Don't think you've got away from me with just 4 questions for Aon ;) 20, 25, 33 + 12 (this one for both canon!Aon & corpo!Aon)

Omfg you putting me up for some challenges here. Pls excuse if the answers for Corpo Aon are not as 'developed' as the ones for the main HC. But I will try my best for you!

20 - When they are sad or upset do they need company or some time alone

Canon Aon: In her teenage years she always reached out to the the people she considered as a confidant/friend or partner when she felt sad. It really helped her to hear encouraging words or just getting a hug. When she had to leave Moscow she lost a lot of trust and rather sticked to herself and hid this emotion behind other emotions like a security mechanism, so she doesn't had to reveal she felt sad. For example laughing over bad situations. She never really learned to reach out to someone again but good for her she found ppl who can look behind that mask (especially Anna and Kurt) and therefore can give her all the things she actually needs but would never ask for.

She can deal a lot 'better' with beeing upset even when she had to learn to calm her anger over such situations. It often just helps to talk openly about the things that annoy her, but if she gets to hot headed she rather be for herself to calm down to not say or do smth she would regret later

Corpo Aon: She's way more openly with those feelings and in general a more chill person. But that's because she has become 'emotionally numb' over the years with SovOil and sees a lot of think more rationally. But later when she's with Colonel Peacock a lot of the thick ice that she build up around her will melt and she will learn to become a person instead of a corpo robot.

25 - Do they have fears and phobias, and if they do, do they usally keep it to themselves or talk about it openly

Canon Aon: I think she developed a slight Agoraphobie especially in relation to large gatherings of people and large squares in cities. She has been followed by agents of the Secret Police for years and felt really insecure when she couldn't tell who are all the people around her. Getting paranoid and all that. She tries to hide that ofc or when Kurt wants to take her to the city she tries to find stupid excuses not to go. But at some point he even helped her to overcome that phobia.

And about fears there are two things. One as I mentioned in another question is that she doesn't want to dissapoint her loved ones. So probably a fear of failure. And the second is the fear to suffocate. Step(dick)dad put that trauma on her (I need to finish my writing *cries*). So everytime she gets in situations where she's really really low on air she can start to panic. Or if someone touches her by the throat (Kurt had to learn that at some point but turned it to smth good by showing gentleness. He can really be a good guy sometimes). And maybe quit smoking at some point, Aon. Could help. Just a hint lmao.

So all in all she tries to hide her emotions here too but sooner or later it will come to light or she has to adress it to not feel even more uncomfortable with it.

Corpo Aon: Can't really think of a phobias she might have but she actually fears to be alone and later in addition to lose things/ppl that are important to her. She was a huge loner in her SovOil time and therefore is a lot clingier than canon Aon. You therefore could imagine smth like midnight storm (since she already had big feels for Kurt there) and seeing him almost die, was a insane emotional rollercoaster.

And here she would be more open about those fears aswell.

33 - What are one of their fondest and most treasured memories

Good it is just ONE of the fondest. I am so bad at ranking stuff.

Canon Aon: I have a scene in mind, short after Midnight Storm when Kurt is at his lowest point ever he would visit Aon in Russia since he wants/needs her expertise to build up his black market (circus) empire. Aon would introduce him to some of her suppliers. I think it would be epic if she would work togehter with something like 'ice pirates'. I don't have a better name for it. Illegal smuggle ppl with a badass ice breaker ship. They would visit them in their 'pirate bay' far up in the north.

So Kurt is still really down, emotionally, physically, a mess in general. They would stay in a house/cabin at the pirates bay and Aon would ask him to come outside during the night to show him the northern lights. I like to imagine Mr. Worldwide has never seen them in reallife and would actually be wowed. And if there is something Aon really enjoys it's making the peacock speachless. So it was a small, kind of magic moment that helped to cheer him up. And around that time they started to become closer. It all still took some time to develope since they didn't saw each other regulary but let's say it was one of many moments that sparked something for them.

Corpo Aon: There are not much fond situations before she goes to America so one of the greatest memories she probably has was when she and Kurt opened up the Black Market in Dogtown and her businesses started to flourish. Like a new beginning for them - togehter. Leaving all past things behind.

