didn't know how anything worked? Remember how there was no website that had all the answers? That's what you'll find here. Clues are scattered across the world; and YOU can be the one to uncover them. All of what we know, is uncovered by players. Find a dungeon? Delve it, to learn something brand new; and teach others what you find.
Dungeons - Handmade super-powered dungeons are the end game. Only for the hardcore players. These dungeons feature limited inventory, a cash reward, exclusive dungeon gear, high difficulty... the works.
Organic Ruins - Players can report other player made structures they believe are vacant or unused. Said structures will then begin to rot, rotting structures become overgrown, and break down overtime! The items left over become scattered, for the next player to find! Reporting a building grants a cash reward.
Player Run Towns - All towns in this server are run by players, and built in survival. Towns which become big enough are able to become an official town! These towns choose between two separate factions, either becoming an industrious town, or a religious town. These towns become part of the server story/lore!
Economy - This server features a credit system which is used for a variety of things. You can trade credits with players for gear, items... anything they offer! Credits can be spent on entering dungeons, or used on Quests; and biggest of all... Credits ARE your grief protection. Should your property be destroyed, you incur a credit amount which has to be payed in order to have it instantly repaired. If you can't afford the repair cost, you can get a bill. Which allows you infinite time to gain the credits needed. Players do not need to use economy, if they prefer hand fixing everything that is always an option. There are no chest shops, players are encouraged to trade goods between themselves and form authentic bonds. Not ones with a chest.
Ranks - We offer a ranking system that rewards players who, well... PLAY! Each rank is used as a show for status and achievement. Nothing more! Players who continue to achieve greatness are rewarded with special prefixes and suffixes. An example... if a player named Bill Nye completed many quests in their day. They can get a suffix to make their new name Bill Nye the hero, or a prefix like [Hero] Bill Nye
Seamless World Updating - Let's be honest, server wipes suck, and are extremely lazy. We offer the opposite. If you spend a ton of time building, you can sleep easy knowing we announce on Discord and Instagram when the world is being upgraded. Then you have until the NEXT update to request a home/village/whatever being moved. Here's an example, if you build a ton of stuff in Minecraft 1.13; and 1.14 rolls out. The 1.13 world is kept as a secret warp for admins, if you request your house to be moved, we will go to the coordinates, check that it's yours, and copy it into the new world so you never lose your progress! The 1.13 world would be kept until 1.15 comes out, then it is moved offline and the 1.14 world becomes the back up for players to request homes from.
Events - As the server grows, we'll begin offering competitions by the week! These can range from gaining a certain amount of materials in a week, to building competitions! The player who wins is rewarded, and has their creation added to spawn!
Curated - This server has very lenient rules, because we feel the most fun is had when everyone is in a relaxing situation. However this server IS curated by staff.
Unlimited Building - We don't like pesky world borders. You want to know what we're set at? 30 million by 30 million. Have fun!

Current world size is 30.1GB!

The best Minecraft servers 1.14 – Survival servers, Hunger Games, and more https://ift.tt/2z2GdrQ
I still remember what Minecraft servers were like back in 2012 and 2013. The vast majority were just survival servers, perhaps with one or two anti-griefing mods installed but nothing more in-depth than that. And one or two big names were just starting down the minigames road that now utterly dominates the Minecraft servers landscape. But whether you’re looking for Hunger Games, Skyblock, PvP, PvE, factions, creative, survival, vanilla, anarchy, whatever: our Minecraft servers list has something for you. We’ll go over our picks for best Minecraft servers for 1.14, both for Minigames and for the more vanilla survival experience.

3/04/2019 - 9/2/2019: QuixolMC Changelog #27
Happy monday everyone!
It’s september now, and you know what that means? It’s officially been 6 months since our last changelog post... I don’t even know how it got to be that long, but that’s a crime.
The past 6 months have been kind of off and on for us at QuixolMC. We’ve introduced new build projects, had parties, reached some cool milestones (1337 unique players! woahhhhhhhhhhhhhh), said goodbye to some staff members, updated our rules... A lot’s been going on, but progress on server stuff has been a bit slow.
Hopefully, life has been treating you all well. We’ve been doing alright over here, just taking longer than we’d hope to get our big plans into motion. As you all know, minecraft 1.14 has been out for a while now, but we haven’t updated yet. So, what’s been going on?
Well, we don’t have any news about plans quite yet, but rest assured it’s on our minds. For now, let’s jump into all of the changes that have taken place on QuixolMC over the past half a year.