12 - How high is their self-esteem

Canon Aon: When it comes to work her self-esteem is really high. She often even turns into a annoying know-it-all.

In other areas, she first had to learn her self-worth. Her parents, especially her stepfather, treated her like trash and she felt that way for many years. As unwanted, outcast and a mistake. Only when she was with the Nomads and found many people there who appreciated her, her personality etc. and later also met Kurt who accepted her with all her strengths and flaws as she is, it gave her a boost and she also became more confident here.

Corpo Aon: For the most part, she only defines herself through her work, so she has a stronger sense of self-worth. She also never had to go through the teenage traumas like Canon Aon. Well, she did go to war, but these experiences also helped her to grow.

Gentle sunbeams cut through the whispering mist surrounding the Squat Frog Coffee House. It was some time after lunch and Lute had just finished tidying away dried cups and dishes. He was just full enough to start getting sleepy, and it was easy to zone out. Good time to have a nap soon. The sound of creaking cartwheels broke the spiral out of his daydream. A small covered cart rattled along the dirt and flattened grass towards the coffee house. A long-limbed skydancer wearing a sedge hat was at the reins, coaxing her rambra to a halt. She disembarked in one fluid motion, dusting herself off in a delicate manner. Her voice was warm like a bell. "Lute! I have things for you!" "Miss Nita!" Gunita had vibrant feathered wings that fluttered with butterflies in a sort of glamor. She was seldom without her fox fur and headdress, allowing only her mouth and her warm ember eyes to identify her. A heavy paper bag was part of her collection of pouches and pockets under her cape. She tipped her hat at Lute as she walked into the coffee house. "Got your letter just before I was leaving Earthhome, so I got you souvenirs as promised. Wouldn't miss The Beast's comeback for anything. I apologize for the meltiness, it was already a bit soft when I got it for you. Got some wasteland pears for you too since I was already there." The skydancer set out her gifts from a paper bag, revealing a pennant, and hat, and a magically chilled pawpsicle. The pawpsicle was gray with blue gum drop eyes slightly askew in the likeness of Kaiju Wrestling star Caledus the Beast.

"Thank you, Miss Nita! Man, can't wait for the matches. Haven't watched good wrestling in a while and I've seen the Beast since I was a hatchie. Tell me about your journey here while I make you a cuppa! Put your feet up!" Lute eagerly ushered Gunita to a seat at the bar, grabbing his gifts in one motion. Business with Laurelnest's trader was interesting--wanted gold in exchange for plants in the Labyrinth, of all things. The Gladekeeper surely homes all sorts. I'm afraid I can't recommend them as gold is not high on Cloud Brush's priorities." Something wiggled a memory in Gunita's mind, like a loosened tooth, as the spiral eagerly chattered. It was years ago, but the snapshot appeared in a wave of calm as tea hit her tongue.

"It's beautiful, Zareen. Thank you..." Gunita traced her fingers on the simple sketch. Each stroke was calculated and controlled, but the young clan leader's approach was softening--something his father had taught him, no doubt.

"It's a memento for you on your travels. I know it's hard to stay for long. You will always be welcome here, my love. I hope one day I can make home...safe again. For everyone." And for you, the unspoken words rang in silence. The merchant nodded, heart twisting in her chest. "Thank you for understanding. I'll...I'll try my best too. Please don't feel you must wait for me to settle. Create your life here and create your joy, and I'll be happy no matter what." Zareen turned to look at her, electric eyes a glassy bright blue, and she knew he understood.

The sound of a screaming kettle broke the skydancer out of her memory. "Oh, water's done! I'll be a minute," Lute sheepishly grinned. He jumped across the counter back to the kitchen, allowing Gunita a pause to collect herself and wipe any stray tears. Things were healing here already, she thought. Her long, low exhale shook her aging bones free. Even if it did take years and years. She thumbed some treasure from her purse and rose to leave, but he waved her off. "Oh souvenirs are payment enough this time, Miss Nita! But please take your time here. Are you going to watch Kaiju Wrestling?! Oh, I bet you'd love The Empress, she's so cool. I think Mister Mac is coming by for a hot chocolate and some snacks, and I know you'd love to see him!" The spiral looked at her with comically large kicked-puppy eyes. Gunita had to laugh. The nap, and any plans of leaving, was left forgotten for at least several hours.

It's rare that Broden makes his way to Midgar. His disdain for the place stems from many memories, not the least of which is what happened to him while in Soldier. However, his relationship with Melissa has made the slightly more frequent visits to at least Sector 6 more enjoyable. The debauchery that happens during that sector's nightlife is also nothing to scoff at, and something Broden has taken part in before when his health had been better.

"Melissa," he says with a smile and a bow of his head as she approaches him. "Excellent to see you again." Carefully, he holds her elbows and leans in to kiss her cheek in greeting; as ever, she smells lovely and looks exquisite. He would tell her that even on her worst days, though. "I brought your order with me. It's being brought into the kitchens as we speak."

Moving from a regular sex worker to a proper businesswoman had been no small challenge - even if Melissa had prepared herself for that over the years, the woman had not anticipated the reach of Corneo's tentacles and how he would try to negatively influence others where the new Honey Bee Inn was concerned.

But it was no matter - there was little in Wall Market that the madame needed; her goals were much more ambitious. The place, in her mind, was not going to be just another brothel - it should be a pleasure house, with the best girls but also the finest drinks and delicacies available. Hiring a foreign chef, finding experienced kitchen aid and then new suppliers was all part of the plan - but Broden becoming one of her partners had been a most fortunate thing indeed.

Not everyone that owned an inn or a restaurant outside Midgar had necessarily replied to her original letter seeking to establish such dealings - but the Kalm innkeeper did. And more than helping with the referrals and tips when he learned of who she was and the plans for Wall Market, they had become friends - even if from a distance, given how difficult it was for a slum-dweller to escape the infamous Shinra's checkpoints.

But he could come to her - and when Broden did, either to oversee a delivery from his own trusted suppliers from the Grasslands or an errand to acquire something from the local shops (although Melissa couldn't imagine what was manufactured in Midgar that would ever prevail over a Kalm original), it made her day better. His face was remarked as serious and stern by her own staff, but the madame did not feel that way.

(Or maybe it was the fact that Broden usually had a smile and the most respectful stance whenever she was concerned - it was impossible not to feel like the queen Melissa called herself when one acted so knight-like before her.)

"It is always a good day when you are here. I cannot thank you enough for the generosity you have showed me for the past couple of years," the woman chuckled, approaching him and allowing herself to enjoy the gentlemanly kiss over her skin. Melissa had been used to much more scandalous acts than fleeting signs of affection, but it was impossible to subdue the warmth that his presence evoked.

"I suppose your darling boys will need a moment to unload everything, then. Perhaps enough for a refreshment, as our thanks? I know it's early and the crew is yet to come in, but I can make them some iced tea," the woman offered, even if it was to have Broden stay for a little longer - they both had their businesses to run, but weren't owners entitled to small breaks as well?

She then reached out to him - bringing their hands together and holding his for a moment. Over the last couple visits, Melissa had been both drawn to Broden (more than usual) and also aware of the slight tremors when he gestured. Surely a visual reminder of his decaying health - even if they didn't speak about it, the rumors were plentiful. But sometimes, a steady hold and the presence of another body could comfort a soul, enough to translate to some temporary physical improvement.

The inn proprietress would know - it was their greatest asset, after all: companionship.

"Play a match of Queen's Blood with me? It's always better when we do it face to face. And you can also tell me all about life out there - is your friend still working on the old Republic mills? They sounded majestic when you described them," the woman offered, covering his hands with both of her palms - a gesture meant to share her own bodily warmth with Broden and to reinforce her plea.

There was so little she knew about Gaia - and Broden, on the other hand, had seen so much, even if it was tainted by his prior employment with Shinra. They could only hope that her childlike fascination would be enough to remove some of these stains over his precious memories.

"One day we will go see them together, Broden. It's a promise."