It means that all mobs & animals, no matter what, are ignored from the mob cap count unless they were spawned due to the natural spawning algorithm. % [4/10/19] Fixed the bug where players could not pick up any items if every slot in their inventory was filled, yet they should have been able to pick up the items still % [4/10/19] Fixed bug where zombie villagers could despawn while in the conversion process to a villager % [4/10/19] Fixed issue where permissions would sometimes not update for scout players after completing the tutorial % [4/10/19] Fixed bug where right-clicking on lwc-protected iron doors did not open them + [4/10/19] Factions' command system now supports/utilizes command suggestions (brigadier) % [4/10/19] Some fixes to factions not properly identifying certain materials % [4/10/19] Fixed many issues with Factions not properly protecting certain blocks/items from being used in claimed territory. # The following are now protected from being used/accessed by outsiders in claimed land: # + Shulker boxes (all colors) # + Cod bucket, pufferfish bucket, salmon bucket, tropical fish bucket # + TNT minecart # + Chipped & Damaged anvil # + Comparator # + Fencegate (all types) # + Daylight detector # + Turtle egg # + Shears # + Bonemeal % [6/27/19] Fixed this vanilla bug to do w/ the ender dragon's dragon breath cloud: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-114618 % [6/27/19] Fixed error when placing a sign on tall grass % [6/27/19] Fixed bug where players would sometimes be set as AFK immediately upon joining % [6/27/19] Slight tweaks to word filter % [6/27/19] Fixed new player jingle, it should play every time now! % [7/8/19] FINALLY, After more than half a year, fixed the bug with mobs dying on chunk boundaries! # No more worrying about animals randomly clipping into blocks and suffocating!!! This means you can block non-members from modifying your armor stands/item frames by disabling container access to non-faction members in claimed land % [7/19/19] Animals that can be saddled or have chests attached to them are now protected from being interacted with inside faction territory % [7/19/19] Players can no longer place water/lava, use flint and steel, etc. inside safezone/warzone % [7/19/19] Factions now recognizes guardians, elder guardians, endermites, shulkers, husks, strays, illagers, drowned & phantoms as hostile mobs now; won't spawn in factions safezone anymore % [7/19/19] Potted plants are now protected inside faction territory # Most of the above factions bugs existed on the server & were known about by Quixol’s staff for several months, but went unfixed for varying reasons. See the summary for more info. % [7/31/19] Fixed weird behavior of respawning at beds % [7/31/19] Better tab-completion/command suggestions in lwc commands % [8/31/19] Fixed persist mode (/cpersist) incorrectly giving an additional action after the command is disabled