In the memory market, Predator Storage Acer‘s premium gaming brand, whose goods are manufactured by Biwin is by no means a well-known name. Still, the business has made an effort to become well-known. Predator Storage has upgraded to DDR5, just like a lot of memory suppliers. The Hermes, Vesta, and Pallas II series make up its current DDR5 lineup. The Hermes series is the top of the line, with glaring frequencies up to DDR5-8000 and capacities up to 64GB (2x32GB).

Given that the Hermes memory modules are 51.20mm (2.02 inches) tall, especially if you’re using a large air cooler, you should consider the clearance space for your CPU cooler. Users of liquid cooling don’t need to worry as usual. The Hermes is brightly illuminated in eight separate lighting areas thanks to the RGB light bar. Fortunately, you can tweak the lighting using the software on your motherboard. Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync are all compatible with the Hermes memory modules.

The memory modules use a black-dipped 10-layer printed circuit board. You will get two 16GB DDR5 memory modules with a single-rank design since it is a 32GB memory kit. The SK Hynix integrated circuits (ICs) are the H5CG48AGBDX018 (A-die) models, which are excellent for overclocking. The memory modules, which contain eight A-die ICs, use the 2GB version. The power management IC (PMIC) had faint markings, but it does display the Global Mixed-mode Technology (GMT) 5100 module.

The Hermes memory modules default to DDR5-5600 with 46-45-45-90 timings if the user doesn’t intervene. The memory kit has support for XMP 3.0 because it is designed for Intel chips. The DRAM voltage and required timings will be set to 1.4V and 32-45-45-108, respectively, by the DDR5-6800 profile. With the 7D28vAA firmware, the Core i9-13900K is operating on the MSI MEG Z690 Unify-X in the Intel test system. AMD system, on the other hand, pairs the Ryzen 7 7700X with the MSI MPG X670E Carbon WiFi, which has been updated to the 7D70v18 firmware. The operating temperatures of Raptor Lake and Zen 4 processors are regulated by the Corsair CUE H100i Elite LCD liquid cooler.

It makes sure that gaming RAM benchmarks don’t have a graphics bottleneck by assigning the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Gaming X Trio to handle the more demanding workloads. Crucial’ s MX500 SSDs house the Windows 11 installation, benchmarking software, and games. In the meantime, systems are powered cleanly and abundantly by the Corsair RM1000x Shift ATX 3.0 power supply, which powers the GeForce RTX 4080 directly through a native 16-pin (12VHPWR) power cable. Last but not least, keeping hardware organized depends on the Streacom BC1 outdoor test bench.

Hermes’s performance was up to par. It was unable to compete with memory kits priced at DDR5-7000 and higher. Due to the tighter memory timings, it was the fastest of the two DDR5-6800 memory kits.

Surprisingly, the Hermes outperformed the AMD platform’s Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-7200 C34. Predator Storage’s memory timings were lower, which helped in this instance but not on the Intel platform, even though the latter is binned at a higher data rate.

Even with SK Hynix A-die ICs, the Hermes memory kit didn’t show off astounding overclocking potential. It did, however, peak at DDR5-7200, surpassing the DDR5-7000 attained by the Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-7200 C34. The memory timings were not compromised in any way. We managed to stabilize the memory at 32-42-42-92 and 1.45V, which is marginally superior to the XMP timings.

Using the Hermes, we were able to get the ideal timings for a DDR5-6800 memory kit. We were able to change the timings from 32-45-45-108 to 30-40-40-90 by raising the DRAM voltage from 1.4V to 1.45V. Since that A-die integrated circuits aren’t known for their precise timings, it might have just been a case of lucky silicon.

Regarding performance or looks, you shouldn’t have any issues with the Hermes RGB DDR5-6800 C32. Excellent performance is available right out of the box with this memory. The Hermes RGB DDR5 currently has the lowest memory timings available for a Predator Hermes RGB DDR5-6800 memory kit, which is helpful. While it’s a nice idea, adding a 40mm cooling fan isn’t really necessary. It can only be used with four DIMM motherboards due to design limitations, and the additional cooling that the fan offers is not necessary unless you’re severely overclocking the memory or your case has limited airflow.