List of known bugs/issues:
! New players can sometimes get stuck in the beginning room of the tutorial ! Standing still on top of a boat in water will deplete your hunger very quickly for some reason(???) ! The “mobs” section of the statistics counts how many times you’ve been killed by another player for some reason. It will not show how many times you have killed other players, however ! Peculiar bug with items in cursor slot disappearing in the inventory? Has only been reported once; unable to reproduce ! mcMMO: When you are killed by a mob you recently hurt, the death message just says you were killed by [a bunch of hearts] ! mcMMO: You don’t get alchemy exp for making slow falling potions ! mcMMO: mcMMO’s messages, either party messages or about abilities, sometimes send at incorrect times, or even send to incorrect players ! mcMMO: Using /mcrank seems to break for certain players sometimes. After a name change perhaps? Unable to reproduce ! mcMMO: Some players have reported their mcMMO levels being reset/lowered? Has only been reported once; unable to reproduce ! ! Viaversion: 1.14.4 client may experience “ghost blocks” while mining very quickly, or, more frequently, after explosions occur. This is actually a vanilla bug, but it won’t occur if you’re on the server with a 1.13.2 client. ! Viaversion: 1.14.4 client may crash while typing book. Technically a vanilla bug, but exacerbated by viaversion. See here. ! Viaversion: 1.14.4 client will display all statistics in the “items” and “mobs” sections incorrectly/jumbled. It is an issue on the client-end, the server still tracks player statistics properly ! Viaversion: Bug with infinitely eating potatos/carrots when attempting to replant them
Things to come:
• Update to QuixolMC 1.14.4! • An exciting new build project...! • Releasing more custom advancements • Other updates to QuixolMC’s custom datapack • Fixing more bugs? • Big updates to qChat, other custom scripts
last changelog post (#26)
about changelogs
-----
Whew! For six months, you would think there would have been more changes huh? As we’ve said, it’s been a bit slow-going as far as changes and updates to the server go. Rest assured, we are still moving forward with projects, it’s just been slow due to being as short-staffed as we are currently. You can expect to possibly see some new staff members coming on soon!
Anyhow, to expand upon some of the stuff discussed in this changelog, you may have noticed a great number of bug fixes to factions. Many of these may seem like quite alarming or dangerous exploits, and you’d be right.
All of the faction bugs mentioned for the July 19th changes existed and were known by Quixol staff for a long time; some of them were particularly nasty. We never mentioned them in these changelogs for fear of them being abused.
Now that they are fixed, we don’t have as much reason to worry. Still, we apologize for allowing these to exist on the server for so long. Some of them were out of our control, while others were due to us having factions improperly configured. This shouldn’t happen again. If you notice major bugs or exploits like this, please inform the staff, we’ll do what we can to fix them.
With all that said now, we ask that any faction owners please review your faction permissions with the command /f perms. This will bring up an interactive chest menu which allows you to set permissions for your own faction, both for faction members and for what other players can do on your claimed territory even if they aren’t in your faction.
It’s most crucial that you tweak the default permissions for any non-member players, such as neutral, truce, ally, and enemy. By default, factions will treat the “container” permission as “allow” for all of these relations. For some reason, factions treats modifying armor stands and item frames as a “container” interaction; so if you don’t want people messing with your item frames or armor stands (or possibly other container blocks), you should make sure this permission is set to “deny”. If you have more questions about the faction permissions, feel free to ask, we’ll try to help out if we can.
While we’re on the topic of show-stopping bugs getting fixed, did we mention that the bug of mobs dying on chunk boundaries was finally fixed after nearly half a year? This issue was discovered & documented by admins Vivian and Skyler, and it’s thanks to our thorough testing & bug reports that the issue was ever resolved in the server software itself. If you play on another server that uses Paper, just know that we played a small part in making it less buggy! Oh, we also reported the issue of zombie villagers despawning in the conversion process & got that fixed too. Yay, Quixol admins!
Other than that... Is there anything we forgot about? Huh? Pillage & Village update? Oh yeah, that happened. Still no news for you yet, sorry. You can connect to the server with 1.14.4, though. The server itself is still on 1.13.2, though. Check out this post we made about it for more details.
Anyhow, that should be everything now. Thanks for reading, and hopefully we’ll see you again in 1.14??? - Quixol Staff

Why did you make a server again?
Well, let me tell you. For too long, I feel like servers have stayed to the easy formula. Sure, it works; but what makes it different than the last? Our story begins in 2015, before this server was even created. My childhood favorite server was shut down unexpectedly. Something I'm sure we've all experienced before, the heartbreak of something you really enjoyed disappearing off the face of the internet. Well, since that day? I've been planning! We've only been public for about 11 days now, but we're growing at a good pace. So, you're probably wondering what we offer? Why not take a peek below!
x
Have fun!

Current world size is 25.8GB!

Have fun!

Minecraft servers [1.14] – best Minecraft servers for Survival, Hunger Games, and more https://ift.tt/2MYlAoz
We’ll go over our picks for best Minecraft servers both for Minigames and for the more vanilla survival experience.
